First…read more This happened last week my son injured in the summer camp and directly told teacher, The teacher sat with him for a little while and said that he didn't see anything wrong, so he didn't do anything to the wound. And that teacher didn't tell anybody else my son injured. Finally I realized that bruises and ask what happened. Why nobody tell me that????? My kids got kicked out of summer camp because I questioned their teachers for turning a blind eye to the persistent bullying in their classes. I tried to communicate with the teacher in the class but their teacher was extremely rude and yelled at me at the door. I have witnesses to see it all. I don't think this is the professional way to handle when facing parental doubts. Their teacher hid behind their leader like a little girl and dared not face me to answer my questions. come on! You're an adult and it's your job, you're my kid's teacher, why am I not talking to you, it's not protecting the staff, it's shielding the staff I was threatened that my child would be removed from summer camp if I was sending any messages to the teacher. I didn't use any threatening or abusive words in the message, I just questioned why she turned a blind eye to bullying. More than one parent contacted her to ask about their child being bullied, and she all said she couldn't see it. Instead, she accused my child of fighting back against the classmates who bullied him, and she said that when my child was beaten，should tell teacher first. That's so funny. My son has been bullied by that kid for almost a month and he told me almost every day when he comes home. In the end, the leader of this school said that I would threaten the safety of their employees and deprived my son of the opportunity to continue to attend classes in this school. She said that I slapped the glass door so hard that all the employees were scared. It was really funny. You don't have a doorbell at the back door. You left me outside the door before we finished speaking. Sometimes I would slap the glass door like this when you were late in the morning. Why didn't you call the police if I was really a threat to safety? When you deal with conflicts between parents and teachers, you are mixed with too many personal emotions and prejudices, and you are not worthy of being a qualified leader. Because you don't care about your students at all, you don't even have a word of concern or apology for my child's injury to you, it's horrible. The accident report you provided to me is awful. You even don't know how to spell my son's name. And you didn't watch video carefully the report's detail is wrong. This report was completed after repeated confirmation three times. Your work attitude really needs to be more serious. I will recommend all my friends don't go this school

The teachers are caring, patient, and attentive and I trust that my children are safe there every day. There is always open communication between parents, teachers and the directors, and I've always felt in the loop about what's happening day to day. The staff go above and beyond to create a warm, supportive environment that truly feels like an extension of home. We're grateful for the safe and happy environment for our children and highly recommend to any parent looking for a loving and enriching daycare! It truly feels like a second home to us.

We have had a wonderful experience at every stage and have always felt complete trust in their caregivers. The teachers are incredibly warm, nurturing, and attentive, and the directors do a great job ensuring a safe environment from maintaining strong hygiene practices to carefully managing who enters and exits the building. Most importantly, both of my kids were always happy to go in each day and even happier when I picked them up (sometimes they didn't want to leave!). It's clear they felt safe, supported, and excited to learn. I can't say enough good things about Loving and Learning. Knowing my children were safe, happy, and in such a positive learning environment meant so much to our family. Growing up in New Hyde Park, I knew the teachers and so many kids/parents who went to Gloria Dei and loved it. When I had my own child, there was never a question where they would go. My daughter started in this school last year in the 2 year old separation program. We had tried daycare with her for a while prior but after months struggling to adjust we finally pulled her out and hired a nanny. The first 2 weeks of school my daughter (and most other 2 year olds) were scared and cried for a while after dropoff. But this school anticipates and is prepared for that adjustment helping the kids and parents through. After 2 weeks it was like a switch went off and my daughter suddenly loved school! She made friends, learned to socialize and play and became comfortable separating. I noticed a marked difference in her communication, motor skills and confidence very quickly in the year and she progresses from there. Most importantly, she loved and looked forward to her time there. My daughter is currently enrolled in the 3 year old program with mrs.cherson and continuing to love school and thrive. Mrs. Cherson, the founder and director of the school, is a talented, compassionate and patient teacher. I'm always excited to come home from work and hear how school was. My son will be starting the 2 year old program next year while my daughter continues with them into mrs. Hansen's pre-k. Although there is universal pre-k in the town that would save me money the experience we've gotten here is worth it. I love the teachers, the small community and the friendly faces and parents you meet dropping off / picking up kids. Can't reccomend this school enough!

The curriculum grows with the children and encourages independent learning. The program is set up not only to enhance academic learning but healthy socialization with other children as well. The staff is a true family and treats every child with loving care and making them feel special and unique. There is always open communication with the teachers and the Director is friendly, professional and very hands on. This is the only program I would send my children to.
