This review is long overdue. My friends and I stayed at The Joseph on July 8-10. The Joseph hotel…read moreis worth the money. The service from the staff was top notch. When I go back to Nashville, I won't be staying at anywhere else. They made the stay very memorable. I just want to say thanks to Parker, Tony, Lindsay, Will, Kim, and Lucy for accommodating my requests. It was my friend's 40th bday and my first time in Nashville. The team sent us some goodies to the room to welcome the stay. The valet offers us umbrella for us to use because it was raining when we were there. Whenever we needed something like ice, toothpaste, shaver, etc., the stuff was delivered in a timely manner. I can't stop raving about The Joseph to my family and friends. We also ate at the Yolan for lunch and dinner. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the ambience was amazing. A little con for the Yolan, my friend didn't like their version of French onion soup, it reminded her of hot and sour soup. For me personally, I love hot and sour soup, therefore, I like the soup. If you get the opportunity to stay at The Joseph, please do. Because you will receive a 5 star hotel service worth of your money :).

I loved our room, although…read moreI was a little disappointed that we had a tub/shower combination rather than a walk-in shower. The spa was awesome and probably one of the highlights of our stay. The staff was incredibly customer-service oriented, and the body care products they provide are amazing--they smell wonderful! There's also a really cute store inside the hotel that I was excited to browse. Unfortunately, the girl working there seemed much more interested in her phone than helping or interacting with customers, which felt a little out of place compared with the excellent service we experienced everywhere else. One thing this hotel does exceptionally well is pay attention to the little details. The customer service was wonderful, and you can tell a lot of thought and money has gone into creating an elevated experience. That's actually why one small thing stood out to me: when you have thoughtful touches like a special bag for the toilet paper and another for the hairdryer, putting what appeared to be an inexpensive $18 Walmart hairdryer inside felt a little mismatched with the rest of the experience. Definitely a first-world problem, but at this price point, a nicer hairdryer would have been that final touch that matched the level of detail throughout the rest of the hotel. Overall, it was a beautiful property with wonderful service, an amazing spa, and so many thoughtful details. We really enjoyed our stay.

14TENN - Ceremony space. So beautiful

When we…read morevisited 14TENN, it was completely under construction in the dead of winter with obviously no heat or electricity. We bundled up in coats and scarves, and walked around the empty construction site at night with our iPhone flashlights 14TENN only consisted of some raw wood, a few original beams and a wonderful owner named Sean, who had no staff hired in Nashville yet. But we knew we HAD to get married there. We could see their vision and it matched ours. BEST DECISION EVER. I mean look at this place. And their customer service.. Over the top!! I could go on for days. Just know, the insanely beautiful space is just the icing on the cake. It's the people there that make this place what it is. Which leads me to our wedding coordinator Kaitlynn Montgomery. An angel in human form. This girl, y'all. I messaged her at least once a week with another ridiculous idea. And she encouraged me on every single one of them. Anyone who knows me knows how annoyingly Type A I am and how I prefer to do things myself and plan every detail to nauseam. Kaitlynn took SO much off my plate. If I asked her about something or suggested something, she had already taken care of it 3 days prior. She was always 5 steps ahead of me at all times. She single handily took my stress level down 1,000 notches on a daily basis. Every single last detail or idea that we came up with for this wedding would absolutely have never been possible without Kaitlynn. She brought it all to life. And Ellyse.. Her and Kaitlynn worked their butts off together on our wedding day and it was perfect. Every time I saw Ellyse that day, she was smiling ear to ear and it immediately put my nerves at ease. These two girls are just the absolute sweetest and SO freaking good at their jobs. Now, one of the most important guy of the night... Our alcohol and bar concierge, Hunter!! I remember calling him one day thinking, he is going to kill me and I'm about to make him hate his job I was like, So I was thinking about cocktail hour and how it would be cool to serve hand-crafted blueberry mojitos named after our dog in 150 coconut cups with stir sticks that have our dog's face on them. Oh and I want them all displayed on shelves with signs and the whole works. He was like, hell yeah, you got it. Not only that, he insisted on pulling out all the tricks. Infusing his own simple syrup with mint and having us over TWICE to taste the recipe and make sure it was perfect. He loves his job and it shows. He took full ownership of the bar and making sure we didn't even have to think about it. THANK YOU HUNTER!!! In summary,14TENN was an absolute dream come true and we cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for EVERYTHING. We love y'all!

I always pick Marriott properties because of their beds…read more I'm going to get into the bed but let me rave about the staff. This trip to Nashville was a short one because I was literally was just here a few weeks ago! Plus, I had to have a date night with my big baby in the DMV. Have to keep him happy! With game day being early and weather issues, I booked a super early flight which I knew would be problematic for check in at the hotel. While at the airport I used the Marriott app and asked if I could do early check-in with their message feature directly to the hotel. Within minutes the attendant stated there were no rooms because they were fully packed the night before. I then asked for any recommendations for diners. They responded they had one right across the street. Yay! Win for me! Upon arrival, I went to eat at the diner which was delicious and headed back over to the hotel. I tried to check-in then and couldn't but asked if they had a lounge for BonVoy members. The answer was no but to be honest they have so many lounge areas in the hotel that I felt like I was in one. Big screen T.V. Couches, it was perfect! The best part of this trip, they gave me a room at 11ish which I was able to get a nap in before the game. And they had complimentary rain coats so that was literally a life saver. This Marriott literally went above and beyond to make my life easier. I'm grateful. Courtyard Nashville West End you get the best customer service award from me! I've traveled a lot and no one matches your level of cool! Bed: OMG, I slept like a baby! Room: Super clean! No issues! The room was nice and I had no complaints. Truthfully, even if there was anything amiss I wouldn't have noticed because at the point I got into the room, the love they showed out weighed anything else! If you're coming to a Vandy Game you can walk to the stadium from the hotel which is why I booked here! I suggest using uber because parking fees around here are crazy! Most everything is in walking distance!

Even if you do have that desire, this hotel is close to it all, even the quieter blocks with cool local businesses convenient to Vanderbilt. I was here for work, so my main interest was in being able to take a nice morning walk for coffee and be within a short uber ride to meetings, etc. The hotel is well-kept, basic as you'd expect at a Courtyard. No frills, but the beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. The gym is small but has a decent amount of ellipticals, treadmills and free weights, as well as cables. I'd gladly stay here again. The rates are decent, considering Nashville can get pretty expensive, depending on the time of year.
