I've been a lifelong DIY guy on many projects. I had a big residential fencing job that I knew I…read morecouldn't do as well as I wanted it. I followed the old adage to get at least three bids, and among them was DFW Fence Contractor. From the start, Stacey was right there, explaining the types of wood, the merits of each type, the significance of the pole sizes and spacing, and all the other fine points. I was super impressed, and he handed me a written estimate with notes, details, diagrams, and a full breakdown of all the costs. They were expensive. The other contractors showed up (or not) to see the job. Those who did gave me a written bid (or they did not). As it was, the proposals we're all pretty competitive, but when I started looking at the materials (my experience has shown the fence rails are the first thing to rot, and once rotten, reattaching the slats becomes difficult because as I nail in one slat, three others loosen up), I realized DFW Fence Contractor uses ACTUAL 2x4s instead of MILLED 2x4s, which is very significant and distinctive from any other proposal. The more I looked, the more I decided I didn't want any other company doing this job. Suffice it to say, like so many other reviewers have said, they showed up on time, worked hard, did the job far better than expected, and cleaned up afterward. Everyone on the crew was friendly and easy to talk to, happy to help get it how we wanted it. Really, an excellent company that does an amazing job, FAR exceeding expectations. It's been up a month and still smells as good as it looks!

He was available for all my questions and the changes we made. The team that came out measured everything and did a neat and efficient job. Good follow-up by Rider and the office. We had to request that they come back up to remove some nails that were sticking out and adjust the picket on the gate. They followed up although I had to make two requests. I do have to say that they were available and responded quickly. Beautiful fence and solid experience overall.

Original Scope: HRCC added a 1,000 sq ft to my existing deck, covered both the new & existing deck with the epoxy coating, etched and stained it to look like slate. Added Scope: I had HRCC add a custom rock garden (approx. 8 tons of rock) and sod my yard with Zoysia. Schedule: HRCC was able to complete my original scope ahead of schedule. I had a party planned when I added the additional scope. Since it was the busy season, I expected the additional work to not start for several weeks however, HRCC started it the next day and finished within a week. Costs: While costs are always a factor I typically decide based on value. In my opinion HRCC provides a great value for the costs. Mark, Tracey and the rest of the ownership team were wonderful to deal with and care about their customers. Most important to me were the caliber of the people doing the work. It was very easy to tell that they took great pride in their work, were very good at what they were doing and have worked at HRCC for decades. In addition to their work the HRCC crew worked well with the other contractors I had on site i.e. Electrician, Sprinkler Technician etc. All of our friends that have seen our remodeled yard is amazed at the change and our neighbors keep stopping by to look at the work we had done. If you choose HRCC you will not be disappointed.

After repairing too many wooden posts to count, I decided to get bids on the project. My fence measured right at 290 feet and the quotes ranged from $12k to $6500. Although Hardy Fence was not the most inexpensive option, I did receive a follow up phone call from the Aaron (sales / estimator) the next day. Out of four other companies, he was the only one to follow up with me to ask for the job. After listening to what my budget concerns were he worked with me to get the price to a point where I felt good about the decision. After agreeing on a price, Aaron came back out to the house to walk the job with me and he took notes on all of my concerns and preferences. He explained what products would be used and helped me understand the processes of completing the job. His crew started working on the fence 2 days later and they were complete within 2 days. The fence looks great! I am confident that I got a great quality fence at a very affordable price. I acheived the look and satisfied my family's needs for more privacy. We look forward to using the pool with the new fence in place. I told Aaron straight up that I had high expectations. He said I would not be disappointed and I am happy to say that he and his guys delivered. They did an awesome job cleaning up and they even hauled away some extra "stuff" that I had laying around the backyard. In addition, they were able to complete the job without damaging any of the new sprinkler heads I had just replaced along the fence lines. Thank you Aaron and Hardy Fence for a job well done!
