I popped into Tropical Smoothie Café and got her the children's strawberry banana smoothie. She loved it, and it fit our intake needs for the morning. I also got myself a smoothie off the regular menu; it was huge and very delicious. I was surprised to see that they actually have a full menu, since I've always seen the sign, but never stopped in. I got my order took one sip out of the smoothie and then reached for the bag with my sandwich and it had no heat on it. I opened it and their was no chicken inside and the cheese was dried, definitely old and not prepared fresh. The cashier called the owner and he asked her to remake it I said no I didnt want it remade. Visited this location twice while in town for work. There was a friendly team member who took my order quickly, but they were swamped with orders and multiple people waiting for their own orders. Smoothies were delicious and my wrap was great too. Maybe they need more staff, as I waited about 15-20 minutes for my order to be ready. read more

Disappointed with the customer service experience at this location. I placed a large online order (approximately $150) scheduled for 7:45 AM pickup on Tuesday, June 3rd. I submitted it the day before to give the team ample time. On Tuesday morning at 7:00 AM, I called to confirm the order and request a few additions. The staff member who answered told me to call back at 9:00 AM--despite my explaining that the food was needed for an 8:00 AM meeting. She repeated that I had to call back at 9 and abruptly hung up, twice, with a noticeably condescending tone. When I arrived at 7:45 AM, the order was still being made. I understand it was a large request, but given the advance notice, this level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication was disappointing. Tropical Smoothie is one of the best smoothie places I go too. They always have fresh fruits & vegetables. They do not use flavored syrup as a substitute to for fruit. They do use a coconut cream for the coconut flavor. They also add turbinado to the smoothies, you can request not to have it added. This particular location will get a 5 rating. It is independently owned, every staff I have encountered thus far are friendly & provide a high level of customer service. I also ordered a Carriben Jerk wrap which I didnt take a pic, I asked to turn it into a bowl & they did that with no problem. They sell these flavored straws Lime or Strawberry, I purchased the Lime one & it was good however, definitely full of sugar, I'll stick to a regular straw. Make sure to download the Tropical Smoothie app which allows you to order your items in advance, you will get rewards & the option to have them bring your smoothie to you curbside.. I got me a free smoothie for signing up. In addition, they have a Smoothie Happy Hour from 7am-9am all smoothies are $4.49. You can order 2 one for breakfast & one for lunch. If Order food with a smoothie & you get a small discount for the combo, at the end of every receipt complete the survery & you can get a smoothie for $1.99. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My husband used to get us a smoothie from this establishment every Saturday. On 3 separate occasions our smoothies weren't made correctly. Been going back and forth with corporate (which has been no help) since August for a refund. The owner called me today & told me there's nothing she can do & that I should've called when it wasn't correct. I did that and they didn't answer that whole day. She m said we should've brought it back. We also did that and was told they couldn't do anything about it. Disheartened by the rude treatment I received by the cashier named Cheyenne. She argued back and forth when I looked at my receipt and noticed she placed an up charge for heavy granola instead of light granola. Instead of her just fixing it, she assertively told me that she heard me say heavy granola. It was such a scene that my husband had to jump in to explain that now we're not just talking about granola, it has become disrespect towards the customer. STAY AWAY !!!!! This location is horrible. This lady was so rude and condescending. Had a nasty attitude. There was a little language barrier because she was foreign and I had a hard time understanding her and she caught a nasty attitude. It's funny because I was being patient with her! I grew up in NYC around all different cultures and usually don't have a hard time understanding people, even with a thick accents so it was interesting to see her get so upset when she could barley speak clearly . So I don't ever like to rate someone low but here is my honest review. This is a very commercialized chain so the menu reflects the typical American diet. Smoothies are filled with sugar and marketed as healthy. To be fair I ordered a vegan detox smoothie and I added plant protein. This tasted so bad and artificial I was unable to finish it. I also ordered a hummus wrap and I asked them to remove the cheese and ranch to make it vegan. The location is convenient in comparison to the other local smoothie places in Henry County. The pricing is fair and they offer deals during certain hours. Been coming here for a few years and the only time it seems to be somewhat decent and not too long of a wait is when the owners are present. I dropped my granddaughter off and ran into Publix, finished and she still hadn't received 1 smoothie. She waited a total of 25 min. Which is unacceptable. I don't like to even patronize unless the owners are present, due to most times employees don't even acknowledge you walking in due to them being on their phones. Fist of all this location never gives you the right smoothie and the Indian man at the front is rude as hell. He'll take your order and not put in order for your food so when you get there you have to order again. Very good smoothies here. This is the only location I've tried but I am hooked on their Acai Berry Boost smoothie. It's delicious and very refreshing. I ask for no bananas and extra strawberries for no additional charge. They offer add-in supplements like fat burner, energizer, multi-vitamin, vitamin B12, and a couple others just for $1. I recommend the energizer, it really does get me going for the day. The service here is okay, they got my order out within 5 minutes. Disorganized and Disgusting! As I walk in I see multiple orders being prepared by someone who appears to be the manager ( he is not in wearing a franchise T-Shirt). He appeared to be helpful but not clear on what goes with the order or what is missing. It was well past lunch time so I was curious why it was so crowded. As I place my order, I ask if they can put the smoothie in a cup with a straw( a tumbler similar to a Yeti ) I brought into the store. The cashier proceeds to ask for a discount even though it's not a Tropical Smoothie Cup. I did not want the discount, I just wanted to use my cup. The manager agreed at no additional charge. There is a small window where you can see what's going on the the kitchen area. I saw my smoothie being made, I saw the employee pour the smoothie in the cup I provided. There was an overflow of the smoothie, the employee placed the top on the cup and then used a dirty cloth to clean the outside of the cup, the mouth of the cup as well as the straw!! As I watched in absolute horror, the employee handed me the tumbler as if what she did was okay. I asked the employee to pour out the smoothie, and please give me tumbler back to me. I did not want my money back and I didn't want anything else from them. I will NEVER, return to this location! read more

Terrible location! Waited 40mins for 2 sandwiches and 2 smoothies. My smoothies came out one by one and then one of my sandwiches (finally after asking 4xs about my food, the last sandwich came out). Went to visit a few months ago. Food and smoothie were good but service was terrible and very slow.

I asked for a sugar free smoothie but instead I get a full on diabetes smoothie but the customer service was friendly.

This location is not following Covid protocol. I have been in this cafe several times and witnessed the employees preparing food and not wearing masks. There is an older couple that owns this cafe and they are not present on the weekends and that's when the staff runs amok. They are laughing and playing around with each other. Once, I even saw an employee eating , get up, prepare a smoothie,, and go back and sit down to keep eating and staring at her phone.. I even asked that they wear a mask while making my smoothie. (They have the mask under their chins!). I even called corporate but nothing has changed. Be prepared to drink or eat and your own risk if you come to this cafe on the weekends. read more

Today I tried the Avacocalada smoothie...did I spell that right? I'm not quite sure. But you see it had avacados and coconut in it and fresh greens. My favoritr thing about this place was it tasted like a real smoothie with few artificial ingredients. They had a lot off great options and I was pleased that I tried the featured one. All that aside, it's in the shopping plaza next to the Public on Eagles Landing Parkway. Very easy to get to and it was small but cute and cozy inside. They have quite an extensive food menu with tacos that looked really fresh and healthy in the picture but I did not try any today. The food looked worth a shot though. I will try one taco or two on my next visit. Lastly four stars because the price was great, but I couldn't give 5 because I felt the service was a little too slow. I drove back to the location and asked for a refund because at this point I don't want it. The employee said she didn't know how to do a refund on an online order. This is totally unacceptable!
