All the pieces I purchased were high quality and have held up well over the years.

Just so you know: The Brown County Antique Mall is actually three different buildings…read more The main one, which sits just off the road, is your typical antique store. It has all kinds of tchotchkes, doodads, baubles, trinkets and other old and unique miscellany. The store is separated into booths, and there are different things in each booth. I saw all kinds of things that I wanted, but I had to physically stop myself from buying some of the vintage milk glass mugs. No one needs a milk glass mug with a buffalo on it, but the heart wants what the heart wants, sometimes. If you leave the main building and walk outside, and then turn to the right, you will see the second building: Route 46 Vintage. This vintage store deserves its own review, so you can read my separate review for that. But I'll just say that this is where you'll find funky vintage clothing and accessories. Then, there's a little shed-looking building that has more antiques and fun stuff, and also handmade goods from local artisans. Basically, the Brown County Antique Mall is a little campus full of eclectic treasures. You can definitely spend an hour or so here (or more!) looking through all of the stuff and buying all the things.

So fun looking through all the booths in this antique shop. We spent a few hours looking and as we…read morewere checking out we found out there were 2 more buildings! So we are definitely going back to this shop to check out what we missed and to see what new items were added by the vendors. The building we did see was a good size and the variety abounds. I love costume jewelry and was able to find several pieces that I liked and I brought home. There were big outdoor items on the front porch when we walked up. The place is right on the highway and easy to get to with adequate parking. The prices in the booths varied greatly with some being very reasonable and some I thought were high but I think that is the same as most antique/vintage stores of this type. We had a lot of fun shopping there and when we checked out the cashier was nice and helpful and told us about a couple store policies that we asked about. I will attach a lot of pics to show the variety here.

I was trying to move and get rid of things without having to hold things for people. No money was exchanged, I was clear and explicit about what was required to purchase from me and I could not make an exception for him in selling. He acknowledged that I should just let the next person take it. Great! But instead of just walking away, he spitefully gave me an 1-star an on "communication" when it was clear he understood because he got upset. Now nothing can be done about that undeserved review. They stopped teaching civics in high school when they started gutting public education in the 80s. If you look at the our world this may be one factor in why people have such a sense of entitlement and cry wolf just because they didn't like something. The item ended up going to a single mom trying to rebuild her life since it was so affordable. Happy it went to someone like her rather than an unscrupulous buyer like Gene. I was cleaning out my messages when I was reminded of this event that happened a year ago. But even if this was more than a year ago, the undeserved review still exists on my profile which goes to show how being angry and pouting for a few minutes can affect others for years. Update: Gene responded to a review I made and claimed his account got hacked and never reviewed me negatively. Then my google review got removed for this shop. However, I don't trust this claim. His review of me as a seller occurred the same day I gave him a heads up that another buyer could pick it up earlier and was giving him the opportunity to come sooner if he was able. I have the time stamps from our interaction. His questionable claim about being hacked to ensure that only reviews he likes appear for his shop further confirms that he hasn't changed and is STILL an unscrupulous buyer and businessperson, when something doesn't go his way.

Overall, an excellent experience!…read more Before purchasing our bed, I telephoned Bedder Way with questions, and the customer service was great. My call was answered promptly, the person I spoke with was knowledgeable, patient, and cheerful. There was a delay in the bed's arrival, which left us scrambling a bit because we had broken down and gotten rid of our old bed in anticipation of a timely delivery (no room to get the new one in without the old one out). That said, the delivery folks kept us informed about the progress of our delivery. On the day the bed did arrive, the driver was very kind and careful with the handling and placement of the very large (!) box outside because it was too big to deal with inside our tiny home. It was a challenge opening the box and unpacking the bed parts, which was a decidedly Good Thing. All of the pieces were expertly and very solidly packed using wood and solid/strong styrofoam(?) pieces to prevent any scarring or scratching of any of the components. The directions for putting the bed together and installing it were very detailed and useful -- and my oh my, it is so comfortable - much more so than our former bed even though we used our existing mattress. We sleep on it every night, often closing it during the day to give us more room, plus it keeps the bed nice. I am small and 70 yo and can easily handle taking the bed up and down. There are two slight challenges: one is remembering that the legs at the foot of the bed stick out a bit when the bed is open, so it can be tough on your shins if you aren't mindful; the other is changing the bed -- it's a bit difficult (but, of course, doable) to get the fitted sheet on at the top of the mattress because the enclosure does not leave a lot of room to maneuver; and, caution is needed when one lifts the bottom of the mattress to put on the sheets and tuck in the bedding because the bed frame pops up in an effort to close because there is no weight on it at the moment. The only disappointment was the lights, which are add-on purchases, and not built into the bed itself. The "neck" on one of them isn't sufficiently stiff to hold the lamp in position. That said, it was not enough of an issue to bother Bedder Way about it, and we are managing. :-) [Bedder Way saw our review and sent a new lamp!! Another feather in their cap!] All in all, the Bedder Way Murphy bed was the perfect choice for a senior couple who radically downsized and moved into a tiny 1930 build duplex to be near family and within walking distance to all the necessary amenities (stores, medical offices, public transportation, etc.). We are now considering a Bedder Way side cabinet when we are able to manage it. :-)

Even though we were a bit intimidated after seeing the large boxes, everything fell into place pretty quickly. The set up was no trouble for 3 adults, the online videos and instructions were very helpful and easy to follow. Thank you for manufacturing such a sturdy and attractive piece of furniture. This compliment is coming from a German, and we are certainly "picky" and expect high quality. You delivered!
