Such a cute hidden gem! The food was beyond amazing! Everything was seasoned to perfection! We had curry chicken, brown stewed chicken, cabbage, red beans, Rasta pasta, curry potato and channa. We also had the passion fruit juice. Definitely cannot wait to come back and try the jerk chicken and oxtails and the plantains! Service was amazing!

Extremely Disappointing Experience - VDay We attended a recent event here and it was honestly a waste of money. We paid $15 per person for entry, yet there weren't even enough chairs for guests. If you're charging for an event, basic accommodations like seating should not be an afterthought. Now the food. Every single item on both of our plates was undercooked and excessively greasy. The cabbage tasted almost raw. The rasta pasta was already separating within five minutes of being served -- the sauce had broken and was sitting oily on top, which made it obvious the food had been pre-made and simply scooped onto plates. It wasn't even hot when we received it. We returned both plates completely full. That should've been a clear sign something was wrong. Instead of concern or accountability, the manager came with an attitude and seemed ready to argue the moment we spoke up. No effort to make it right. No professionalism. Just defensiveness. That alone guaranteed we won't return. Alcoholic drink options were extremely limited, basically rum and Coke. That was it. All in, we spent over $100 that night between entry, food, and drinks and left hungry and frustrated. The only positive was the DJ, who was genuinely good and carried the vibe despite everything else. Beware: If you attend an event here, be prepared for limited seating, greasy and undercooked food, and management that may meet feedback with attitude instead of customer service. We won't be back.

This gem truly was amazing! Located downtown Cayce. The owner was kind with a warm spirit that made me feel right at home! The restaurant was extremely clean and welcoming. Parking was easy. The curry shrimp meal was phenomenal! Sooooo good! Can't wait to return on fish days Friday and Saturday! I will be back!

Listen! Run to Trini Lime if you are looking for some delicious cooked and seasoned just right Caribbean food! We had the pleasure of trying a few different items for the yelp event! Curry chicken, Stew Chicken, rice, peas, Rasta pasta, and cabbage. The owner and chef was the sweetest and 10/10 hospitality. Go try it for yourself you won't be disappointed. The ambiance of the restaurant has a really nice inviting feel love the true culture of Trini.

First time trying this place and have been in the area for about 2 months, originally from NJ and the food was soo good. When I walked in they were so welcoming and the owner of the place came out to meet me. Both pholourie and doubles were good. The doubles were packed and definitely worth the $5. Make sure u ask for the hot sauce on the side for the people who like it spicy cuz it made the doubles so much better. Maybe next time I'll ask to see if they have some Mango Sour for the pholourie. Will definitely come back! Such a nice ambience if you're dining in. I did takeout.

    Aloo pie with tamarind sauce

The Doubles, the shrimp curry buss up, the roti was buttery Jesus Christ I need more of that roti!!!! I have been looking for a Caribbean place Trini/Guyanese since moving here and listen.... I don't mind the 24 min drive. 100% would be back and 100% would recommend this place to anyone! I would like to add that the woman cooking and taking orders was extremely nice and kept checking up on me to make sure I was good.

Potato salad and fresh salad with an amazing dressing!

Oh my goodness, I've eaten so much and it looks like I haven't even touched my plate. Other reviewers weren't lying when they say that it feels like your grandma just fixed you a plate cause this is definitely delicious. Well seasoned comfort food. The fried chicken is very crispy and very well seasoned. It was tender and juicy and I will definitely be trying that again. I got the Sunday plate today and that included so many sides so there was a fresh side salad that was already dressed with some sort of delicious dressing that was a little bit spicy. It's so flavorful then it also came with a potato salad that had some interesting vegetables in it little bit of carrot and I think a little bit of green peas in there it had some sweet potatoes that could've been dessert. They were delicious. It had collard greens that were perfectly cooked. They weren't mushy well seasoned there was something called callaloo which is a creamy stewed greens. That was really good too. And then I also ordered the fresh coconut water, which I was surprised to discover came in a fresh coconut so I get to take the coconut home and there's lots of lots of coconut water this coconut. It's big but there's definitely worth the price I'm gonna be taking the rest of this place to work tomorrow for lunch and all my coworkers are gonna be jealous and like where did you get that food and now I'm gonna be like I got it at Trinity Lime Café in Cayce! This might just be my new go to place on Sundays no lie. This food is so good. I will definitely be trying more.

