I finished my journey to Shady Grove metro from Twinbrook. The glitches made a 35-40 normal trip take from 7:15a-945am. Medical Center became my solution to/from my trips. On my way back home, I was proud that I was gonna avoid a shuttle ride and started my return trip at Twinbrook. Surprise, no service and a grumpy, dismissive metro employee. By the time I reached Medical Center, I was tired and drained from an unexpected shuttle and an extended journey back. The employee at Medical Center was incredibly nice. She could sum up my exhaustion in one look. She provided the stellar service all metro employees should extend all the time, not just on a heavy repair day. She even walked me to the elevator and gave me a hug. She gets five stars. Metro needs to have live updates about delays and do a better job communicating with customers. Kindness matters.
