I had seen the amazing photos on social media so I had to come "taste" these photos; and this place did not disappoint! It's tucked away in a shopping center next to other small businesses. There is not a lot of interior seating so prepared to wait in your vehicle (I'm a fan) . The menu is easy to follow and all of the staff is welcoming. I like that when they give an estimated time for your order to be ready, that it's pretty spot on! Now to the food. The salmon was not dry, nor was it over a seasoned. The macaroni was awesome and the okra was fresh and crispy. Not a huge rice eater and it was a lot, I ate some of eat; it was also good. Definitely on the visit again list! read more

I cant believe I'm just recently discovering this place! Hubby was craving soup food in the middle of the week and seeing as I reserve that right for Weekends we decided to search for a new spot. We came across indulge in Yelp and decided to give them a call to see if they had neck bones as advertised on the website. When we called we were answered promptly by a friendly voice. She answered all of the many questions my foodie bae had lol! We set on a mission to go in before we ordered. We were hit by such tasty smells! We ordered our food-him- neckbone tray with field peas rice Mac and cheese and yams, I ordered the fried whiting Mac and cheese, and double collards and a side of Cajun honey mustard wings. One of the patrons swore by the 'deep blue sea' drink so I ordered that as well. After stoping by a near by (next door) bakery we set off home. Our mouths were watering smelling the food while driving. We got home and absolutely devoured our food! I was in heaven!!! The whiting was fried perfectly! The Mac and cheese was so cheesy and good, the greens however weren't my favorite. To me they were lacking seasoning. My wings!!!! Mm mm mm! They were AMAZING! As someone who brags about knowing all of Columbia I did not know about this spot until today. Stewed turkey wings here were magnificently succulent fall off the bone good ! The turkey wings rested upon a small mountain of rice and gravy cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese please was another great side to complete the hearty meal. Easily made this into two meals as the owner Precious gives you plenty on that to go plate. Will be coming back for more soul food soon. read more

"don't ask what's good, because everything is good", and although we've only eaten here once, I'm certain that quote is NOT a lie. We went for lunch and I got the chicken fried rice plate. It comes with 2 wings, I got lemon pepper, and fried rice topped with teriyaki chicken. Honestly, I would've ordered the fried rice alone it was so good! It's not the usual fried rice you'd expect, but it's got the onions, peppers and two types of beans. Just try it, you'll be doing yourself a favor! And the wings... whewwww buddy, Elijah is a bit of a wing snob. Only likes flats and wings cooked well done, or crispy and these delivered! A slice of home! Great service, friendly faces in a cozy place. We ordered take out, a fresh garden salad, fish sandwich & fries with banana pudding. First of all, we ate the banana pudding before we left the parking lot. It's the real deal (no instant pudding in it). They told us we would regret only getting one...and we did. It was great! I tried this spot on recommendation from my husband. The menu was interesting! There were a lot of unexpected items on the menu like fried bologna and smoked neck bones. There's also chicken wings, turkey wings, pork chops, burgers, tuna salad and chicken salad. I stopped by on impulse so I did not pre-order as my husband advised me. I ordered the tuna Salad and the person I was with ordered chicken wings with fries. It took quite a while to get our order. We waited probably about 20 to 25 minutes. We got our order to go but there is a small dining area in the restaurant. While I was there, I noticed that they do deliver through a service like Grubhub. I am pleased to say that, although we waited a while for it, the food was delicious. That was probably the best tuna salad sandwich I have ever had. It came with freshly baked pita chips. Everything tasted fresh, seasoned, and was served warm. I will definitely go back again to try other things on the menu. But I will certainly call ahead to order. read more

The way it was put together and the flavor that was packed in it was amazing! The beans weren't over or undercooked. My sides were mac and cheese, collard greens, and candied yams. Although my food was hot, it did not taste fresh and delicious like I expected it to. The wings were fried hard and a little tough. The mac and cheese was not flavorful at all, it seems like it was messing some extra seasoning. The collard greens were good however they were salty. My "favorite" thing was the candied yams. Got the food and the collard greens taste like pure salt with no seasoning, the wings were fried too hard and basted in the saltiest terriyaki sauce, red beans from can (red kidney beans) no taste, and i would have expected at least a roll but it was only the 3 child portion sides, and the meat for $14.25.
