PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD RESEARCH TRIPALINK, SPECIFICALLY ON REDDIT. They never fixed my air conditioning and heating, they instead gave me a window unit after begging for a whole year. They didn't even install it either so it falls out the window a lot. I begged them for one and was just ignored over and over until finally one of the maintenance guys was like "we have a whole room full of them" so I went thru June July and August with NOTHING because they were to lazy or inept to give me air conditioning- after utilities I'm paying 1450$ but they can't give me air conditioning.. we had a break in and keys were stolen and management just brought another key meanwhile our mail has been going missing. I had a leak they kept saying they fixed, but in fact never did- destroy an appliance I had plugged in and flood the floor. I argued with Dexter on the phone until I was crying that they didn't fix the leak. They are master gas lighters. WE CALL IT TRAPLINK!

our window was shattered when we moved in - mind you we're on the ground floor and are more at risk for any break ins

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst property management I've ever come across - our floors were rotting when we moved in and the only reason they were fixed is because we called the city inspector. Our window was also shattered when we moved in. My Internet has been going out for six months and nothing has been done to fix it. My roommate had a major leak from his ceiling and it's been five weeks and the room still hasn't been cleared for him to move back in. And he's still expected to pay rent. DO NOT MOVE INTO TRIPALINK PROPERTIES!

RENTER BEWARE: They incentivize "good" reviews (see my photo of the raffle) with expensive prizes. Looking at the reviews here should tell you why they have to do so. Let me start with my 2-year experience Tldr: -Mold problem -Roach problem -Stolen packages -Poor maintenance -Very hard to contact (unless it's about renewing your lease, then they'll never stop calling) -Left my front door opened and unlocked multiple times. -I got locked out, and they responded to my emergency by hanging up twice -Poor washer/Dryer quality and always broke down -Only good thing was location, and that is how they get you. Now, let me give a full review here. I chose Tripalink because they were close to the USC campus, and the price seemed okay. Within not even 2 months, there was mold everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Everything under the bed, everything on the windows were covered. Since I was constantly busy as a graduate student, I would basically just use the apartment to sleep in, and didn't notice until it got bad. I called maintenance and told them everything. Because I had thoroughly cleaned it (hours and hours of work) they said it must not have been a problem. Like are you kidding me? It could very much be in the walls (which it was) and it could return (which it did for months). This same behavior from maintenance was repeated countless timed between me and my roommates. Never taking it seriously. Finally, AFTER 7 MONTHS, they check the walls for water and mold AND WOW IT'S IN THE WALLS. This whole time, we also have little guests in the form of cockroaches and ants constantly around. ABSOLUTELY atrocious behavior. Then they randomly had maintenance over to paint and clean, and both times, when I was living alone mind you, they left the door to my apartment completely open and unlocked. I got back home at 10PM and had thought someone had broken in. Imagine having to worry about this kind of thing happening. Once again, Tripalink never acknowledged the problem. Then once I got locked out during a holiday and so I called the emergency number they gave me for help during the holidays. I asked the guy on the line when someone would come reiterating I had work to do soon, and he was of no help. When I reiterated this point, the guy hung up on me. And then they came TWO DAYS later. I had to wait until a random tenant by chance came out 3 hours later, and when Tripalink came out two days later, they fixed the door. Fantastic. Lastly, they always try and bribe their tenants. See my "Raffle Pics" I attached. Notice how they say to post good reviews in exchange for being in a raffle. Horrible scummy company.

Amenities: the gym and the roof are nice features of the building. The roof has a beautiful view and a grill. They are also kind enough to bring your packages up to your apartment, which is really nice since outside is a pretty busy area of Ktown. Area: the area is great for social life, lots of restaurants and things to do. Staff: it really feels like they care about making this a great place to live. I have no complaints.

If you have two spaces and don't have two cars, you can always get them into your other space to avoid street parking. With meters and lots all over the area, what else would expect from the city life? It's safe here and frequently monitored by SouthPark officers as well. What I'll sorely miss about this place were the relationships that I built. I knew the entire staff and would wave, talk, and truly lean in with them all. Whether it was before/after work, going out for the night, or chatting, they were more than friendly. They became my community of friends. They felt like family. If you want a place that does not feel pretentious, has a community of others that say "hi" to you, and is close to the core of DTLA, come live here. It will be hard to find a staff that manages the building and secures it, then you will find it at ELLEVEN. Cleaning staff of what I can tell might be only 2 people do a great job of handling the occasional mess. Apartments: Well maintained, appliances are pretty good, but all compact versions as the rooms themselves are pretty small. Decent amount of cabinet space, and high ceilings so if you can make use of vertical storage, you should be in good shape. Floors are concrete so while they are easy to clean, they are also very cold. Not recommended for families due to size, but couples can make due and singles will be fine as long as you don't have a lot of stuff. Amenities: - Parking is limited to 1 space per apartment which would be one of the few drawbacks but some of the neighboring streets have free parking with only 1 day where you have to move the car for street cleaning. Streets in the area are also very safe seeming.. Building has electric car charging spots also. - Gym Equipment is relatively new, good quality and kept clean. Nothing too fancy, similar to a nice hotel. Would be nice to have 1 or 2 more items but definitely adequate for a relatively small apartment complex. Also, never busy and 24 hours (although be careful after hours as I believe the person directly above can hear the noise from the gym). Two large TV's for watching games etc. - Coffee Commissary: This place is great. While it's not part of MLofts, it is in the same building and is a good place to do work. - Pet Run: This is a secure walkway where you can walk your dog. A great idea in concept but I generally walk around the block to the grass. - Laundry: 1 washer/ 1 dryer on every floor. Seems like not enough but I've only occasionally run into a situation where I had to borrow another floor's. Laundry rooms are relatively clean (as far as laundry rooms go anyway). - Common gathering areas: Firepit, common area tables and penthouse grills are all well maintained. These areas don't seem to get much use. While they are nice to have, I think it's probably because it's a bit awkward to have a gathering or to hang out in the middle of the common where you are in view of basically everyone else that lives in the complex (unless you're into that sort of thing). The penthouse grill area is more private which is nice, but again, I've never seen a gathering up there. - Wifi in lobby/gym: This seems a little spotty, but there's general cell service in the area. Staff: Julie the Property Manager and Stephanie the Assistant Community Manager are definitely a huge plus for this place. Both of them are very responsive to concerns and will go out of their way to take care of issues. They have responded to all of our maintenance requests within 24 hours. They even move all of the packages into the locked office before they leave for the weekend and put them back out in front of your mailbox to minimize the chance of theft. Residents: Generally young professionals who keep to themselves, very dog friendly.
