Michael's team arrived promptly, removed the old deck, and built a new frame that is far sounder and protected than the old one. He provided many samples to help us choose the best composite plank and we were very happy with the result. Finally, he did a lot of really nice work on a railing that turned out much nicer than we had imagined. We are very happy with the end result and expect our beautiful new deck to last many years.

We recently renovated our cabin bathroom in Cazadero, and working with Bryan Walker Construction…read morewas easily the best decision we made. From the start, Bryan was responsive, professional, and totally dialed into our vision. He walked us through the process, gave clear and honest estimates, and helped us make smart design decisions without ever pushing unnecessary upgrades. The tile work turned out beautifully--we chose a deep green, and every tile was placed with precision. The craftsmanship was top-tier, and you could tell he and his team takes serious pride in their work. Our new vanity was a custom piece, and Bryan made sure the installation was seamless. Plumbing hookups, leveling, finishing details--everything was handled with care and precision. Electrical work was another big lift. Bryan's team upgraded the wiring, added GFCI outlets, new vent, and installed new sconces without damaging any of the fresh walls or finishes. They even updated the breaker box labels, which I seriously appreciated. His crew was punctual, tidy, and respectful of our space throughout--drop cloths, clean-up, the works. The job wrapped ahead of schedule and under budget, which is pretty much unheard of in remote areas like Cazadero. If you're looking for a trustworthy, highly skilled contractor who delivers on both craftsmanship and communication, Bryan Walker Construction is the one. We're already planning the next project with him--and I wouldn't dream of calling anyone else.

All that tells me is they're now out of work and desperate enough to go through 5 month old requests for quotes ... but too ignorant not to use 'not interested' as part of their reason. Unlike our previous fence which seemed mass-produced with low-quality materials, Century's team assembled each panel by hand with what looks like really, really solid and high quality wood. Antonio clearly understood our needs, gave us confidence they could be accomplished (it's a tight space), and offered options that enhanced the project beyond our expectations. He is a no-nonsense professional and his crew worked tirelessly everyday. Shout out to Carlos and Jesus. The beautifully finished product makes us happy every time we look at it. I will say that we've worked with many contractors on many projects and a running theme seems to be a real need for PATIENCE, as frustrating as it can often be. Sometimes, circumstances beyond a contractor's control make scheduling expectations difficult to keep. In our case, materials were delayed from the distributor (testing Antonio's patience, too). As such, this project took a bit longer to get started than hoped. BUT, Antonio and the office staff were quick to respond to all inquiries, and the truth is - the project was actually accomplished as quickly as promised, once circumstances allowed. The craftsmanship is suburb. Antonio won't let anything slide until it's as good as can be. And we LOVE it!

Side note; amazing how many contractors would come out and look at our wall and never be heard from again?!? Fortunately, the Mulka's came out (when they said they would), went over some ideas on how to fix the wall, took some measurements and shortly thereafter emailed us a couple of options. Their prices seemed fair, neither too high or too low, but more importantly I really liked their idea's for how to fix the wall. We gave them the green light and they started the job - long story short the wall that they built will probably be here long after I am gone? They were all about the business and very pleasant to have around. I really liked that Josh would take the time to answer my question (I find construction work interesting) and very patient when I asked for additional work and changes (fixing/updating a gate).
