I was greeted by super friendly staff, and ordered the curry goat lunch special. For about $12, I thought it was a SOLID deal. The goat was tender and flavorful, and the gravy coated the rice so well (you can ask to adjust the amount of gravy). I'm drooling just thinking about it again. I devoured that plate, and picked up a beet root juice to go. Small local spot that's totally worth stopping by if you're in the area!

The gospel music was playing (which I like) and the wait staff were nice. I wanted a combo meal, but they didn't serve that and had to get separate plates of oxtail & jerk chicken. The food was amazing. The jerk chicken was tender, had that deep smoky flavor and was spiced well. $8! What a deal. It comes with a side of rice & peas and cabbage. The oxtail was fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious. We had a beef patty that was good also. If I'm in that neighborhood again, I'll definitely stop by. Price: $25

Ambiance was cool as well; it looked like there was a downstairs area but I just came for pickup.

Overall, it was an okay experience.

There were two young ladies standing behind the bar but no one greeted us. We stood by the door for maybe 5 mins before we were acknowledged and asked if we wanted to sit a table or the bar. It took another 10 mins or so before WE had to ask for a menu. After that, the young lady that served us was good and personable. The ambiance in here is pretty chill. They had a DJ that played a good mix of music. They also have a bunch of games like jenga, giant uno, connect four etc. They have happy hour M-F 4-7pm. $5 shots, $8 rum punch and margaritas (+ $1 per flavor), and $10 L.I.T, $10 wings & fries and $12 shrimp & fries (+ $2 per flavor). Drinks: We did the margaritas which are $8 +$1 for flavors. We had the passion fruit, mango, and raspberry flavors. Passion fruit was my fave, mango was a tad bit sweet but when I asked the server to add a shot to fix it, she did. Food: we had the lemon pepper and buffalo wings and fries. The wings were good but the lemon pepper flavor was light and just sprinkled on. The crab legs were really good! It's cooked in a curry sauce, I just wished they actually served it in the sauce. I had to ask for melted butter. We weren't really hungry but from the few things I had, it seems their food is good. I would go back to try some more menu items.

So disclaimer my review is strictly based on an online order. I haven't visited this establishment in person so I can't speak on service or presentation. But now on to the food... I ordered their infamous jerk chicken sandwich & oxtail Rasta pasta. So for starters the sandwich appearance wise looked sloppy. It gave sloppy joe & my food was cold. Now for the taste it did not wow me. Jerk chicken was flavor less & bland did not taste like authentic jerk chicken should. I did like the Cole slaw but that was it. The sandwich was dry too. Now as for the oxtail the meat was tough & not tender as I'd like it to be. I also did not receive much meat, I was given bones. Which is unfortunate bc a lot of ppl spoke about how great ry ry food is esp their oxtail. But I can make better oxtail than this. The pasta was good but its pasta if you mess that up, you shouldn't be in the kitchen. So furthermore I was very disappointed I was not impressed by meals, I will not be ordering again in the future.
