My online smoothie order was incorrect. I have been ordering this same smoothie multiple times a week at the same location. The smoothie was an açaí and blueberry drink and had NO purple-blue color at all. The Employee who made it argued with me that it was 100% correct. She was nasty and remade the smoothie angrily, and it was still wrong. Her name is "Erin". A $15 smoothie order should be correct. She made no attempt to make me a happy customer. read more

Scratched an itch, but I found the smoothie to be rather bland (I don't remember the name, but it was some peanut butter option). I ordered the chicken quesadilla for my kiddo and it was thin, but my kiddo ate it and it came with a banana side which was perfect. After a high calorie lunch, I came in for a late night smoothie call. I've been here once before - ordered a Detox Island Green smoothie that time. It tasted healthy, but oh so good too. I could feel my arteries unclogging, fat evaporating, and skin getting that "I just came back from a tropical vacation" glow. Magical. So I needed that experience again. This time I decided to try the Sunrise Sunset smoothie. It's packed full of delicious strawberries, pineapples, mangos and orange juice. Drinking it is like being on vacation except you're not. Exactly what this California transplant needs when the forecast says "snow on the way." Of course, I took the hubby along too. Like any good American he needs to get something, anything with peanut butter so he ordered the Chia Banana Boost which has banana, chia seeds, almonds, peanut butter, whole-grain oats, cinnamon, dates & coconut. Definitely not an allergy friendly choice, but he let me take a few sips...wow! So good. Let's face it. This place gives Jamba Juice a run for its money. Smoothies are thick, not watery. They don't go heavy on ice. I hate too much ice. Just ruins the entire experience. And you know it's a good smoothie when you have to work to get it through the straw. Lots of fresh fruit. Can't say this for all of the locations, but at least at the Highlands ranch location the last 3 times I've went in to pick up my online order, they've messed up my açaí bowl. It's only granola, coconut chips, and then adding Nutella. All I'm adding is Nutella and I'm getting an açaí bowl with nothing on it. Last time I went in I told them it was missing coconut chips, which it already comes with, and the staff apologized and one worker told the other they forgot to put them in and they laughed. It's not funny when the staff is absolutely incompetent and act like nothing happened. This is so sad because the food quality is really good, just terrible staff choices recently. read more

Pretty nice smoothie joint. Grossly overpriced just like all the others with drinks costing about $6 give or take. They only come in one size too. The ingredients are quite healthy and make for some pretty tasty drinks. They've also got a lot of sandwiches and paninis. Most of which are vegan friendly and sound quite appetizing I was disappointed to find that the cups and straws were not compostable. Most smoothie shops are doing this and they really should follow suit. read more

This place is really consistently good. The food looks amazing however I haven't tried anything except some of my kids' cheese quesadilla but it all looks delish. The staff are always young and adorable but professional, I have been to two of their locations and it was both similar with staff. Music is perfect for ambiance and the smoothies are really amazing. I have one 3 times a week if I'm being honest... Chai banana blast with no chai seeds, extra peanut butter and rolled oats this store is clean and inviting. read more

We were pleasantly surprised to see their extensive food menu in addition to the smoothies. Our family ordered the Cuban sandwich, chicken quesadilla, club sandwich, and peanut butter banana flatbread and everyone was happy with their meal. Our teenagers got the muscle blaster and sunshine smoothie; island detox greens was also delicious. Place was spotless and had a nice beachy feel. Great friendly service. Easy parking. I eat here quite a bit and usually have no complaints, my issue isn't really with Tropical Smoothie Cafe itself but how their deliveries are done. The past two times I ordered for delivery through their app I received my smoothies but not the food that was supposed to come with it. The door dash driver forgot to grab the food both times and they had already received a tip from me. This is really disappointing because there is no way to contact DoorDash so I have to contact tropical smoothie and wait a few days to get money my money back when a manager is working. It would be nice if someone could just redeliver the food. read more

Very disappointed with curbside service. Ordered a smoothie for my sick toddler and lunch for myself. (We also had a sick baby in the car.) Waited over 10 min for our curbside order. No one answered the phone when we called. We went in and our food was just sitting behind the counter. The only reason I ordered from there was because of curbside. Beware!! These kids have ZERO ability to multi task or manage the order of importance! I feel bad because I know every where is short staffed. But I've been coming her 2-3 times per week since the location opened and the customer service is declining QUICKLY!! I always order ahead and give 15 minutes even though they say it will be ready in 10. Today I got there in 15 minutes just to stand in the lobby and watch customers order and leave with their smoothie before my order was even made. Once the order was made, I watched it just sit I. The blender and be ignored again, as other customers were passing through. Not to mention that the unsanitary lid fell into the blender with my smoothie and the employee just got it out with his bare hands. Order placed on app 12:44 Received 1:10 I scheduled my lunch around your time frame and I'm still inconvenienced by this staff over and over. Maybe the noticed I was waiting for a while. Love this new location in Highlands Ranch I have been a fan of tropical smoothie for years and to have one this close to home is amazing. The staff are amazing! Although you can tell some are new and trying to get the hang of things they are all friendly and willing to help when needed. At this point I have tried a large amount of what there is to offer on the menu and it's all great! I work a pretty physical job and eating out normally makes me feel tiered or weak after lunch but every time I have had lunch here I have felt amazing the rest of the day! I honestly love this place and because of the quality of smoothies I can't see my self going back to Jamba Juice. I highly recommend the açaí berry boost if you ever have the chance to stop in! We used to love this place. My wife and I would come here weekly to support our local smoothie shop one day when our normal store was closed. We decided to stay due to the fact of the staff that was working at the time we're so friendly and nice. It became a fun place for us to go and we would bring our friends. This all changed a couple months back when we came in to find out the manager and all the staff were no longer there. Ever since then it has really gone downhill. There's no one left it seems from that staff and the new staff isn't friendly and never seem to get the orders right. We usually don't write reviews and negative ones but we really think it was a mistake to let the other staff leave. We don't even bother coming anymore, and go to the jamba closer to our house. Hopefully you can get a different staff in and we can return. read more

I just ordered two smoothies, a chicken wrap, and a quesadilla. I ordered for curbside pickup. When I arrived I called the store to let them know I arrived. The app said it had been ready for a couple minutes.The lady that answered said she would bring it right out. There were 4 employees inside that I could see with no customers. I waited about 10 minutes. And decided it would be much faster to walk in and grab it. When I walked in no one was doing anything work related. All I heard was chatting. I said I ordered ahead to a smaller brunette lady. She grabbed my bag and one of my smoothies along with a bag of chips and handed them to me. I told her that I ordered two smoothies. She looked at my receipt and turned around and grabbed it then handed it to me. I walked out. My chicken wrap was far from full of ingredients.. it was also sopping wet. To say the least, I spent $24 on 2 smoothies is what I'd felt like. Also, if you don't want to bring the ordered items out to the customer, then don't offer curbside pick up. For having 4 employees in the store and no customers it wouldn't seem like such a big deal to walk a bag and a couple cups outside... I come here for the food menu. Since I've been stuck working from home, this has become my favorite takeout place for lunch lately. This Place has a Happy vibe and good service. I also tried the Blimey Limy smoothie and I enjoyed it a lot, but I'm not really a smoothie fanatic. Just FYI. My favorite thing here is the chicken pesto wrap.
