Beware On our trip…read moreto Destin, we stepped off of the airplane and met a couple of friends and decided we needed a larger golf cart than the one that came with our condo. In our haste, I went to this company's website filled out all of the information and paid over $1000 to rent a golf cart for a week. They immediately called me collected the address and told me that they would deliver the golf cart that night. A couple hours later they called back realizing that I was staying in Resort called sandestin that they could not deliver the golf cart because Sandestin is a closed resort that does not allow deliveries. It does say "no sandestin" on their website. This was an oversight on my part and I admit it 100%. They then told me that they do not do refunds. The owner reached out through email and told me that people book months in advance and hurt their business because they want a refund once they arrive and realize that the cart cannot be delivered to sandestin. This is understandable and I do not blame them. However, my rental was denied the same day and I did not hold up their cart for a week. The owner simply told me that they're going to keep my $1000 and that's the end of it because the website says "no sandestin". I even offered to pay for the cart for a full day because of the confusion and they refused me because they just want the $1000 for no services rendered. Minor mistake and oversight on my part, absolutely! Ethical of this business owner to take advantage of people from out of town and keep all of the money from a same-day rental when a cart was never issued? You decide. I have copies of the emails. I'm happy to post them, but this company will do whatever they can to keep your money I would not trust them. This was a very simple decision to make for this business owner but that chose to keep money for nothing rendered on a same day mistake. Good luck , there's a lot other rental spots. Choose wisely.

Completely went out- did not work at all. We called the company immediately and told them of our situation. They were very surprised as they told us they test all golf carts Prior to renting but were willing to exchange the cart. We were all very shaken up and asked to get a full refund which we feel should have been offered under these circumstances. I have attempted to use them twice more. They have provided me a quote for two different stays which I agree to. Once they realize it's me, they call me and tell me they misquoted me and hike the price way up. I texted screenshots of previous quotes and told then I was disappointed they were hiking the prices because of the person wanting to rent. They told me it was them who should be disappointed as they have never had to issue a full refund and they felt my husband was rude to them. I was there- he was not rude but we were rightfully upset at what happened. I will never rent from them again and I am very disappointed in how they handled themselves. They advertise together and are in the same building, so I suspect it's the same owner. But I could be wrong. But a successful business must meet a real want/need too. And Reef Beach Services and Rental/Under the Sea Ice Cream seems to do that. They have most of the stuff you want and need for your idyllic beachin - burgers, hotdogs, ice cream, ice, boards, chairs, bikes, golf carts, and more. Horizontal diversification perhaps! Most other places in this area are more narrow in their range of offerings. For example, Big Daddy's is just bikes. Pecan Jack's is just sweets and ice cream. Yolo is just bikes and boards. Under the Sea Ice Cream/Reef Beach Rentals and Services has it all, and when you are trying to maximize your beach day, that matters. Meeting your potential customers where they are! It works! On our way down, I remember that I forgot to make a final confirmation, However en route late at night down to the beach my wife emailed and got a quick response. We filled out the paperwork that night and Bob had us a cart by 10a.m. the next morning. The cart was an electric Revo cart. On our second day, I ended up thinking I let the battery go dead, Bob was quick to respond /come and charge it using a generator. But after all it was not dead but 75% charge left in battery. I just accidentally bumped the kill switch. Never the less Bob did not charge for the emergency call on a Sunday night. Great experience, communication, and service.
