    Great fun on State Street

This trolley is a great experience for a group of adult friends. We did it as a set of 10 neighbors as a private trolley. We got to pick 3 different bar/snack stops with some recommendations from the trolley staff on the best route, plus we brought our own drinks on board. Ended with a stop at the Memorial Union Terrace for a group photo. A great couple hours spent with friends in the Madison sunshine.

The view from the back bench one of the few seats where you don't have to peddle!

This was an awesome way to celebrate my niece's 30th bday. The staff were awesome, even got out and pushed for a big hill. We pedaled around the square stopping at several bars. The staff went above and beyond to keep the party lively.

So fun! Our group had a great time on our Pedal tav/trolly ride! My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have also done this in Nashville and it was a little better. In Madison we only had a driver -besides the 14 of us peddling of course- while in Nashville we had a driver and bartender and the bartender also had a camera and took LOTS of pictures that they later posted on FB fo free. ALSO the Nashville pub played lots of "games" like when you see someone on the streets taking a picture of you then everyone on the trolley would cheers and drink, when you came to a yellow or red light everyone would cheers again, etc. just the little things that keep everyone hyped. The Pedal tav was great here though too and Madison is so pretty it's impossible not to love it. The Pedal tav itself looked really nice and worked just fine for everyone with no issues! I would definitely go again! Also the bar it starts at is fun to drink at for a little bit too. It's older and not "cutesy" but bartenders were really nice and prices were good :)

We stopped at the Vintage and then at the Cap Tap house and then circled the Capitol back to Buckinghams where we started.

Jeff and the mechanic working that day took care of my kiddo's tire blow-out and provided solid advice on keeping it together so that he could race again the next day at a cyclocross series. They have a great selection of gear that I pursued while we were there and Jeff pointed me in the direction of a quality tire gauge to help get a more precise tire pressure. Super grateful! Definitely will be back.

The problem is there is no coordination between them which I have come to believe is due to poor management. In July I sent my Trico bike case to the shop and later, Chris confirmed by phone it was there. But when I ended 10 days of Wisconsin bikepacking there, I was unsettled for a few minutes as they couldn't locate my case. I could tell they started doubting they ever had it. Fortunately I could quote Chris's name and he happened to be present. He found the case. So no biggie. But a potential red flag? Let's move on. I left my bike to be packed up and sent home in the Trico case...along with a new spare tire, lent to me by a friend for the trip. The last thing I remember is the tire on my handle bars in front of the check-out desk and being reassured there was no need to tie it to the bike. When I received the bike, it arrived in a CARDBOARD BOX, not my Trico case. And...the tire was missing. And...a part of the front axle was missing. (which I didn't realize until after riding a week or so when my mechanic freaked out bc the fork was compressed a little) I want to be clear, there was no shipping damage to the bike; cardboard boxes are fine, but i spent $300 on a hard case and I wanted it back. I also wanted my friend's new tire back. I called Jeff, the manager, immediately after unpacking my bike. Within 24 hours, he was able to find the missing Trico case but not the tire. I could tell he doubted I had left the tire, but I sent him a picture of the tire on the bike. He offered me a used tire as replacement which I refused bc we're talking my friend's tire here. Jeff refused to send me an equal replacement. I received my case (empty), but I'm out $65 for a replacement tire I bought for my friend. Bringing up the missing axle piece would have been futile a week into this mess, so it didnt come up. MORAL: If your equipment is being handled by more than one person at Revolution Cycles, monitor that equipment. Get names. Take pictures. Ask for receipts. Keep watch. Or you may find yourself writing way too long reviews.

First of all, it was truly a pleasure to meet Remy and his staff. Everyone was friendly, knowledgable and set the tone for a fun night out on the water. The staff was super accommodating and helpful, which helped us kick back and relax. The boat ride was a blast. There's something magical about cool fall air in Wisconsin, and experiencing it on a lake is pure bliss. It's even more special while sipping on cold Wisco brews as someone else is responsible for driving ;) Make sure to stock up on plenty of drinks as this tour is BYOB. Remy hooked us up with a cooler and ice, which was greatly appreciated! There's also a stereo hookup, so be prepared to play DJ from your smartphone. This tour is something that should NOT be missed when visiting Madison!