Pasta, chickpeas and cabbage and vegetables

When I first walked into Trine Lime Caribbean I was greated by a burst of eye opening colors. Beautiful hibiscus painted on the wall. I had the feeling I was in the Caribbean. We were greeted by the chef and owner and made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious I sampled the curry chicken, chickpeas and pasta roti. It was sooooo good. I will highly recommend this place. It is definitely a restaurant that I would go to again.

Had to stop by when I saw this place was opening. I immediately felt the island vibe walking it. The music the smell the menu. I was in a rush but the food came out quickly. I only got corn soup and coconut fudge. They were both tasty but the fudge was BUSSIN. The cost is around the same as most Caribbean restaurants. I like that it is full service. I usually do gluten free reviews but they were just opening and don't have an actual menu. Thought the soup will be but it is not Gluten Free. It's good to have a designated Trini spot in Columbia I will definitely come again and try whatever is safe for me especially the bussin fudge.

Enjoyed this small cozy spot. Had really well seasoned food and also had the doubles, which is like a cooked chickpea mix over flatbread that was amazing! Food felt like a meal you would get at home your mom or grandmother would make. Small staff but was well taken care of. Overall great experience and will be back!

    I was not eating neat

Great is what I'll say I'm not done eating and can't stop woooo cudos to the chef and owner she was confident and did not disappoint yea I'll be back J thomas

Haven't eaten yet, still cooking it. That said the food coming out from the kitchen looks incredible and I'm excited for dinner and will definitely return!!

You park and get out order at the window and go back to the window when your food is ready. My husband has been sent in and I thought this would be a good treat for Good Friday to have some food that reminds him a bit of his home. We ordered curry goat and oxtails with rice and peas mac & cheese and plantains. I ordered rice with mac & cheese, plantains and okra. I did enjoy the okra, it was cooked really well. It also tasted pretty good. The mac & cheese was good, I wish for a slight more bite with the cheese so on a scale of five I'd give it a four out of five. The portion size was OK for me, but not for my husband who is 64 and 260 pounds. He felt the goat was pretty good, but the oxtail not so much. He liked the rice and peas, but wish there were more peas. We could count the peas in his rice and in my rice and still have fingers left. What we're used to is a good ratio, rice and peas. I had food from here before and really enjoyed it. We also received the pineapple and ginger juice and the sorrel and we love them both. Those were made really well.

The jerk chicken appeared to be overcooked or old. The plate came with 3 sides. So I chose plantains, cabbage, and green beans. The plantains were the worse I've had, the cabbage was okay and the green beans were flavorless. I would give this entire meal 4/10. The large oxtail plate was basic. It also came with 3 sides; macaroni, white rice, and cabbage. Definitely the least enjoyable oxtails we've tried in the area. The macaroni needed salt and the oxtails were tough.

I have never waited as long as they take to put these meals together. They did come out with an order but was completely wrong. My impression of the establishment is a small cafe with a few Jamaican flags, wording, and music camouflaged up to attract the tourists. There are no Jamaicans taking order, the menu is always on the TV. There is an attached side to cafe with 1 pool table, another bar, and stage. Upon finally receiving our orders albeit after an hour wait the food was presented well but no damn way wait for amount served. We have come to expect that no one here in America can give it the jerk taste and this was no different. Yes it is fall off bone but only jerk seasoning not the taste cooked in. It is serviceable as far as American standards. The curry chicken was way salty and the side of rice peas was very small as compared to me I got very large portion rice. The food was okay but as long as we waited I was ready to get refund and leave. If you want horrible service come here but I will not again.
