The crew working on 4/6/2026 (cosmo, Tanisha, alex) were amazing!!! They helped me with multiple questions I had for my kiddos and made some delicious smoothies for them!! It was the perfect finish after our hike this afternoon. Great crew!! Thank you guys!! read more

We got a smoothie bowl. The bowl is a decent size with a good amount of toppings. My daughter wasn't a fan of all the granola, but I'm a texture junkie so I liked it. The granola didn't have a lot of flavor but it was good together. It has acai, bananas, strawberries, and pineapples. The acai was smooth and creamy. Not too sweet, and very filling. I'd get it again. Check them out!! read more

Did the smoothies recipes change?? Both smoothies were so sour and with no sweetener ? Food was good tho

Ordered two smoothies. Four workers behind the counter. Waited ten minutes listening to them talk, none of them working on my order. Manager finally comes out and tells them to make the smoothies faster, then they super slowly started to actually make my order. I was the only customer, online or in store, the entire time I was there. read more

No quality check before passing food out the salad was spoiled and sour smelling, but the second one was fresh and crunchy. There is short staff but whoever packages orders should be checking the food before going out and should at least have dates on when the salad was made. I paid for a rotten salad I couldn't eat read more

Jayden the light skin girl that work there she is real pretty and very nice and I think she deserves to be manager over Ms.sarah me personally she don't change her gloves when I was ordering my food and I spoke up bout it I'll never go there again but love Jayden she makes my smoothies so good ask for her read more

The place was filthy, no room to sit and my smoothie tasted like it was made with toilet water. Additionally, the menu is super limited, forcing you to choose between chicken, chicken, chicken, hummus and veggies. It is also slower than molasses in January. read more

This location has went downhill so much over the last year. The young employees hide in the back all the time so they don't have to work. They sit on their phones and talk bad about customers. I suggest you skip this location. Service is horrible. read more

I placed an online order from the parking lot. It took about 25 minutes. I walked in and my food was sitting on the counter in a bag with stickers on it that were individual for the items that I ordered. I got my food and left . when I got home I realize that every single one of my orders was wrong . I called back, and the girl said oh we were busy and laughed it off and said we can remake it for you, so I had to order another lunch for my family A few days later I come back to get my remake and the manager is ringing on the register with her gloves and proceeds to go make food ! when I said something to her about it , she said oh that's why I was using my knuckles What!! very gross will not visit this location again. read more

White girl in the back was rude as hell. Yelled at me when I thought a smoothie was mine. My GREEN smoothie was brown. I asked for no banana because I'm allergic. And strawberries instead. I order this smoothie a lot and it still comes out green. Not today I guess.... My husbands smoothie was watery. DISGUSTING ! When my husband asked them if they made it right they wouldn't remake it for me. Cashier was a sweetheart though. Looked like she hated her life. I don't blame her since the rest of her co-workers were rude as hell. read more

We walked in before closing time and one of the employees hid in the back just so they didn't have to serve us, we even had people in the lobby telling them that we walked in before closing time just so we could order. seems pretty ignorant of your employees you might want to talk to the ones who were working sunday night closing shift! read more

I came here while I was waiting for my table to be available at a nearby restaurant. I was super thirsty so I decided to walk to TSC. This is a tiny location! It was very clean and well kept inside. The cashier was very friendly and energetic. I didn't have to wait very long for my smoothie. I was happy about that because I was dying of thirst lol. I ordered the Sunshine smoothie which consists of mango, pineapple, orange juice, banana, and orange. YUM!!! I wasn't able to finish it all because I was freezing lol I would definitely get this one again and I would definitely come back to visit this location again if I'm ever in this area again. read more

smoothie had ice chunks like the blender was broken. it happens almost every time I go here

Great smoothies. Huge variety of flavors. I like that they refresh the Smoothi menu occasionally. Only once have I ever seen them give free samples of their new smoothies and it was the one that had beets in it. I'm glad they gave a free sample because I did not like it at all. They had a sandwich years ago that I just loved. But it someplace they stop carrying it. I tried many of the other sandwiches and wraps but nothing ever really replaced it. So I come here for smoothies but not so much for the food because I have not found many of the sandwiches, wraps, salads I tried impressive. This location gets very very busy at lunch because of the customers coming from surrounding businesses some of which are in the shopping center. If you come at lunchtime expect to wait in a long line. Also expect to be pleased with your smoothie. This location has an outdoor eating area two tables and a few chairs. read more

Very slow when I finally got drink it was not mixed well Large chunks of ice and fruit.

I arrived around 2pm and the place was pretty busy. The store is so small there's not even a decent place to form a line and it was causing people to trip over one another. I ordered food and a smoothie, and while the food came out within ten minutes and was very delicious, it took about 20 MORE minutes to get my smoothie. Open leaving they messed up my order as well and put a ton of ginger in my smoothie which shouldn't have any at all and it was disgusting. I was so fed up with waiting I didn't even bother to go back. Update: I did decide to go back and she said to come back TOMORROW to have it remade. Just wow. I just got the refund and left. read more

It's a great place for smoothies but I don't like that the only offer two flavors for the children's smoothies. Would love it of they have all the flavors available in a child's size. Make sure you sign up to get discounts sent to you via mobile text. These come in very handy when you consider the prices. read more

Service was a little backed up while visiting. They didn't know who ordered what and as customers were sitting the had to call out and reconfirm who ordered what. Only 3 workers in the back working and about 11 of us waiting. The staff was very apologetic and were trying to get the orders made. read more

