My child has been attending this school from August 2020. I knew about the quality of Montessori from my home country as my aunt ran the first Montessori school in India. So, I wasn't surprised when I found the quality of teaching, the support, the care, the individual attention and the general quality of the school outstanding. But my good impression about the school increased manifold when I saw the love that they give to all the children who attend the school. Worst place ever. Never trust your child here. Where should I start? It's dirty. Beyond dirty. When dropping off my daughter, there were two "teachers" watching 40 kids who were not paying attention at all. I witnessed two boys get on a tricycle, pile 2 more boys on the back and slam into another tricycle filled with boys. Boys all fell off, thought it was hilarious and kept going. Not one "teacher" said anything. It was appalling. Funnily enough, another parent walked in to drop her daughter off and was asking about a bruise her daughter came home with. The"teacher" of course denied anything. The main Montessori teacher does not teach the Montessori method! I couldnt leave my daughter there since I couldnt trust hem so I watched quite a bit and he teaching is terrible. They fed my vegetarian daughter turkey at their thanksgiving feast and then had the audacity to tell me that I should've been there to watch her if it was so important. If I could be there, I wouldn't need child care for her. I can go on and on and have warned countless people about this place, filed a report with NYS. Just stay away. read more

My little one is 2.5 years old and has always been with me or with family. I wanted to put him in an academic setting where he can learn, explore, interact with other kids his age. I was excited to learn about the new Montessori school in the Malverne location. We went to the open house and was impressed to learn about the small classes and curriculum. It's been a little over 3 months since my little one enrolled (full-time) and I have to give credit to the teachers. My little guy is talking more clear, cooperative, sharing, and communicating well overall. We are pleased how well the teachers/aids interact with our son. Little Minds is one of the best schools we found while looking for a school for my son, wish I had found it earlier when I was looking for my daughter! The teachers are wonderful, they take such good care of not only my son but all the kids there! The donot sent you bills for a bunch of different things, they offer programs that are during the school day like soccer for the kids which is an additional cost if you chose it. They are open early and close at 6pm. They do nice things for Christmas and Easter for the kids and they don't cost the parents anything. What I especially love is, when my daughter goes to pick up my son, they often include her in things they are doing - like Easter egg hunt etc! That means so much to her and to us as parents. I would recommend them if you are looking for a school for your child. Within one week my son was potty trained :) - I also love the owner - Manjula - she is fantastic and very very caring and patient with all the kids, she has a wonderful personality, always a pleasant smile on her face, no matter what may be happing in her life! read more

This School is fantastic. The staff is very hands-on and involved. The smaller class sizes allow for one on one instruction and for authentic Montessori interactions. If you are looking for an alternative curriculum preschool, a Montessori preschool, or are worried about enrolling your child into school for the first time you should heavily consider this school. The quiet calm environment is perfect for children who have never been away from home before. The mixed age classrooms insures teamwork, empathy, and a natural ebb and flow of leadership that instills confidence in every child. if your child is a bit older consider enrolling them in this school so that they can learn or refine the skills needed for Kindergarten without hours of drilling and homework. Our four year old son has been coming here for two years. He is excited to come here everyday and we are very pleased as well.
