Both were just $1.25 each and absolutely hit the spot. The bakery also offers kringles, eclairs, donut twists, loaves of bread, cakes, and a small selection of drinks. It shares a parking lot with a strip center, so there's plenty of parking available. The staff were friendly and helpful, patiently answering all my questions about their donut offerings since it was my first time visiting. Overall, a charming, old-school bakery that's worth a stop for anyone with a sweet tooth.

They've since expanded to numerous locations across the U.S. and even overseas. Their mascot is Ollie the Duck, who can be found on the sign and packaging. I learned a few things on my first visit. All the donuts are cake style donuts (as opposed to raised/yeast, which I tend to prefer) and they're made to order. The made to order is a pro and a con as you don't have to stress that they will sell out, but you might have to wait a bit for your order. Both peanut butter and cookies & cream are two of my favorite dessert flavors, as this donut includes both, it was a must try (especially because it was a seasonal offering). It comes drenched in peanut butter icing with OREO cookie pieces and a hot fudge drizzle. The body of the donut was heavy, dense, and pleasantly chewing with just the right amount of moistness and not too dry and cakey. Flavor was a sweet peanut butter, with plenty of chocolate. Unfortunately, I didn't detect much of the cream aspect from the OREO's because the peanut butter and chocolate were so strong. Texturally, the OREOs added a welcoming crunch though. It was messier than I prefer, but worth chomping down on. Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews My top doughnut shops: 1. Donut Bar (San Diego) 2. Pinkbox Doughnuts (Las Vegas) 3. I ordered the Bacon Blue Cheese Burger, fries and a peach shake. Due to the crowd there as slight wait, but nothing crazy. I took the order to go, since there weren't any tables available. The burger was well prepared, however the blue cheese spread wasn't obvious. Perhaps the fact they also have American cheese on the burger caused the flavored to blend, which came across more like sharp cheddar. Still tasted good, but I was wanting blue cheese. The fries were very good, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The peach shake was nice and thick with tasty chunks of peaches.
