I purchased an outfit in good faith on the Trina Turk website. When it arrived, it was the same design but the color was AWFUL; and not what was advertised. Trina Turk would not credit me back. The customer service in the store (when you are purchasing something) is great! They take your money for their overpriced clothing NO PROBLEM. $238 for a swimsuit. It looked great until.... the snap button broke off after seven months. I wore the suit maybe two dozen times. I've NEVER had a snap button break on any piece of clothing. Ever. The customer service (after leaving the store) is HORRIBLE/non-existent. I called the store. They told me to take it to a tailor to get it fixed. LOLOL. I emailed Trina Turk "customer care". They ignored the email for over two weeks. I'm still waiting for any type of response other than "Your request has been updated". I'd give it zero stars if possible. So many places to get a great looking swimsuit and it won't be Mr. Turk in the future. read more

My wife has been wanting to stop in here for quite some time, and we finally got a chance this past weekend. The store has a cool vibe, the clothing is all brightly colored, but the prices are what I would consider outrageous. In addition to clothing, they also sell accessories, books, and décor items for midcentury modern/contemporary homes. The staff was very friendly, and it was fun looking around, but I probably won't be making a return visit. There's a small parking lot available in the rear, but primarily on street parking. read more

So much color! So much delight! A nice gentleman greeted us when we arrived in the store. We wandered through the men's clothing, the books with relaxing vacation locales, the bedding, the pillows, the glasses. Then through the gaunlet of swimming suits and cover up and into the women's clothing. I am a bright clothing girl and the fall clothes were more burgundy, neutrals, but I found a pair of pajamas to try on. Unfortunately they were 3/4 sleeves which doesn't work so well for my home state of MN. They also had some fun vintage clothing racks. The gentleman who helped me was very gracious. The Trina Turk store just oozes Palm Springs and desert chic I just love this store and every time I visit Palm Springs I make a point of coming here. It's so spacious and the decor is just beautiful. The clothing is very well made, on trend but also timeless. Bright bold designs. Yes, it is pricey but you will have the clothes for years. The staff were super helpful without being annoying. Mr. Turk side of the store is just charming and aimed at the man who is confident on trend and not afraid to wear chic colorful beautifully designed clothing. Everything here from bathing suits to fabulous shirts, suits and home decor. Again I loved it. So if you are in Palm Springs drop in and you will fall in love. read more

Such a fabulous store. There's three parts of the store. First is the women's wear section. Second is the men's wear section. Third is the home lifestyle section. This store is housed under the architect Albert Frey. He was one of the famous Mid Century Modern Architects. Even inside of the store is decorated in Mid Century Modern. Absolutely beautiful throughout the whole place. Believe it or not they do often have sales there. The employees are super friendly and helpful. They do remember me. I'm known because of my height it's a dead giveaway. Ladies go into the dressing rooms it's a dream. Definitely IG worthy. So do it for the gram okay! The men's sizes doesn't go up to XXL only for XL. The home lifestyle section has mostly everything to spruce up you're place for a taste of Mid Century Modern. From pillows, bar ware, books, and dinnerware. They have it. When you go outside there's a sculpture that's Mid Century Modern as well. IG worthy as well. I have been a customer of Trina Turk/ Mr. Turk for a number of years and have spent literally tens of thousands. This morning I thought it was around 22,000 but I was looking back through my receipts and I spent around $30,000.00. However I will never be patronizing the store again. During the shut down they let three of their employees go. Who have been there between 4 years and 15 years. But yet they retained an employee who is only there two years. It's pretty clear like most businesses they did this in an effort to cut hourly wages and I'm guessing they will probably hire new people at a lower salary. It just seems like a very crappy thing to do I hope I'm wrong and I hope they bring those people back but for right now he just seems very wrong. read more

