He helped me finetune my strengths and quickly identified my weak areas, giving me easy to understand frameworks for attacking them. Ben helped me gain the confidence and expertise needed to achieve my target GMAT FE score! In addition to his amazing instruction, I enjoyed working together on a personal level - Ben is encouraging, light hearted, and clearly cares about his student's success. No matter where you are in your prep, I highly recommend working with Ben!

When I contacted Ben I was stuck in the low 600s with a Q42-Q44. Not only Ben knows the gmat content extremely well , but he has taken the gmat a few times with stella scores and He has a strategy for solving any type of question the test can throw at you. His method of working is very organized where you can track every type of question and identify weaknesses, which he will help you tackle one by one and you will see you score increasing in your practice tests Working with Ben in two months I was able to score 690 with a Q47 in the Real test. He was not just an hourly rate tutor he became my gmat coach, helping me with GMAT content and with concentration and relaxation techniques for the exam, and he kept motivating me to reach my target score.

My family has had the good fortune to work with Mazor Test Prep on tutoring for the ISEE entrance…read moreexam when my children were in 5th grade and applying to private schools, on the AP exams as they made their journey through high school, and on the SATs as they prepared for college. The proof is in their success-my kids scored in the high 80 and 90 percentiles on their ISEEs, were accepted to their private schools of choice, and earned 5s on AP Physics and Calculus exams. My son is a senior, and with Lisa's guidance, achieved a 1530 on the SAT, missing only one math question-no superscore, just one test. Thus far, he has not been turned down by any of the top-tier engineering programs to which he has applied. My younger child is now working diligently with Lisa to maximize his SAT scores as he prepares for college applications in the fall. What makes this all the more impressive is the fact that both my children have dyslexia and dysgraphia-school has not come easy for them. Whether working directly with Lisa or one of her expert team members, you can expect compassion, professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to meet your child at his or level, emotionally and academically. Lisa and her team are exacting and demanding, but with an understanding that kids' anxiety levels and workloads fluctuate through the school year and need to be taken into consideration and adapted to. Working with Lisa, I felt supported as a parent, and more importantly, I knew that while my children were working hard, they too felt supported. My kids have tried preparing for standardized tests using workbooks and online/in-person group classes, but both report the one-on-one experience they have had with Lisa and her team to be the game-changer. Not only are Lisa and her team effective, they are kind! I have enjoyed all my interactions with them, and the kids do not balk when it is time to get down to work. They also feel motivated to get their work done between sessions, so they are prepared for their next meeting-with no helicoptering from me. This is how test prep should be.

She was underprepared and we only had a few months to get ready. Lisa met with my daughter 10 times over a few months and dramatically improved her scores and confidence. She did this with incredible kindness and empathy for the stress of the process my daughter was going through. I would highly recommend Lisa to any parent whose child is preparing for the SSAT (or SAT for that matter).

Beautiful clean and well kept community! Took awhile to navigate my way around the campus! Loved…read morethe library the most! Though majority of my professors here are knowledgeable, kind and active in helping out students compared to the very very few who are not capable of communicating well... this wasn't really my main issue for the low rating. I understand certain teachers teach differently just as some students learn differently. The only reason I give it a 3 star is bc they tend to get political and push negativity about certain political parties! It's pretty awkward and uncomfortable when they get upset at a student for their political beliefs. Should only be focused on the study at hand, not education based on which party is best and hinting otherwise pushing you towards their personal beliefs... unless of course your taking political science and such.

The location is tucked in the more…read moreremote suburbs between Kent and Auburn, and you get some great views of the surrounding vistas. The buildings are well kept, and the transit options for such a remote location are actually not that bad. The school seems to be pretty robust for a community college, and the testing center team was good when I visited. The only complaint I have is that there is no real natural flow of traffic and no clear sense of where you are sometimes on the campus. I got turned around several times, but thankfully we have enough technology so that we can find the bus stop to get out of here.
