As an introvert, large crowds can be a lot for me, but I truly felt the Spirit of God, his presence. The people were kind, welcoming, and even prayed for me. Though I usually watch the 9:30 service online (since 2019!), being there in person felt like leaving family when I walked out the doors. Elevation is a place for everyone--the old, the young, and those in between. I'm still working on my concerns with large crowds, but I know I'll be back. I am hoping to one day meet the pastor and his wife. They are such wonderful people. For now, I'm grateful to keep worshiping online until I'm ready again. Elevation is truly a wonderful church home.

It's something you don't want to miss. I visited this church a while ago when I first moved to Charlotte & ended up going elsewhere for a little while before being drawn back. They just take things so seriously and are pursuing the right things. It's all about Jesus & nothing else. Not a person, not fame, not size or money - it's all about lifting the name of Jesus and making him known in Charlotte. So if you're looking for a church that preaches the Bible and doesn't just teach self help, etc. This is the place for you for SURE. Our organization was having a retreat. A night of bonding and team building. As we were coming to an end a member of the staff entered and interrupted our final activity saying how rude and disrespectful we were being by not being out of the building at 10. He proceeded to turn the lights out on us and stand and watch as we cleaned up. After this rude encounter a leader of our organization went to apologize for us being 10 minutes behind on leaving the building, she was told "this is not a joke and very rude and disrespectful." I myself being of Christian faith have never and could never imagine being so rude towards a group of young women, who are trying to do a good thing, and am very disturbed by the way this man approached this situation with our group of young ladies. Again this is no reflection on the service or the message received at this temple but reserving a room there was a complete nightmare because of the disrespectful way in which we were treated tonight.
