This place is the worst Tropical Smoothie I have ever ate at. All teens working here and the food is made sloppy, they don't know the ingredients that go on their own damn sandwiches, they don't even know to make the food warm, and are very rude to customers. Do not eat here people, they take your money and the food service and quality sucks!!!! They will not say they made it wrong and argue with the customer and not remake the food item that they did wrong!! Go somewhere to another Tropical Smoothie as you will regret this place!! I visited the Beavercreek location on 11/12/2024. The service was good, my order accurate, and the staff demonstrated teamwork. This review would ordinarily stop here. However, what transpired next deserve recognition. My visit was around 3pm. At 6:30pm my husband received a call from my phone(I was standing behind him in our home). He dismissed the call, and I searched for my phone. The caller called back. It was Gracie from Tropical Smoothie. Apparently, my phone had been found on the floor several hours earlier and Kaylee placed it in a safe place near the register. During that time my husband had placed a text message to me which showed up on the home screen. With it being over 3 hours since the phone had been found, a break in foot traffic, Gracie decided to try something new. She reached out via my husband text message. Which lead to me being reunited with my cell phone (I mainly use a landline). I arrived at the store and was greeted by a wonderful, kind, and honest group of young people, Kaylee, Gracie, Addison, and Leo. These individuals have renewed my faith in the younger generation for going above and beyond what was necessary in this situation. Thank You!!! read more

I stopped in here for what I hoped would be a heathy lunch. I got the hummus bowl and the kale carrot salad along with an orange glow smoothie. The bowl was pretty good. The slaw was absolutely drowning in dressing, so I only ate about half of it. It would have been good with half or less of the amount of dressing. The smoothie was good but super sweet, so I wondered if they added sugar to it. I went and asked the cashier and he said they just put what's listed on the menu plus water and sugar. How much sugar I asked? A jaw dropping ONE FOURTH OF A CUP OF SUGAR in each smoothie. Wow. In small print on the menu, it does say that sugar is added, but not how much. Restaurants are always trying to hide junk in our food it seems. If I go there again, I would definitely ask for no sugar to be added to my smoothie. Fruit is sweet enough for me. They have several other healthier options. Healthier than the run of the mill fast food place anyway. I would try it again and order something different. read more

My kids and I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe, but it is very much worth your time to drive to a different location. The first time we stopped at the Beavercreek location, the smoothies tasted watered down. Ok, but far from great. Today, we went in for 4 smoothies and waited OVER 30 minutes. Even worse, when the smoothies were finally brought out, there was no "Thanks for your patience", or "Sorry for the wait", or anything. Employees looked busy (5 of them?), but I don't know what they were doing. We come from soccer practice and it would have been faster to drive across Centerville to get our smoothies closer to home. They did taste good once we finally got them. read more

Overall I love this place! the employees are usually very kind to me and the smoothies are great. My favorite smoothies are the Bahama Mama and Mango Magic. Great place to go to when your sick or what something to eat that's cheap but ins't fast food. read more

My husband and I come to Tropical Smoothie Cafe (near the Kroger plaza off N Fairfield/Dayton-Xenia)- situated in a small plot where Blockbuster used to be- whenever we're too lazy to make healthy smoothies. Mind you, smoothies here aren't necessarily HEALTHY (it's actually, likely, the opposite), but they're pretty decent for $5 for a large. We've also gotten sandwiches, wraps and kids' meals here and everything has been satisfactory. Can't say anyone's ever messed up my order or made something completely unsavory. read more