Trina Turk in Palm Springs - the mother ship of this fabulous brand, has the best offerings and, thank heavens, great sales.  I want to shout out the Sales Associate Nicole.  I am a not a skinny girl, so, at first, I thought there would be nothing there for me.  Nicole said: oh, I'll find you some things, and she did.  She knows how to fit every figure, every woman, every aesthetic and she does is with grace and charm.  I never felt like "the fat girl".  Instead I felt fabulous and she got me into styles and things that I thought I could never wear.  I call Nicole the "Big Girl Whisperer" cuz she always makes it work! Pretty disappointing..... On a recent trip to Coachella Valley to visit family, my partner and I stopped into Mr. Turk because as a former Palm Springs resident I wanted to visit the store again and get a pair of trousers that had been advertised via the Mr. Turk customer email registry/sign up. Well, Mrs. Turk was present in the store this day, however, did not even acknowledge us while we were there and while we purchased 3 items totaling over $1100.00. (edit: It was 4 items not 3) She didn't have the decency say "Hello", or "Thank You", nothing. She was flitting about the store talking with the other customers, etc. But not us. HUGE MISS ON HER PART! Granted, I personally do not "look the part" of the standard/typical Turk customer, as I was dressed in fashions that are not of the same ilk in regards to fabric and styling, but are of exceptional quality and fabrics none the less. Just not her style. I received the side eye from a couple of the female staff onsite, with the facial expression of "What are you doing in our store?" which was not really appreciated either, but you know what, I don't care what their opinion of me is, I'm shopping here because I can afford to. I'm in your store keeping you employed by purchasing your overpriced, marginal goods. That is what I'm doing in your store. I believe EVERYONE should be treated with the same respect and pleasantries as those who may shop here on a more frequent basis, and regardless if you "look" like the standard Turk client. So much for forging relationships with potential repeat customers who have no problem laying down some good money for a few items of clothing. This lack of appreciation and sub par customer service on her behalf; coupled with the overall attitude of the stores patrons and employees really put a bad taste in my mouth and does not make me want to return, for anything. Now, lets talk quality of the merchandise/garments. Its lacking. The fabrics stretch tremendously while you are wearing them, and only can have a proper fit again after they are laundered/dry cleaned. You get about 2 hours of wear in them before they start to sag, bag, bulge, etc. and I was left constantly hiking my trousers up because they stretched out to the point they were falling off of me. Talk about embarrassing. Another thing Mr Turk seems to do is adjust their sizing so as to make it appear as though the customer is a size other than their true size. Example: I am a 31-32 waist in EVERY brand of pant ever bought, from Burberry to John Varvatos to Diesel, etc., etc. But, in Mr. Turk sizes I'm a 28 - 29!?! I haven't been that actual size since high school and I'm well into my years of mid-life now. And the sizes marked as 30 or 32 would be more like a 36 or larger in any other brand. I think Mr. Turk does this so as to make their average customer "feel" or "believe" they are a smaller size than they truly are. I guess large people don't want top be reminded of how large they are. A poor attempt at making the customer feel like something they are not. IDK, thats "Not my circus. Not my monkey", as they say, in regards to how they present their goods to consumers. read more

Went into the store waiting for a dinner reservation. Nicole who was working was so pleasant and happy to help. Some stores have such horrible service these days. This boutique is beautiful, well laid out and the staff are top notch. Not to mention, it's Trina Turk! Her designs and prints are both unique and beautiful. The quality of the fabrics and the construction of the garments for the price are an amazing value. I visited this boutique with my dear friends who live a few blocks away. We had a great time shopping (and spending!) with Sean and all of the staff. After picking out 5 gorgeous pieces, I realized my suitcase was already overstuffed. I had previously only seen Trina Turk clothing at department stores. I didn't realize she had opened her own boutiques let alone one in Palm Springs! This boutique has a swank interior that makes you feel like you stepped into a luxurious vintage department store. I loved the shag carpeting, white basket weave chairs and chandeliers. If I didn't already love the brand (which I do!), I would shop here for the customer service and the value they place on relationships alone. I rarely encounter such a customer-centric business, outside of my own employer (but that's kind of our "thing"), and I have never been disappointed by any experience with this boutique. What do I mean? Let's see...they get to know repeat customers by name. They set aside items they think I'll love or that fit my style so I can try them when I come in. They respond to email, usually in a few minutes if it's during business hours. They offer solutions to ridiculous problems that are not their fault (dry cleaner ruined my sweater, TSA caught and ripped my pants with my suitcase zipper.) I could go on and on, but hopefully you see the trend. As another reviewer mentioned, you absolutely get what you pay for. This is not "fast fashion" (code for garbage quality), and you will never be overlooked when wearing Trina Turk/Mr. Turk. Trina Turk is Palm Spings glamour, defined. I've always loved TT's designs so experiencing the store itself was high on my Palm Springs To-Do list. Desert-Chic is the theme, with gold, white and turquoise all around. The shag carpeting and the crystal chandeliers are lux, squared. But despite the gorgeous store, I just couldn't bring myself to buy anything. Although the staff was helpful and the dresses I tried on were gorgeous, I couldn't swallow the equally "luxurious" prices. Definitely stop in if you're ever in Palm Springs, since it's right on the way into town - but I chose to save my $$ for the Desert Hills Outlets (and scored big time!). read more

The Trina Turk and Mr. Turk clothing store is one of the best dress shops between Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs. I have been coming here for years and witnessed as this amazing designer expanded her presence to encompass almost the entire block. I love trying on men's shirts and pants at Mr. Turk. The sales people are helpful and professional. There always seems to be a fresh rack of swimsuits to browse, even in the summertime! Trina designs beautiful patterns for fabrics and has a gift for combining color with contemporary resort style. She is a trendsetter and always in the forefront of fashion. Wow, what a beautiful store. This space really stands out among the old and tired facade of other shops on this street. I had to stop and take a quick pic for my yelp review, but the look the sales girl gave me could have turned me to stone. She continued on in her ice queen persona, but that didn't deter my shopping. The male employee's were all really friendly, so who knows what was up with her. I flipped through all the Tina pieces I was dying to see in person, but had to cut my visit short because the store was closing. Palm Springs is the perfect venue for the house of turk! This review is a bit late in the making. Since COVID, I have some new found extra time. And, after a few months, had a reason to wear my Mr Turk. Anyway, here goes. Always great fashion, however this time, the shopping experience was even better than usual, due to one sales person who really assisted and took time , and even during the shut down , has reached out to see if I needed anything more via online shopping.
