I've had two visits with this Dentist. The best dental appointments I've ever had…read more -I have never waited in the lobby -The staff are professionals -Never experienced this level of patient care from any doctor before. My first check-up consisted of 4 parts: First, a sit down consultation, with a staff member, asking what I wanted to do with my teeth. Second, I was escorted to a dentist chair for not only x-rays, but high definition pictures of my mouth. X-rays and photos where taken from all angles. (photos are used to evaluate tooth and gum health) Everything is explained to me, so I can understand what is going on. Third, I go over to the dental hygienist's chair for my cleaning. Lastly, I spoke with the dentist as we looked at the photos and x-rays. We talked about the concerns and questions I brought up in the consultation. Talked about what I wanted to do with my teeth and the most urgent problem areas that I needed worked on first. I have already recommended him to friends. Down side for me is I have a new insurance which makes him out- of -network. I'm in the process of finding an in-network dentist, but I don't think I will find one as good as him and his staff.

I was referred by a first cousin, a periodontist who practices in Sugarland, to Dr. Dale J. Brant of Medical Center Dental; my cousin said, "This is EXACTLY the guy you need to see; he's whip-smart, excellent chair-side manner, and a superb professional." Dr. Brant and his staff completely lived up to that recommendation: They worked me into their schedule much quicker than I would have ever thought possible. His staff showed all the signs of having worked closely together for a long time, like pieces of a fine Swiss watch, in supporting his practice of the art and science of dentistry. Dr. Brant's chair-side manner was indeed exceptionally warm; he pitched the level of detail in his diagnoses, explanations, and recommendations PERFECTLY given my particular needs and ability to follow, with no hiding behind jargon. He did rule out abscess or other dental problems as a possible cause of my fevers, and shared his x-rays and other records with both my physician and, as it turns out, my cousin the periodontist, who I will need to see on a non-urgent basis for treatment of periodontic disease. Some or all of that work Dr. Brant is also qualified to do himself -- but knowing who'd referred me, he made absolutely no attempt to "upsell me" or persuade me to let him undertake that periodontic work. We also discussed some other general dentistry issues based on his exam, including addressing my teeth-grinding and sleep apnea/restricted airway issues, for which I intend to return to him for treatment. And his fees were very reasonable -- much less than I had expected and would gladly have paid. In short, I left Dr. Brant's office feeling completely confident that I've found my new general dentist, upon whom I can rely in both the short and long term. Even in a community marked by fine teaching hospitals and dental schools and all sorts of world-class health professionals, Dr. Brant is a gem.

It really needs to be updated if that's the case. They also could have called me when they got in office on Monday to ask me what my insurance was before I drove all the way there, parked in the parking garage and went up to their office. I also thought it was kind of strange that there were no parking instructions or insight as to where the office was or what it looked like.

I really like that he used state of the art technology to clean teeth and prevent problems. During this last visit he was able to find a tooth that had the starting of a cavity so before it became bad he was able to treat this and prevent any further damage. In the old days or doctors not using the same technology will instead have to wait until the cavity is visible and that's where you start to feel pain as they repair. I can't say enough good things about Dr. hedge and his staff im really happy to have him taking care of me.

I called the after-hours line and was seen this morning without a lengthy wait. AND, there wasn't an astronomical charge attached to this unexpected visit. Dr. Joon Kim, Dr. Huynh, Raven, Rochelle and the WHOLE staff are very compassionate and caring; which is very rare these days. They take time to ensure that you are comfortable and pain-free before procedures are started. Whenever you decide to visit, be sure not To let the exterior portion of the building fool you. The office is clean and the equipment is sterile. Good hand-washing techniques are practiced. I even noticed that the exam room chairs are sanitized between each patient. In other words, even though this practice serves mostly those who are indigent they treat the people like they are important. (Which they are. ;) I truly believe that God is going to reward and bountifully bless this thriving practice to become one of the leading dental establishments in Houston.
