Staff was not too friendly unsure if they get burnt out with the tour. The horses looked tired and some of them look sick. My horse kept its head down throughout the ride. The one hour ride is basically sitting on the back of the horse, walking up the trail that we can see the Hollywood sign, and turned around at some point. Not worth the price you pay for. I have been coming here with my daughter for 4 1/2 years. Let me start by mentioning that this place is exceptionally clean, beautiful and horses are well trained for therapeutic riding and for regular riding. Horses are well taken care of is an understatement. Johnny helped my child from being nonverbal to talking in sentences with therapeutic riding. My daughter started writing when she was nonverbal had a few words here there very quickly through therapeutic riding my daughter started to open up and understand letters, which are placed all around the arena. Johnny's extensive experience in this field gave me hope from the day one. Johnny uses strategies and techniques to help the child increase brain activity, speech and balance. After four years, my daughter is thriving. She is talking in sentences ,has a calm demeanor ,loves horses ,can ride professionally on her own and has so much fun seeing Johnny every time. I am beyond thankful to Shadow Equestrian Center and Johnny for saving my daughter early on in her challenge with Speech. Early intervention is a key and Shadow Hills Equestrian Center is a key to success early on in any and all cases of challenge.
