this place would probably be great aside from the fact that I have only been here two times in my life and am a local, have lived on johns island 15 years and am from James island originally, and the guy who runs it has been very rude both times. He's very cold and aggressive acting, i brought my seven year old here and he made us both very uncomfortable and both times it just seemed like it was because he was in a very bad mood, no clear reasoning why. But anyways, just a warning for those thinking of visiting. Otherwise the place is pretty!

Ca-Ching! Trophy lakes is one of the best disc-golf courses I have every played. I know that some of the purists, feel that disc golf should be free, but the $6 fee at Trophy Lakes was entirely worth it. They had Red, White, and Blue tee boxes, with red being easiest and blue being hardest. We played white, and that was challenging enough. Beware the water hazards! Yes, I dropped more than one of my prized pieces of plastic in the lake. Fortunately, one disc was in reach and only cost me the penalty stroke. This is a combination water skiing and disc golf enterprise, and run by a really nice crew. Whether you are flying on the water or around it (hopefully!), you will have a great experience. They also have a thoroughly-stocked pro-shop with a wide variety of discs, and even offer golf lessons at reasonable prices. As usual for disc golf, there was a friendly group of players on the course when we were there. Why would anyone pay more than 10-times as much to hit a little white ball around in the blazing sun?? Instead, you can relax in the shade of trees while you pilot plastic around challenging obstacles and enjoy the musical reward of "cha-Ching" when you sink the putt!!

Beautiful space to play DiscGolf. $5.00 for 18 holes, but if you purchase two discs, you get your round free. You are able to play at any time because they have a drop box for cash rounds. Several holes have water hazards which makes the game interesting. Write your name on the disc! If you lose it in the water, not all hope is lost; they scrub the lakes for discs and hold them for people to claim. I would like to add they have wake boarding during the day. Trophy Lakes is a must see!

Trophy Lakes has been repeatedly rated #1 slalom ski course in the world! See Water Ski magazine.

Trophy Lakes has been repeatedly ranked the number one slalom ski course in the world! See WaterSki magazine. 20 minutes sessions are very reasonably priced. The lake is designed so that the wake washes out after each pass. The well-stocked ski and wakeboard shop allows for trial of the ski or wakeboard for 5% of the selling price. The wakeboard cable park is also a lot of fun. It's within easy reach from any of the Charlston beaches.

Awesome course! Clean, well kept, good site lines, and 3 start pads. Lots of trees and around and over water. Camping and water sports too!

They have water skiing, a wakeboard cable park, SUP, kayaking, and probably one of the nicest disc golf courses in the country.

Super easy to book online (and fill out some online waivers beforehand). Each rental costs total of about $200 for a single rider. We met at a boat ramp, and there was a quick intro of how to operate the jet skis (quite easy, so no worries!). There's was a compartment on each ski to keep our phones as well but we kept our other things like flip flops, keys, etc. in his truck. The marshlands were the perfect place to ski-- calm waters and maze-like twists and turns made it really fun and easy to ride at top speeds. We spotted many dolphins as well. (You're it going to see them jump up or their faces, more like their fins, but it's neat to know they're hanging out so close-- Crazy!). For those adventurous enough, you can "jump waves," and he'll take you to the ocean and give it a go! I just watched because I was curious, but it is really choppy! Got a little nauseated, so cruising around the marshlands was definitely great :D John was super nice, looked out for us all, and was enthusiastic and funny. He took photos of us and sent them afterwards as well. And wear a bathing suit, because you're going to get wet! This was a great experience as a solo adventurer but would make a fun date or family outing too!

He provided a cart to put our alcohol in and transport it down the dock. Our 3 friends were running late, so the crew picked them up on a tender and brought them to the boat when they arrived. Very nice of them! Drew, Casey and the rest of the crew were very friendly and didn't mind our groups choice in music (ha). We ran out of alcohol half way through our 4 hour timeframe, so the crew actually offered to run to shore and purchase more for us and we could pay them back. They were truly lifesavers!! The tiki hut is sooo much fun and the big float was great. I recommend for sure!!!

I have left voicemails and texted with no reply. I saw they have an active Instagram account that they have posted pics on all week. So I posted my request on there (see pic). Instead of reaching out to me to help me schedule, they deleted my comment. Not professional at all and not good for business. If you donate a good or service for a silent auction for charity, please know that the bidder may pay full or more than face value for the item as I did. While I love giving money to charity, I was also incentivized by the opportunity to fly board for the first time. I could certainly book a session online with a credit card but there is no mechanism for this company to follow through on providing a donated service. And I don't have the time to keep calling and leaving voicemails. I am sure this was a tax write off for this company so I will be sure to report this back to the charity. Very disappointed and I truly hope this company is not doing this on a routine basis.

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY MY FAMILY HAS EVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE WITH! First off, when…read moreboarding the pontoon boat a worker informed us where the lifejackets were and where things were incase the coast guard once again pulled over one of their boats, apparently last time their boat was checked out by coast guard not enough life jackets were onboard for the current occupants. THEN, not only did the pontoon boat completely stop working after 40 minutes out on the water (out of the three hours we rented it for), but the workers (while pleasant) took almost two hours to get us back and docked. Did I mention one of them also CRASHED the pontoon boat into another boat that was docked while bringing us back?? Hardly what I would consider a light crash either! My family and I were willing to overlook the whole fiasco when they offered to give us a refund or swap out our wasted time for jet skis the next day. We happily accepted the jet skis, HOWEVER were informed the next day neither offer was possible as "the employee who offered us that was not authorized to do so," according to the manager. While the workers were pleasant enough, the manager had a horrible attitude and ended up refunding my family only 20% of the $500 rent, even though we only used the pontoon boat for 40 minutes out of 3 hours. Manager also accused my family of breaking the boat WHEN HER OWN EMPLOYEES COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK AND SAID THE BATTERY DIED BECAUSE THEY HAD WASHED THE BOAT EARLIER WHILE PLAYING USING ITS BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS AND THE ENGINE WAS OFF! By far the WORST experience we've EVER had with a company -- horrible customer service, zero empathy, and a lack of boat knowledgeable workers (by the manager's own admission). The workers themselves were at least far more friendly, but customers are punished for workers' mistakes and faulty equipment. In case a similar incident happens to you, I strongly suggest going to ANY OTHER COMPANY! When something goes wrong the manager claims ZERO fault to avoid refunding people. DISHONEST, CORRUPT COMPANY!

I have never experienced more professional, courteous, or friendly treatment! Special Kudos go to Greg Casey, the sales professional, without whom, I would not have driven the extra 80 miles to North Charleston. (There is another BMW Dealer that is 80 miles closer to me). I gave specifications for my ideal BMW to both dealerships, color, options, what I wanted and what I didn't want, figuring no one would be able to find one like that. In less than 48 hours, Greg responded with EXACTLY what I specified, including a picture of the bike I wanted! When we spoke, he offered to go get the bike and bring it to N. Charleston. I was going through a very hectic time, going on my spring ride to Kentucky, dealing with a new promotion and position at work and time was of not there. To him this was no problem, giving me all the time I needed to get my crap together and held the bike for me (with a deposit, of course) until I had time to get there and consummate the transaction!!! WOW!!! THAT, people, is OUTSTANDING! When I got there, the bike was in the showroom, with my name on it, all nice and shiny. The entire sales department greeted me at the door, as if I were an old friend! The entire process was done in a timely manner and all was explained step by step. What a pleasure. Thank you Greg, Parker and Jeff for a most enjoyable sales experience! Steve L.
