I've worked with all students from kindergarteners learning English to college students learning Organic Chemistry all the way to students preparing for the military's ASVAB and DLAB tests. While as a paid, private tutor, my business is new, I am not new to tutoring and enhancing one's educational experience. Beyond knowing the subject matter, I also know how to work with kids of all ages and backgrounds, and I understand what how to experiment with different learning methods until we find the right one. Every tutoring session is a judgement-free zone where failure doesn't exist, only learning and improving! All students are welcomed regardless of language barriers or learning disabilities. Not only am I available after school hours, but I'm also available all day! So whether your student is home schooled or suspended for the day and needs someone to help keep them on track, I've got your back! I believe all students deserve an equal opportunity for education, and sometimes that can't be met in a classroom setting. At the same time, I don't believe there's such thing as a "bad student", only a student whose educational needs aren't being met. Online and in-person sessions are both available to meet your student's needs and your family's budget. "Emergency" tutoring sessions can always be arranged when the unexpected arises. I've been a volunteer tutor and after-school teacher since high school, found myself recommended all throughout college to become a private tutor, and finally took the leap this year! So while my business may be fresh, my experience varies and goes back years.
