After 3 days from the original email asking for the enrollment documents and information I got an email with an attachment for payment authorization and payment breakdown. Ms. Monica wanted my bank account information and as of this still post never answered or sent anything about enrollment documents. I never had a daycare ask for payment before sharing or giving me the documents I needed to complete. I was not asking for my child to start before I paid. I just wanted to know all fees I had to pay up front and what documents needed to be filled out. Not sure if she asks for payment first from everyone. The email interaction lets me know all I need to know about this place and I'm glad it happened because when you go there everyone smiles and says the nicest things. I can see from the reviews and the way I was treated this place is not about kids. It's about money. I'm very happy I will not be spending my hard earned money at this place. I had to remove my daughter from this school after I popped in unannounced and saw something that was completely unacceptable done to a child. I reported it to management and Brianne handled it so poorly and was very dismissive about the entire thing. Im not sure why they continue to have her in management after so many negative reviews about her. My daughter started April 1st there and every day I would drop her off she would cry hysterical and beg me not to take her to that school. I thought it was just her having trouble adjusting to a new environment but when I would pick her up she would have tears dried on her face like she's been crying the entire day. Once she saw me she would get up in a panic and run to me and say mommy let's go home now and I didn't realize how serious it was and how traumatized she was until I took her out of this location and put her in another location. She has been in her new school since May 1st and has not cried once during drop off she even asked me if she could stay longer when I went to pick her up which never happened in 4 weeks of her being in the Hackensack location . She told me she doesn't want to go back to her old bubbles and friends school because the teacher is mean and that her teacher will get really mad when she cries . She says the complete opposite about her new teacher so clearly the problem wasn't her adjusting it was the environment and teachers in that location. I'm thankful I randomly popped in that day because if I didn't see what I saw I would of probably kept her in this location for longer thinking it was just her adjusting but seeing how happy , excited and comfortable she is in her new school I know that it was not her having trouble adjusting she just didn't feel safe there. So parents if your kid is telling you they aren't happy there please listen to them.

My eldest stayed from 2-5 and my younger one stayed for a year and a half. The classes/teachers kept our kids engaged and supported their learning. We felt like we were part of a family at the school, as most of the teachers and staff are constantly helping all of the students out. The school was just right for us. There was a basic curriculum for learning and prepping for kindergarten. There is a typical morning drop off and pick up. That is up to the parents schedule. For safety, there is a key fob for entry so that no one can just waltz in. There are outside activities to keep them busy. There is reading, writing, play time, history, science, art, 2 snack times, a lunch, and even nap time for the little ones! The lunch and snacks are not given and parents must provide the meals, but on Fridays are pizza day. Summer camp provides snacks. For when the little ones have to go, the staff are all accommodating to assisting the kids. For the younger kids under 2, I am unsure as our kids didn't attend under those ages. The school has taught our daughters to have better social skills, help them with manners, use practical reasoning, interest in various books, music, education. The school even gave an open house and parent/teacher meeting(s). There are a couple of organized performances for the older ones including a music performance for preK 3 class and a graduation for the preK 4 class. I can go on and on and rant and rave but when it comes down to it, the school was perfect for our children and I can't thank all the teachers and staff for watching over our kids and giving them as much care as if they were their own. The other parents in the classes were just as supportive and we even had multiple play dates, birthday parties, and meet ups. Take my hand really built a community. I can honestly say that this school was one of the best things that happened for our daughters. I can't even begin to list everyone that have helped our kids our over there, but I am sure that they would do the same for any other kids looking to attend. I've seen mixed reviews online. Some really good experiences and some that didn't par with expectations. But I am here to say that it was perfect for our family and 2 daughters. Wow, where do I start ! I feel so bad giving this school a…read morepoor review but this has been weighing in on me for years. I've had my daughter in the lower school since 2016. My Ex-Husband, My daughter's father works in the design and marketing department. The school allowed my Ex-husband to use his Postion as a platform to harass me for as far back as my daughter's enrollment. Each parent logs into a parent portal to track thier child's progress and I was repeatedly locked out of my parent portal from 2016-2019. My name was removed twice from the aftercare release form and replaced both times with the name of my Ex-husbands live in girlfriend. Every school event would exclude my name from it's greeting cards. I complained on so many occasions that one director of one department would just brush me off to the director of another over and over again. My daughter lives with me in New York and she's with her father in New Jersey on the weekends but her report card would read in reverse and list him as a primary address and myself as a secondary. My private maiden name was once listed on the release form instead of My Ex-husband's last name which I carry. My private family name was completely unknown to the school and the modification could have only been made by My Ex-husband himself. Each of my daughter's teachers with the exception of one were confrontational or dismissive towards me and on occasion I'd catch them openly gossiping about myself or other parents. I had a child support increase modification which the school ignored for six months and that I had to pull my Ex-husband into court for while all along it was his employer who was defying thier legal obligations. The school falsified my daughter's amount of absences and lateness on her report card so much that there was a huge discrepancy between what the teacher reported vs what the nurse reported. In court my Ex-husband repeatedly blamed the tech department for all the electronic errors all along he himself is the site developer. It's just been such a disgusting experience at Dwight Englewood for me. Last Spring I emailed the school director to confirm that I would not be signing back on for the 20-21 school year in light of the pandemic. The director informed me that she had forwarded my cancellation email to my Ex-husband and she wouldn't accept my cancellation until she knew what the court said. when I refused to sign the 20-21 school year registration form by signature the same director told me that she had just rolled my information over from the year prior and that the school could proceed without me. The Dwight Englewood staff has literally bullied me for the past three years and I do not wish to ever revisit the experience that I've had at Dwight. In someways the school operates like the Mafia, I was treated so poorly and was always treated as If the school just expected me to just except the abuse because of how big and prestigious the school was. I'm disappointed and hurt, and The school shouldn't have taken sides and the issues should have been if not rectified at least addressed rather then ignored. It definitely wasn't the nurturing experience for myself and my daughter that you read about online.
