The concierge was in regular contact updating me on everything from permits to installation dates, guides to my system and other pertinent information. Trinity Solar isn't the company to hire until they address several issues. You've decided to go solar to save money or eliminate your electric bills. The least expensive option is to install your system yourself, but you may not want to do it. So, you need to hire someone to do it for you. Ideally, you want someone knowledgeable in solar panel installation, understands your expectations, provides quality work and project management, respects your time and property, and charges a reasonable price. A quick online search will get you reputable companies to contact and request quotes from. We regret not doing our due diligence and looking into them. Take your time to understand what other companies offer before signing with Trinity. You'll notice that Trinity Solar doesn't appear in "best of" lists, and we know why. Our observation is that the majority of the issues stem from two problems within Trinity Solar: 1. Lack of adequate training. Many of the workers who came to our home were young and inexperienced, though always pleasant and professional. They seemed eager to learn and want to do a job they can take pride in. Unfortunately, they haven't been given the tools and training to do so. Trinity's lack of training is a disservice to its employees and customers. 2. Poor communication was evident in our interactions with Trinity Solar. We constantly needed to follow up, and the company communicated poorly with the installers. Over the past four months, Trinity representatives visited us ten times, usually correcting mistakes made by the previous crew. They often expressed uncertainty about their purpose and lacked the necessary tools. Common excuses included ignorance and Trinity's poor communication. A long-time employee remarked that the situation had worsened, possibly due to rapid growth and inadequate adaptation. Recently, Trinity Solar proudly informed us that our system was operational and generating energy. However, we still have errors to rectify, and the project's completion date remains uncertain. Dealing with Trinity Solar has become an unwanted part-time project management job that we eagerly await to be resolved. We've been transparent about our dissatisfaction with Trinity Solar's work. We've communicated our concerns to the workers who visited our home and to their concierge/project managers through conversations, emails, and photo documentation. The problems started with the installation of our solar array in early March and have continued with most subsequent work. Trinity Solar has to be tired of our complaints and requests for fixes. Is it too much to expect a quality job from a company that claims to be in the business for 32 years. - Is it odd to expect solar arrays to be installed centered, unscratched and at a reasonable height within recommended specifications? - Is it unreasonable to think the rails would be attached evenly and without damaging the wood underneath the roof? - Is it difficult to clean up after yourselves? If you've drilled through a foot of concrete, leaving debris and dust on our treadmill and damaging the mats in our home gym, why not cover up those items or ask us to do so before making a mess everywhere? - How about picking up all of the miscellaneous metal clips and tools from the yard so they don't get caught in our lawn mower? - Is it wrong to wonder why extra parts were added to our home that were unnecessary and left holes in the structure when you can make up your mind where to place them? - Why does it take days to figure out that they are all necessary and I have to wait more than a month to come back and remove them? - Why were communication cables strewn across the lawn, landscaping, and patio? After weeks of waiting, we buried the cables ourselves, knowing Trinity would cause another mess. It took weeks for them to come out to hook them up. - Is it too much to think that the crew would come prepared with enough grass seed for reseeding over a trench dug for them? Most alarmingly: Are we overreacting when the electric inspector found improper wiring? It took several tries to fix, and the inspector came out again. Trinity suggested we would have to pay for a re-inspection for our own safety. (We did not.) Many issues have been resolved, some by Trinity, some by us. Some can't be fixed without causing more damage, and others were easily rectified after must persistence on our part. When the workers noted the improvement, it justified our fight. After all that, we were asked to write a review in the phone call mentioned above, thinking it was a joke. We agreed. An email also asked us to rate how likely we would recommend Trinity Solar. The review note said, "Your feedback helps us improve the experience for future customers. We appreciate your thoughts." These requests feel tone-deaf. But I applaud Trinity if this is their way of learning from their mistakes and improving. read more

Appalling service. Cancelled 5 mins before they were due saying my roof was too flat. Young girl answering phone and leaving messages couldn't answer any technical questions. Time wasters. Unprofessional. If you are a busy person you best avoid Trinity Solar. Zero stars read more

Be advised they don't tell all the information on the tax rebate/refund. We were told that when you get the refund for the solar tax credit you must either send it to them to avoid your monthly payment going up for 25 years OR if you decided to keep the money to be aware your payment would go up. What they DIDN'T mention was if you owe the IRS tax money they will keep your refund and send you NOTHING then you just come up with THOUSANDS of dollars within a year to pay the balance to the solar company/bank. Also found this info out from a different solar company if you owe back child support or school loans that you are behind on they will also keep your rebate to pay those also. It would have been nice to know this info in advance so we could have prepared ourselves. After other issues with trinity I would not recommend this solar company. There's plenty other ones to use. read more

we were selling our home and a salesman named Dustin got my attention and began telling me about all the benefits of solar it sounded great so afte our 30 min talk i reminded him that we are selling our house. He assured me that the new owner would take over the monthly payments and that it will not show up on a title search asa mortgage, lien, or an encumberance. Well he was wrong it showed up as a mortgage and the perspective buyers refused to assume the contract, so i order to sell the house we had to pay the contract in full $22,000 at closing in order for the sale to go through.So we are out $22,000 and we had to leave them there because the relocation costs were enormous. My advice stay away from these solar companies. read more

My response is as I stated I asked Dustin Goldfarb about the solar contract showing up at the court house several different ways and he assured me it wouldn't. I noticed in your reply that you placed the blame on me,you didn't mention that Dustin Goldfarb did nothing wrong. Your basically implying that I'm an idiot and made up this entire event. Just because you claim you've never had this problem there's always a first time. Dustin Goldfarb that day and the question is how long has he been engaging in deceptive sales practices and saying what ever he needs to say to make the sale. He was well aware we were selling the house and he knew we would have to pay to sell. As I stated in my previous review he assured me that in all his years of selling solar that a buyer never refused to take over the contract because of the savings. He lied and if an amicable and fair settlement isn't reached,I'm going to check the cost WAEB radio charges for a commercial and I'm also going to check with the express times and the morning call about the cost to take an ad out in one or both papers. For you to comment in the legal field is called hearsay simply an opinion. You weren't there so your opinion means nothing.In essence you're calling me a liar. I'll have to ask a lawyer I know if that's slander. The angrier you make me the more I'll come after you. I will find away to cause damage to your A+BBB rating. I have 39 days until I start a new job. The potential damage with some luck because I know it won't be easy but I will devote whatever time required to receive satisfaction if an equitable solution is not reached. To be clear I am not making threats, I am explaining the rules of engagement. Your reply triggered my PTSD which is why I composed this reply. If you reply again my PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) could possibly be triggered worse. 80hrs a week to do whatever you want is a lot of time. I'm informing you of my approach to be fair so this unethical situation caused by Dustin Goldfarb that's been eating at me for almost 3yrs can be resolved amicably so the court can be avoided. read more
