I love that you see a diversity of ages and families in the church. Services start with a time of worship- very contemporary with lights, screens to see the words, etc. Senior pastor David Chadwick preaches from the Word of God. And then the service closes with another worship song. The Southpark campus pastor, Jonathan Scott is also awesome and will preach when David is away, etc. The church has small groups called "Life Groups" and you can get connected at any time, but check the website for "Life Group Connect" where you can meet all the life group leaders and get plugged into a group immediately. There is a wonderful children's ministry during the service and middle school/high school meet Sunday nights for what is called "Advance" If you are visiting or new to the church, stop by the info booth and they will answer any questions you have.

Our community of friends are associated with Forest Hill through our life group and we will be co-leading a new life group in a few weeks, something we are very excited about. When it comes to elements of value, the teaching is gospel-focused, intentionally grounded in the bible, and completely God-centered. The worship is reverent, fun, talented, and God-focused. There is a real sense of love for God and a desire for authentic community. Two things my wife and I must have in our choice of a local spiritual family. If you are curious about faith and want to learn more about the truth Christianity claims, Forest Hill is a great place to start that journey.

As an introvert, large crowds can be a lot for me, but I truly felt the Spirit of God, his presence. The people were kind, welcoming, and even prayed for me. Though I usually watch the 9:30 service online (since 2019!), being there in person felt like leaving family when I walked out the doors. Elevation is a place for everyone--the old, the young, and those in between. I'm still working on my concerns with large crowds, but I know I'll be back. I am hoping to one day meet the pastor and his wife. They are such wonderful people. For now, I'm grateful to keep worshiping online until I'm ready again. Elevation is truly a wonderful church home.

It's not a huge congregation which I like because it's more intimate but it is large enough that I meet someone new every time I attend. Even still, I am greeted warmly every time I enter. I love that there is a church that is welcoming and accepting of all kinds of people, regardless of religious background, race, sex, orientation, or anything else. I love how universal the Unity principles are and how Rev. Marty relates these principles to more than just Christianity. Not only do you learn these principles through the use of religious stories but I have had the opportunity to practice these principles and apply them to my daily life. My spiritual journey has been greatly accelerated due to Unity. Also, Rev. Marty is hilarious and friendly. Just about every service I hear him speak, something resonates in my soul. I'm so happy to have this church available to me.

The people were upbeat and friendly; the music, professional and inspiring; the facility itself, handome and welcoming. The service shone with thoughtfulness and polish, and, finally, the message was appropriate and meaningful. However, what I valued most about Unity of Charlotte was the service's substance. That is, there was truth here (or, as I perceive truth, anyhow), evident in the production, the attendees, and the atmosphere alike. Particularly, the message that day conveyed some real, powerful, rare wisdom, which left me genuinely nourished and uplifted, in a way unmatched by empty rhetoric. For this, I am highly grateful. Thank you for seeing to my spiritual needs while on the road in an unfamiliar place. Please, continue your good work. Sincerely, Mr. Aaron Garrison

We were iffy to come here at first because of our poor experience at Elevation, but when we attended for the first time back in January we gained a strong appreciation for what the church stands for. They have a very worldly view and desire to spread the gospel across the nations. They have a very large asian congregation and they even have a bible group for parents with adopted children.. We are excited to begin our journey with this church and to see how God uses us in this community. The music comes from the congregation, each is a volunteer, and they even have an orchestra for special services.. Pastor Alex seems to have a contagious passion for the gospel and its relevancy to our current world, he is down to earth and realistic and you can tell when you see and listen to him that he does not feel like God has placed him on a pedestal. We actually look forward to service now. My husband and I always leave with a discussion on the message and what we got out of it. It's brought us closer together and we are looking into joining a young couple's group.. This church is just full of love.

Upon entering, my wife went to the information desk. A lady there asked 'What do you need'. My wife explained that we just moved here and wanted to check out the church, i.e., attend today and maybe come back. The woman handed her a "visitor" packet and told her she could go to the church's web site for more information. We thought this was an odd response from a welcome/information desk person. We thought they'd be interested in wanting to know a visitor and answering questions in person (We'd already been to the church's web site). During the service, we saw this woman up front and realized she was the the pastor's wife! Not to judge, but we thought this would be the last person to not want to engage with a potential new member of the church. We attended the service. The congregation was moved by the pastor who gave a good sermon; However, during the entire time we were there NOT ONE PERSON said a word to us! We've never experienced this in all the church's we've visited. It was like we were invisible. Sadly, we felt very unwanted and unwelcome. We have prayed that God can lead us to a church where we can serve Him. I guess this is not the place.

Having grown up attending church their entire lives, their biggest takeaway was that this youth program offers an incredible balance of meaningful biblical teaching and genuine fun. They left feeling encouraged, engaged, and excited to come back. My 14-year-old especially appreciated having a youth leader who was only a few years older than her. Seeing someone closer to her age confidently leading, teaching, and inspiring others made a real impact and helped the message feel relatable and authentic. The church itself is absolutely beautiful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk through the doors. I also had the pleasure of meeting both the pastor and his wife, and I have to say firsthand that Jaimie, the First Lady, is an absolute blessing and a breath of fresh air. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit immediately made us feel welcome. It's refreshing to find a church that is so intentional about investing in its youth while also creating such a loving and inviting environment for families. We are grateful for the experience and look forward to returning.
