I frequent this range often, especially when bringing family and guests to go shooting. Out of all the ranges I've looked up in Central Oregon, this one is the best priced for the money. You get the best service from the employees. They're very knowledgeable about firearms, and they're quick, firm, courteous and professional when they do spot something that violates safety. I am an AK enthusiast, as many there are, and enjoy seeing all the great rentals to geek out at, as well as many great products for your firearm needs. Definitely give this range a shot. I had gone to this business a few years ago and swore I would never go back. They were very rude and condescending. A friend swore by them, and also purchased a gift card. So, I took him up and we went for an hour or so. It was an ok experience. Nothing great - nothing bad. But then my lady and I went a few times and to make this review quick, I now have an unlimited membership and go pretty regularly. The staff has been amazing and very friendly. They really do "sell" customer service. Sure, they are a shooting range, but their knowledge has far surpassed what I have seen at any of the local gun shops. I would highly recommend this group to any avid shooter looking for a place in the city to shoot. It is always clean and welcoming. Their rules and regulations are very fair to keep everyone safe and allow them to have a good time. Looking forward to many more pleasant visits. read more

Came here twice so far with my fiancé (who has been there several times). We love it here. The people who run this place and work here are so helpful and nice. I really appreciated how they were pleasant and helpful during both my experiences. I've never had a gun jam before, and mine jammed on the range. I was so embarrassed.... I didn't want to ask for help but didn't know what to do. The gullet was lodged weirdly in the chamber and I had never had that happen before. Within one minute a guy came out with a tool, popped it out, and then helped out a couple next door who happened to have the SAME thing happen but were apparently like me and too nervous to ask for help. I love the professionalism and customer service for sure. I have had to call them for help in regards to gun purchases, questions about a few shotguns, etc... recently and they were beyond friendly and helpful. I've had numerous experiences at other gun stores and shooting ranges where I get an "attitude" from staff - not really sure why but likely since I don't look like the gun "type". I haven't had a single issue with attitude or anything from these guys. Their super knowledgeable about their stuff too. I'll be back, and back, and back again. read more

Okay, so to start with... I really wish they had a better selection of gear to hold firearms/ammo as I was looking for a storage case but also had the intention of putting a few rounds thru my new gun. I nearly purchased a soft shell bag, but per the recommendation of the staff I will be purchasing a pelican case that's not offered here (thank you for helping me not waste that money on a purchase I'd most likely later regret). I spent 30-45 minutes tops on a lane and was charged $25. When checking out I was told it was happy hour and that was the discounted lane rate. Maybe I'm being cheap but that seems a little steep to me. Perhaps I should have planned a longer trip to take advantage of the rates. I also forget that prices keep going up and $20 bucks won't buy you what it used to... HOWEVER, when I was done shooting my new gun, one of the gentleman there helped me attach a vertical rail on my S&W 15-22. I appreciate the help as I don't currently possess the Allen wrench required to make that modification. As someone who doesn't ever get to the range (continuous traveler) and doesn't fire a lot of firearms (gun shy), I have to say I walked away happy. Decided to check this place out based on a friend's recommendation. I have to say, this is the best range I've ever been to. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn't bring ear protection, but I brought my own ammo (no handloads allowed). They had everything I needed, including targets and ear protection. When I was done shooting, I stuck around and chatted with some of the staff. Josh was awesome. He let me handle this awesome 9mm rifle--the Scorpion--which, in his opinion, is better than the MP5. I didn't rent any rifles this time, but when I come back I probably will. One of the guys helped me pick out an extra mag for my handgun. We weren't sure if it was going to cycle, so they let me go back into the range and try it out before I bought it. Of course, it ran great, and I purchased it. If you're looking for a place to shoot in Salem, look no further. I wish there were 6 stars to give. Thanks fellas! read more

First trip to Tritac shooting, highly recommended. They are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back when we come back to Salem. Came back about a year later. Different people working and they are more rude. Want to nickel and dime you. If you bring your own ammo you pay extra fee, either per hundred for every caliber or per round. Called in earlier in the week about a coupon I saw that wasn't able to get and they were rude on the phone. This was a nice range but things change. Do not recommend. We pro 2nd have a bad enough time with the anti 2nd out there we don't need this attitude from fellow advocates. read more

Best Gun Range Experience in Salem Oregon! Called in with a question about caliber restriction as far rifle calibers and could I shoot a .308, got a return call within 10 minutes from Eric and was told YOU CAN SHOOT ALL ROUNDS UP TO .337 Lapua except for steel core and the like. Visit their website you will be glad you did. I found Tritac Shooting Solutions because I was doing an online search for the best gun range, indoor shooting facilities and outdoor gun ranges. Yelp recommended this gun range with high reviews and long story short it's one of the best yelp recommendations I have ever received and not just because their are fully automatic machines guns involved. Don't think because they have one of the finest collections of black guns available for all to shoot that I would over look customer service & range awareness and safety. My critical eye was comforted by thorough attentiveness to customer safety and clean pollution free practices. These guys have it covered from Fully Auto Military & L.E.O. Style Weaponry, ammo, proshop, air quality to parking. Heck I even saw them cleaning the hearing protection. The ammo was very affordable and when you combine that with the array of membership incentives it's most likely the most affordable place to shoot on the west coast and you can trust I shoot from Mexico to Canada. My wife and I went here last week on a road trip through Oregon. I had never shot a pistol before. I've been wanting to try it out for years. The guys in Tritac were awesome, absolutely awesome. They were patient and helpful and helped me and the wife through the process of getting prepared with the safety video, signing the waivers and helping me understand how to use the gun, load it, and how to use the range in general. I shot 150 rounds through a Glock 17. I loved it. If I lived in this area I'd be in here constantly. Go there. read more

This is the best place to have a shoot without driving to far. Every time I have been I have been able to shoot without waiting .They allow ar15 with no restrictions on how many rounds you can shoot at one time like other local shooting ranges. You have to pay fee for each different ammo you being in which I feel is a little steep but what ever .better than driving to Detroit . read more

Being open til 10pm is very nice, and the ability to rent at least a dozen different types of guns is very cool. The prices were pretty reasonable, and they were cool with us bringing in our own ammo if they were out of that type.
