Not just a smoothie place! They have bowls, wraps, sandwiches, and salads. Most smoothies are around $8.50, but if you buy a food item, you can add a smoothie for 5.99. A friend got a yogurt bowl, it cost around $10. She said it was yummy, but not worth that much $$. The place was packed at 3pm. Servers weren't interested in being nice or friendly, but straightforward and got things going. Bathroom really needed some maintenance. Taste wasn't necessarily impressive, though I appreciate the variety. read more

Great combination of ingredients, friendly service and a nice bar space to sit and enjoy your choices. However, the smoothie was made with so much ice, it diluted the other flavors. While the bowl tasted ok, the presentation wasn't fantastic. Too, the yogurt base was not blended with peanut butter and honey as advertised. These were all separate and thrown together a bit haphazardly. Great concept store, but just too much of a fast food feel for me. read more

I've never heard of this chain until their recent open in Glendale. Love a little shop like this. It offers smoothies of course, but beyond that you'll find plenty of options for wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads and salads. This location is bright, airy and clean. It's more of the grab-and-go type place, but there are a few options for seating if you'd like to eat in. We were looking for a quick lunch so we stopped in to browse the menu. In the end, both my husband and I went for a wrap. Each wrap came with a side of choice - kale apple slaw for me and chips for him. Together, the two meals (without drinks) were roughly $20. I went with the Caribbean jerk wrap, and ooooh did it have a nice kick to it! It's more like a burrito, filled with grilled chicken, plenty of white rice, black beans, roasted pineapple salsa (yum), romaine lettuce, cheese, and a jerk sauce. If you like the spice, you'll like this one. It certainly left me full and satisfied. Likewise for my husband, as he really enjoyed the buffalo chicken. I gave it a three stars however I love tropical smoothies that's why I gave it three stars but the people that's working there cussing loud messed up a person order the worker didn't care clearly said it out loud. The sink is over flowing with dirty containers. Also the customers, smoothie were running over outside of the lid. They didn't clean it off before giving to the customer. My wife didn't want anything I did because I like the smoothies, but if it wasn't for that, I would've left out of there just like she did. i'm editing my review because I taste my smoothie. I came here on 3/8/25. The people on shift were left without a manager and it showed. Possibly some of the slowest service I have witnessed from a chain restaurant. I ordered ahead and then still had to wait 50 minutes when I arrived at the store. 5 employees but none of them had urgency. I think if they invested in a manager to let them know how to run efficiently people would be more satisifed with this location. It seems like it everyone's first time on the job. And their first job ever. Our smoothies were on the counter and we asked if those were ours...the employees said no...and then they were our smoothies, very melted. I had very high hopes for this place. It was a new place in my neighborhood. They only have one size and the smoothies are expensive. The staff is very kept to their self. I wish they had more sizes. I just wish that I could see the food like at Starbucks. It just feels like it is a low quality place with good decals. I see the staff in uniform walking around and it is very unprofessional. God I love Tropical Smoothie. The owners, Jim and Maria are a joy to be around and I can just tell they're wonderful people just by the few interactions I've had with them. I've come here everyday since open so far, and I gladly hand my money over every time. I could go broke dining here, it really is amazing. The staff here is amazing too. One time I went in, a very nice young man offered to help me take a big order into my car, and even closed my car door! I'm so glad they finally opened a TSC near where I live.
