It wasn't my first time in Conyers. I have yet to write a review of the Cracker Barrel that I…read morevisited. All in all, I think Conyers is sort of a country town, even though I plan to visit the shopping center on whatever that street was. I'll have to get back to you on that. Lingering Memories seems to be a bit off the beaten path, I wonder if the traffic I encountered on Good Friday was a holiday thing. At first glance, you may drive past it. It looks like any old antique shop. But if you are in the area, I would urge you to stop in. It is way bigger inside than it looks from the street. Basically, people that have things to sell rent a spot and there is everything from new merchandise to old Jimmy Hendricks albums. There is furniture, wicker, art, jewelry...a lot of stuff. If you want to window shop without the windows and the annoyance of someone following you around while ou take your sweet time to peruse.....this a a great place to go. I know, I know.."Conyers?" you say. Yeah, but...there ya go. I rented a spot to sell my things (new stuff) and I will go back soon to add more stuff. I plan on keeping the spot and getting more spots at other antique type shops. This was a decent place to start. If you are in the area, and are a peruser....you should stop in.

I was told "it was out of order for the day & hopefully would be repaired soon". This is obviously not true & this store does not have a public restroom for customers. I'd rather be told that narrative than lied to. I chose to leave and not make a purchase.

But over the last three years it's just turned into a couple of stalls that were worth it while everything else is furniture reupholsteres and over priced furniture and odds and ends. It's not where you can find a good bargain or cool rare things. Now it's more like estate sales for people who want to pay the initial cost of the items. It's good to grab and iced coffee and pretend you're a millionaire house shopping though

Honest review from seasoned antique buyer: Scored some cool…read morestuff at April 2026 show. Found a really amazing painting thats worth 10X what I paid. Saw some new dealers with gorgeous stuff, talked to some old regulars. Had a fun day. Atlanta Scott Antique Market has some decent antiques, and some not so decent vendors, but thats the fun of going to these shows. If you know what to look for, you can definitely score a bargain. This is not the Atlanta Antique scene of the 70's-80's-90's anymore, but there are still big high-end dealers who know their stuff! I don't mind the costume jewelry and used hand-bag people setting up a booth. This is the World we live in now. Here's the FACTS about Scotts Antiques..and all you need to know: 1. Wednesday is set-up day for dealers. Lots of early buying and selling goes on among them. Not open to public. 2. Thursday is the BEST day to attend, as dealers have full booths with best items. Designers and serious collectors do their shopping this day. Best day for public to attend. 3. Friday-saturday most likely to be busy with families, dealers probably willing to bargain on Saturday as they all know that SUNDAY is dead. 4. Don't bother coming Sunday unless you get there at 10AM. From 10-12 dealers will bargain do they don't have to load-up those big heavy items. By 2 PM, most dealers are packing up and just want to go home. Not uncommon to see empty booths even though Scotts has a rule about dealers leaving early. I don't think Scotts should charge public entry on Sundays. North Building is higher quality than South Building.. do plan to visit both. They have free shuttle between two locations.

PARKING There's a free private parking lot out front II. SERVICE Friendly III. However, what makes My Favorite Place different is that they are more flea market than consignment/antique store, and this is something that they fully embrace and own! We have popped into My Favorite Place a couple of times over the years in search of things we never knew we needed. MFP is a treasure trove of used items ranging from trinkets to furniture that are stacked from wall to wall and floor to ceiling, they even have pieces outside lining the sidewalk. To go back to the "flea market" comment, that is truly what the items here are. The store feels like one big yard sale with majority of the items simply being used and old, not really antiques or collectibles. Due to this and the way things are stacked and shelved, a lot of items are pretty beat up. They have a solid selection of furniture pieces, but again they are chipped and worn. If you are after furniture and plan to finish it yourself, then MFP is a solid option for you! Prices are fair and decent for everything in here, even the furniture. The pricing reflects the condition, so again if you are a DIY-er, then you can really find some great deals and good pieces here. Overall, My Favorite Place is a combination of over and underwhelming. Overwhelming in the way of volume of items, haphazard organization and stocking and underwhelming in the condition of items. We pop in when we are in the area, but would not go out of our way to drop by here.