I went to visit tropical smoothie today, and order a beach bum and an awesome chocolate. I wanted the awesome chocolate in an adult size. The lady behind the counter advised me to get a peanut butter cup smoothie with no peanut butter. I ordered those smoothies, and while I was paying a girl named Vivian yelled out, "who orders a peanut butter cup with no peanut butter." I just though that was very unprofessional. As well she gave me my drink once she was done and slammed them on the counter. I will continue to visit this tropical smoothie because the food and drinks are delicious, but that experience was not okay. read more

If I have the smoothies without sugar/splenda, they're great! But sometimes they forget and it becomes too sweet for my liking. I'll stick with my homemade smoothies. The items other than smoothies are pretty awesome. They've had their hands in a number of things from bowls to sliders and they've all been terrific! read more

Frequent this location almost weekly for my family because it's close but we rather drive to another location. The employees are usually friendly but the managers and owners cheat you out of food and make a ton of rules-- even as far as how you have to pay. Whenever I have asked for any customization or a small request, the daytime manager always says, "It's what corporate and the owners want us to do." I placed an order and one day she said it 5 times. There was a separate issue and after agreeing to fix my order, this same manager gave me a difficult time once I came inside the store and tried to find every reason possible as to how they didn't make a mistake. I had to cut her off and explain that I only wanted the replacement that was supposed to be given to me. The last straw is the fact that they have been cheating people out of food and making sure they give the bare minimum of everything-- even if you pay extra. I asked about measurements and scales which the manager said they don't use for their yogurt bowls. Every açaí bowl for my family is always inconsistent and wrong. Never proportioned evenly and the smallest amount of yogurt. This is the only location that will rob you. They're big on taking your money and not wanting to fix their mistakes. Again, the only good thing about this location is the employees. read more

What's the purpose of ordering Curbside if you don't answer the phone? Been outside waiting for 10 minutes and calling.

This location quality is hit or miss depending on what day you come in. Today I was even told they do not accept dollar coins as payment... these are legal tender. How do you stay in business turning away cash customers? read more

This guy in the back won't stop complaining about how he's "Not making our food" and has been making rude remarks about how we just interrupted his relaxation. this is an awful display of customer service. I'm disgusted with his attitude and the way he has made me and my friend feel. Don't come to this tropical smoothie. The employees seem completely irritated with our presence and the food / smoothies are mediocre to say the very least. If I could give a 0 star I would. Im disappointed read more

Fast & friendly service. One of the better Tropical Smoothies in my opinion. Picked up a Muscle Blaster + whey before working out and my dad got a Ginger Glow. "Due to short staff we are only taking online orders." -Management. This was fine, we were going to place an order and have that be fine. We walked in and one young man asked us "Do you have an online order?". We responded with "No but we can place one." Then one young lady said with a snarky tone "We aren't accepting any orders right now." Confused because then why are the doors unlocked and open to the public? Super unprofessional and rude. read more

I'll typically give teenagers the benefit of the doubt, not here though. The oncoming 3pm crew kept arguing about who was going to make my simple peanut butter banana crunch flatbread. After five minutes of arguing, I watched one girl put gloves on and proceed to push the trash down into the trash can and then touch my flatbread with the same gloves. Straight into the trash for me once she was done. read more

There smoothies here are not that good . Unless it's the co-workers that do not know how to make a smoothie . First smoothie was a Kiwi Quencher and it tasted like straight strawberry's I was spiting out seeds in my mouth . I called the store 3 times and no answer . When I called back someone answered and said that they had just got there to work and told me to wait ....As I was waiting the phone hung up . I called again to Speak with a manager but there was not one ??? So I spoke with a Supervisor Leasia . she said she would remake my smoothie for me ....I came back to get a smoothie remake and got a different smoothie instead as well... I got mango magic and the second one was bubbly , watery , tasted like yo-gurt!! NO mango at all what so ever . I will NOT be going back . read more

This was my first time coming to this location with my godmother. Unfortunately the guy at the register messed my godmother's order after verifying what was on it twice with her. Luckily I was careful to double check my order as he almost forgot my husband's smoothie. Oh, and I recommend you take your receipt, you may need it. Other than the service, and he was only 2 weeks into the job, the food and smoothies were good. read more

First off when we walked in it was so small there was no where to sit. We ordered out drinks and food no problem. I asked the white girl making our drinks if we can have the leftover she said yes. The manager, I assume, had an attitude from hell talked about all the employees that worked there how they were gonna have a rude awakening on Monday. Yelling at other employees. She told the white girl we don't give out extras they got to pay for the cup! Any other tropical smoothie would have given it to me no problem co side ring my fiancé is on a liquid diet and throw it out anyways what is the problem?! Then some kid/boy who was behind the counter keeps eyeballing me! Not Ohkay! Will not be back and calling corporate! read more

This location is full of unprofessional kids who use profanity while making smoothies and play fight. Today was the last straw when I went in to have them tell me that every tropical smoothie in Virginia Beach was not taking cards, cash only. I walked into the Tropical Smoothie in Kemps River today and immediately thought, "Oh great... I'm gonna be waiting forever for my food. The place was PACKED. I briefly thought about going somewhere else for lunch, but then I would have to walk allllll the way back to my car and drive somewhere else. I decided to stay and order. I ordered a hummus wrap and an island green smoothie. Within minutes, I received my order! I did not expect to get my order that fast!! My meal was excellent... I love tropical smoothie cafe and I regularly visit the one in my hometown. I always customize my smoothies adding extra this or that. I couldn't help but notice that there was a lot of smoothie leftover in my blender after he handed me my cup. Like a lot.
