Date Visited: Friday 9/10/10 (Breakfast)
I almost ate here for dinner the night before and after my somewhat expensive dinner, I suppose I would have been better off. Instead, I headed here from my hostel about an hour or so before we were leaving for Vancouver.
Tucked beside a gas station convenient store, Triple O's is a small little sit-down place that has something to offer the fast-food junkie. Even though it was morning, I had their veggie burger combo.
According to the website, their veggie burger is, "The bestest veggie patty around. It's filled with brown rice, mushrooms, onions and cheese, and topped with ranch dressing and our signature relish. " I would never say it was the bestest (and not only because that isn't a word). It was okay. The fries were described as, "Our famous fries are chipped from select Kennebec potatoes and fried in non-hydrogenated oil so they've got zero trans fat. " They were okay too. If Triple O's were in Oregon, I don't think I would seek them out BUT I appreciate any restaurant that has a veggie burger. I just hope places realize that a vegan burger can feed vegetarians AND vegans and start eliminating the veggie burgers with cheese in them. read more
