I started my Invisalign journey about a year and a half ago. I am happy I ended up doing Invisalign with Dr. Lue after doing so much research! The office has the state of the art iTero technology which was a game changer that other dentists did not have upon my research. I was really impressed how quickly Dr. Lue scanned my teeth with iTero and within minutes I was able to see a digital image of the before and after invisalign treatment of my teeth! Dr. Lue didn't have to use the gross putty most other dentists use to get teeth impressions to send out to a lab, instead he showed me instantaneously with the scan what my teeth would look like after Invisalign treatment. I am now completely finished with my invisalign journey and more than satisfied with the results! Dr. Lue is very attentive and will listen to your concerns. The best part, Dr. Lue completed my invisalign just in time for my wedding and all the pictures! I can't thank him and his office staff enough! This dentist cancelled my appointment 2 hours before the scheduled time. I have an emergency situation and they were unable to honor the appointment time they made available. In addition they previously called me and tried to move it the day before as well. If the front desk staff cannot do the simple work of managing a schedule why trust their dentists with your teeth? It was my first visit here at the dentist's office (keep in mind that all of the experiences that I've had before are mainly horrible), and it was one of the best experiences I've had in a long, long time. I went in Monday for a clean and whitening service, and the assistant prompted me to sit down and told me to fill out some forms, which they were very willing to explain and walk me through when I ran into any issues. Dr. Lue was also very nice, and was very patient with the process, which was, for me, an important detail. He eased me, because I was most definitely freaking out deep inside. After the process, I could see the differences drastically and the ubiquitous warm colors in the office is an absolute plus. They're really wonderful! I've been twice for a cleaning and cavity filling. The appointments started on time. I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist, but Dr. Lue and dental assistant Kay really made my visits as painless and easy as possible. I hate the drill and expressed my worries about it, and Dr. Lue was reassuring and made sure that I was numb enough before we got started. Kay is the best! She is funny, welcoming, and accommodating, and made me feel a lot more at ease the whole time. MAJOR INFECTION DUE TO BOTCHED ROOT CANAL Dr. Tristan Lue performed a root canal on my molar #19 in June 2019. During the treatment, he missed a distal root and sealed up my tooth, causing bacteria to grow along my gum and soft tissue, causing an infection so major that I had to have my tooth extracted. It is known that when a distal root is missed and not treated during a root canal, an infection will develop and spread. I had been treated by Dr. Lue six times over the past year. Each visit I complained of pain, inflammation and discomfort, and not once did Dr. Lue detect an infection. Finally, I got a second opinion. I learned that not only was the tooth Dr. Lue treated infected on the outside of my gum, it was infected all the way down to the bone and soft tissue in the root of the tooth. The tooth was beyond repair and could not be saved. I had tried to resolve this issue with Dr. Tristan Lue and the Dental Arts of Orange County, but they have proven to be deceitful, lacking integrity by acting against me, rather than trying to help me mend the situation that they caused. They have failed to take proper care of my tooth and failed to take proper care of me as a patient. I have scans and medical reports from two different specialists that prove Dr. Lue's negligence and incompetence with the root canal procedure he had performed on my tooth. I have proof of email exchanges between Agnus the administrator and I, which reveal her refusal to send me medical reports, and Dr. Lue's refusal to answer any questions I had about his treatment with my root canal. There is so much more to this story and I am willing to share all of it with you because it is my hope to save someone from the horror Dr. Lue and Dental Arts of Orange County have put me through. read more

Great dental experience from Dr Lue, as he is extremely professional and patient, he explained all the details and ease out my concern. The service he provided was great and the pain was very minimal. I had 1 filling and an oral xray done due to pain between my teeth, turn out Dr Lue found a tiny crack from the tooth I had cavity filling before. My experience with Dr. Lue and his staff was excellent. I was able to be seen immediately without having an appointment scheduled. On my first visit to his office everyone was so attentive to my needs that it helped calm my nerves. I had a terrible pain on my teeth and gums and was told that it could be fixed with a deep cleaning procedure. I've had a deep cleaning done before, but this time it felt much more comfortable than in the past. I was instructed as to what was happening through out the process and in the end was told what to do to avoid this from reoccurring. The day following the procedure I felt so much better and received a phone call from his office as a courtesy to see how I was feeling, which I really appreciated. Tristan and his assistant Kay are such an amazing team! I can't say enough good things about them + warm/friendly - they always greet me with a smile and ask how i am + professional - they are serious about their work and doing a good job. they always remind over phone and e-mail for appointments which is useful because within all the work stuff going on, it's easy to forget things like dental checkups + punctual - they are always ready to start at the agreed upon time and if they are running behind, Kay comes out to let you know and genuinely apologize for the delay (unlike a lot of practices that don't respect your time) + precise - for the two times I got my cleaning done here, Tristan cleaned through 3 times and made sure he caught everything + efficient - as long as you're on time and ready to go, everything goes by quickly. I was in and out the door in less than 30 minutes for the times i've gone in for a cleaning. Bonus story: When they did an annual x-ray for me in December 2017, they found two cavities and scheduled me right away. Because i knew it would take at least an hour, i didn't want to take a 1.5+ hour lunch break. Evenings were also booked up since December is a busy time before the holidays. They arranged for me to come in before 9am within a week. When i got there, I noticed that the office was really quiet. Although they didn't tell me this, I sensed that they came in earlier than usual to make sure I got my cavities taken care of. They are so awesome!! read more

We needed to find a dentist for our 22 yr old daughter in NY City and chose Dr. Lue's office for their location near her new job, and after talking with Kay, the office manager. Our family dentist in Maryland had done an exam and x-rays over the Holidays but did not have time to fill her cavities. Kay was very accommodating and we found a Saturday appointment that worked out perfectly. The online booking was quick and easy, they were able to fill her cavities in one visit, and did not charge us for new x-rays. I am the possibly the worst when it comes to dentist visits.. I practically have to be escorted to my appointments. That being said Tristan is a fantastic dentist. He's patient and understanding. As he's working on me, if I have any questions (who can really speak with all that stuff going on in your mouth though?) he will answer me and explain what he's doing and is always insistent that if I need to stop to just raise my hand. As much as I may dislike visiting the dentist Tristan makes each visit (for cleanings, tooth extractions, etc) comfortable and smooth. read more

Dr. Tristan Lue is excellent ! He is extremely professional and always addresses any concerns I have. I am a baby when it comes to pain so he always makes sure that I am completely comfortable and numbed up perfectly so I don't feel a thing! I have been going to him for years and I even make the trip from NJ which is an awesome excuse to have a delicious brunch or see a broadway show while I am there. I love that Dr. Lue is open on the weekends because it is very difficult to get to a dentist during the week. Dr. Lue has performed many procedures on me such as routine cleanings, fillings, as well as dental implants. And yes I have even had a cleaning done while pregnant ! He assured me of any concerns I had and of course we avoided using the Xray (just in case). Yes ladies you do need to take care of you dental health while pregnant just ask your OBGYN.
