This review is only for service not the food. So we went for our first time, we don't mind waiting on fresh authentic soul food. However they don't have a legitimate way of serving the orders. We were no. 45 and we waited our allotted time of 30-35 min when our number was called, we saw the guy put a bag on the counter and a girl pick it up, we stood there while he called other numbers and when we asked about 45 he said he didn't call it. 2 other people standing there said they heard him say 45. He acted as if it was no big deal and the other young lady behind the counter brushed it off with we will call out the numbers again in a minute. The manager came out and told my husband she would re-fix it. When he said we had to wait another 35-40 min I went to the counter to ask for a refund. They told me to wait for the manager she finally came out, I said I would like a refund because our food was given to someone else. She then began to get loud with me, telling me I was making a scene, she had our food now, how dare I come from church showing out, mind you she didn't let me get two words in after I said I wanted a refund. She then slid a sign in my face that said no refund for long wait times, I'm trying to explain I understand that but its the fact you just let someone walk away with our food, and she said, well that happens!!! Really? As a business owner and I'm a assuming to be a woman of God, I would have expected a little more sympathy for my customer. To end it all she said well I fixed it again, welll ma'am what else were you supposed to do if your help gave our paid order to someone else? read more
