Let me preface this by saying, my child has not actually attended yet. This review is solely based…read moreon my sign-up experience. I walked in without an appointment because I didn't want anyone "preparing" for my visit. The staff was surprised as though people didn't walk in often, but still very nice. They were all very accomodating, they had no problem in letting me do a walk through. All of my questions were answered. I got a chance to meet some children and they were all very well behaved and adorable. There was a well planned out menu on display which showed breakfast, lunch and snack foods for the week (Included in the base price yay!). There was also a daily schedule posted. It included circletime, academics, a 2 hour nap time. For all you Christian parents out there, I was happy to see a 1/2 hour daily "Devotion" period scheduled daily. There were cots for sleeping, I was told to bring 2 blankets (for spreading down and for covering, 2 copy books, crayons and a change of clothes). Everything looked clean and organized. There were tons of educational material plastered everywhere, the place was very CLEAN and the kids looked happy. The staff were not pretentious at all , no one tried to give me an illusion of perfection. They stated facts, showed me whatever I asked for and I signed my child up on the spot. They provide free bus transportation to limited Queens neighbourhoods (Ozone Park, Jamaica, Richmond Hill I believe); they do pick up and drop off. He starts this Monday, I will certainly give an update in a few weeks once he's adjusted (or hasn't ;) UPDATE!!! My child attended for several months and I was overall satisfied with the care he received.

After searching for a reasonably priced and decent daycare, my husband and I settled on this one…read more It's only a temporary solution seeing that we are planning to move to Brooklyn in the near future and today will mark day two for my kid attending so I can't say much about it right now. I have to say that my son loves the school, teachers, and his classmates so far which is saying a lot because hated his previous daycare (I'll do a review on it in the near future). It's clean, not too many students, diverse, and well structured as far as I can tell. It's also pretty hand to find, you won't be able to see it from the street, which I like for safety reasons. The director is helpful and reasonable. She also does after school care for the pre-k to 8th grade students from the neighboring catholic school and will even pick them up personally and walk them back to her facility which is pretty cool. Students from her school gets a spot for that pre-k program offered at the catholic school. As far as education, I'll have to see. My kid is already pretty far ahead but when I talked to him after picking him up Monday, he told me all the things that he did so, so far so good. Will give another update in the future.

My daughter is almost 3 and has been there almost a year now and never wants to leave when I pick her up. This gives me a safe and comforting feeling knowing she is happy all day while I work.
