I know there's parking in the front but it's limited since it's only street parking but if you drive into the small alleyway into the back, you will be able to find a few more parking spots there. Everyone was super nice. One of the employee employees from the back explained why they didn't have Dungeness crab and he was super sweet about it. And then the cashier in the front was very helpful with the recommendations. Instead, I got 2 pounds of crawfish in one of their sauces. Dude, they're crawfish are so fresh and fat. I appreciated that I was able to pick my own. Everything turned out amazing. I will definitely be back.

There's limited parking in the back of the building and only big enough for smaller compact cars. They have several buckets of fish sitting on ice chips, lining the middle of the store. A couple live tanks against the wall. Decent variety. When I was choosing my fish from their ice buckets, I thought they looked a little extra slimy but against my better judgment just gave it a shot anyway. Took my catfish to the kitchen to request it be fried. Within a couple hours of eating, I got the worst food poisoning I've had in a very long time. This was such a disappointing experience and now I'm sick as a dog. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

This second visit, we also stocked up on a bunch of mangoes and ube ingredients, planning to make something different next time. The store itself is small but well-stocked. There's even a small deli inside. I noticed quite a few products and canned goods here that I've never seen at Vietnamese supermarkets like SF. The seafood and meat section seems to be one of their main strengths because it takes up a large area and everything looked pretty fresh. For dry goods and pantry items, prices are worth comparing with other Asian markets. Some Asian instant noodles and rice I saw were slightly more expensive than H Mart. Overall, even though the store isn't big, it carries most of the essential items you'd be looking for. Island Pacific Supermarket and Seafood 3300 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807

I can count on Island Pacific to have the quality milk and OJ I need as well as the Asian produce and ingredients. Their prices are reasonable and their meats are better quality than the neighboring competitors, so, I will keep coming here.

This Seafood City…read morehas a Red Ribbon located inside and has a huge parking space so parking is not hard to find. It's also located near a lot of other Filipino establishments which is always super convenient for Filipinos who wants to grab their groceries, dinner and breads in one area. This Seafood City is very organized and super clean. The employees were very friendly when we visited and were all busy working. What I really liked about this location was that it was not that busy, but it could be we came when there weren't a lot of people shopping. Parking is never a problem at any of the Seafood City locations because just like this one, they have a huge parking lot, so there's plenty of parking. They're also open everyday, they have all your Filipino food ingredients here. I wish I lived close by because I would stock up on ube ice cream for days, but it would definitely melt by the time I get back to Bakersfield.

Seafood City Market…read more This is a review for my experience shopping at Seafood City Market in Carson, CA. WORDS TO DESCRIBE: Seafood City Homey, bustling, lively, community driven, diverse, colorful, full in flavor -It is a market specializing in Filipino/Asian products. It carries fresh produce, meat/seafood, and your favorite ingredients needed to create your Filipino family dishes. There is a Grill City restaurant in the store, where you can select your meats and sides, as well as tables and chairs to dine in there. PRODUCTS; They have all of your Filipino family fiesta needs in the store. We often go there to get fish-tilapia and have it fried. It does take awhile, but it's worth it. My favorite items to purchase are their vegetables, as well as my favorite snacks. My go to snacks: SkyFlakes: buttery, simple crackers...it's basically the Filipino version of a Ritz Cracker Mang Tomas Sauce: Our all purpose sauce for meats Banana Ketchup Shrimp Chips Kopiko coffee candy BEER: Filipino beer: San Miguel or Red Horse All in all I enjoy going to Seafood City! I come here for all my grocery needs! I also love that there is a Jollibee and Filipino bakeries adjacent to the store! Go shopping and enjoy the taste of the Philippines at Seafood City! Mabuhay!
