"I drive fast cars, and I eat fast foods I contain…read moremultitudes" (Bob Dylan) Multitudes sure fits the goods and services available at Fini's. After all, there's not too many places out there that sell fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants, kielbasa dogs, clam rolls, and a full menu of ice cream in all of its glorious frozen variations and permutations. The grounds are eye-strikingly beautiful with flowering flats and hanging baskets everywhere you look. To the far right of the main building is a small produce store with zucchini, watermelon, onions, potatoes, scallions, beans, lettuce, radishes, and more. But the left side of that building was the primary reason we visited Fini's, because that's where the ice cream action is! Cones, shakes, sundaes, banana splits are yours to enjoy at a reasonable price and a pretty generous portion. It's always an adventure when you order a Kids sized cone, because some are scaled to an itty-bitty Lilliputian-sized portion, and some are supersized. Their $4.50 Kid cone was on a regular sized Sugar Cone and sure looked to me like more than two scoops. Our cone selections were Strawberry Cheesecake and Almond Joy. Fini's ice cream was very good- great flavor that was smooth and creamy, without a trace of ice particles. What a cool place to visit!

I will never understand why some small-business owners turn away easy local business and then…read morewonder why they eventually have to close their doors. At approximately 12:30 p.m., I called McClelland's Florist to place a $175 flower order, plus tax, for delivery to Holyoke--only about two miles away and roughly eight minutes from the shop. The owner answered and sounded irritated from the start. After asking for the street and city, she dismissively said, "We already went to Holyoke today." What bothered me most was that she made no effort to offer another solution--not delivery the next day, not an alternative arrangement, and not any attempt to keep the sale. She simply made it clear that my business was an inconvenience. As a small-business owner myself, I understand that every request cannot always be accommodated. However, there is no excuse for treating a potential customer this way, especially over a short local delivery and a substantial order. Small interactions like this add up. When businesses eventually close their doors, customers remember exactly why they stopped supporting them. McClelland's Florist has lost my business, my recommendations, and the support of another local business owner

We were tired of the resin products that only lasted a couple of years and always stopped working. We got the stone pillars pictures after he showed us some in his displays on the wonderful property where AWG is located. So many beautiful fountains plus a large selection of Koi and water plants. He enticed us further by showing us a fire feature that was and option with the fountain we got. We did the install on our own and he was incredible with walking us through it step by step. He was there when we had small or big questions and was so friendly. He takes the time to leave his customers satisfied and happy which is the hallmark of a great businessman. If you're looking for a place to visit to see the splendor he has set up or to get a fountain I cannot say enough about this place and it's owner.
