Should be called Best Barber Shop…read more Ryan's been running this shop for years and I've been recommending him to my friends and family for just as long. When I share the recommendation I tell them it's more of an experience than just a hair cut. Call for an appointment and he will get you in at a time and day that work for both of your schedules. You will be welcomed into his properly appointed establishment with a smile and he will most likely be finishing up with his previous client. Just take a seat and chill or stroll around and take a gander at his art and taxidermy. Once he finishes with the previous client, you can take a seat in his chair while he handles payment and scheduling with them. Ryan will ask you what you want and set your expectations accordingly. You can get a cut or shave or beard trim or a combination of the bunch. I'll admit the prices are most likely more than you're used to, but I promise that the experience and the results will be worth it. He's got a lifelong customer here and I have a feeling you will end up being one too.

I've been going here for four years since, and I've had an excellent haircut every single time. Haircut is always as requested, and I really appreciate that Klay takes his time to make sure everything is done well. Also was super nice when Klay remembered me after coming here several times, and remembered the exact cut that I get! There usually is a bit of a wait during peak times (the wait is still absolutely worth it), but the atmosphere is great, and there is usually a movie playing in the background to help pass the time. The price is very reasonable, and it's really nice to be able to fully trust your barber with your hair. Hands down the best barber I've ever been to.

Aaron was my barber for two years, starting back when he first opened the doors to Rival. I can…read morehonestly say that I received the best cuts during those two years! Every hair was in the right place--or removed when it needed to be! I never had a reason to say, "No, a little more off on this side!" After 10 years of rocking a small afro, I can confidently say my years with Rival were some of the best. Aaron is truly talented, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in his work. I've also had the pleasure of watching Rival transform from its beginning stages. What started as a basic storefront has evolved into such an elegant, stylish, upscale space. I absolutely love the toolbox theme for the workstations--it's so creative and definitely gives off that masculine, manly vibe. The décor on the back walls, the screens, lighting and all the little details throughout the shop really bring everything together. You can tell a lot of thought and pride went into creating the atmosphere. Rival isn't just a place to get a haircut--it's an experience. I love seeing how far Aaron has taken his vision, and I'm proud to have been there from the beginning!
