Just simply review the newest bad reviews on their google page. These places are disgusting when you move into them, then you have to pull an arm and a leg off someone to make them do anything for you when they stuck you with some crap to begin with. VERY, and I mean, VERY unprofessional management. Carla is absolutely horrible, and their regional manager is absolutely unprofessional and horrible. His business casual clothes were wrinkled and he was sweating like a pig outside in 19 degree weather from walking one block in the complex. They are very unfair with choosing who they want to pick on as far as rules go. If you plan on staying here for life or dying here, then you get everything you want. Trillium Pointe Apartment Homes - Apartments Near Me - Jackson, Michigan

This is one of two of the nicest apartment complexes in Jackson, MI for professionals. It's set in a lovely location off the road, so you don't get too much traffic. The buildings are brand new, a nice size, and each comes with a full size washer and dryer, as well as a very small storage shed on the porch/balcony - about 1/2 the size of an extra closet - it's nice to have. The complex is very well - professionally maintained, the staff is nice, and selective to whom they rent - i.e. they check references. There's a small, but very nice pool which never seems to be crowded, as well as a lovely room available for party rental. The one thing I have to ding them on is while I give them kudos for making EVERY 1st floor apartment handicapped accessible, they PROHIBIT SERVICE DOGS!!! I have no problem with an across the board no pets policy; there are people who are getting away with having small (yappy) dogs, and yet they will tell you up front you will be evicted if you, or a guest, has a SERVICE DOG in your apartment. Although I don't have one, I know that's against the law, and I told them sooner or later they were going to get sued by someone for discrimination. They didn't seem bothered by that. They might want to look into the American's with Disabilities laws. read more

I don't live here yet but my husband and I just went in to look at the place! Grounds are gorgeous and well kept. Leasing office is very nice as well. The lady who took us to see an apartment was very friendly. The model apartment was well decorated decently priced for what it came with (dishwasher, washer and dryer in apartment, outdoor storage, and walk-In closet, and more) and just a nice feel overall! We are planning to move in as soon as possible and will update if anything chances once that happens! read more

I took down my original review because it has been overshadowed. I live in a one-bedroom apartment on the second floor. The apartment above mine must be one they have designated as a "short term lease" apartment because the tenants change quite frequently, usually after only a few months. I have not had a decent night's sleep in months, possibly over a year. The floor of the unit above mine creaks horribly loud and the footsteps sound as if they are being amplified by a megaphone. I swear to you that I am not exaggerating when I say that it feels like I am living below a herd of buffalo. I have tried contacting the management company and asking them to fix the creaks and to add extra padding beneath the carpet; they apologized profusely and promised to do that as soon as possible. I have seen the tenants change since then and it is still just as deafening as ever so I don't think they made an attempt. If they did, it had no effect whatsoever. Sometimes I even feel like there is something in that apartment that posses the tenants because when they walk, they will go from one end of the apartment to the other over and over and over and over. Where can they be going, and why??? This is not just the current tenant, but at least the last three. It goes on way into the wee hours of the night. I have been suddenly awakened and kept awake by the herd of buffalo countless times at 2:00am, 3:00am or later. I believe the creaks must be in highly-used spots, such as in front of the kitchen or bathroom sink because, even when they are not walking, they will stand on that creaky spot for minutes at a time, making it creak non-stop. Look at my other reviews. You will see that I am not a hard person and I usually only write reviews when I have a recommendation, not a complaint. My original Trillium Point review was one such review, mostly of praise, but I cannot--in good conscience--leave it that way and subject some other unsuspecting person to this horror. My original review stating that the staff are extremely courteous and that they make [most] repairs quickly still stands; the neighborhood is great, and the prices are reasonable, but if you want any chance of being able to sleep at night, do not rent an apartment that has another unit above it. read more

Yes the grounds are nice and the apartment complex is quiet. Everything else is a headache (and that is an understatement). Yes the staff was kind of nice when we signed our lease, that changed shortly after. The staff..... very unprofessional. They flip flop with answers. They never seem to know anything. There is no customer service at all. They have been very rude and most of time nasty. Sometimes it feels like they go out of their way to be mean. If you do lease there make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing and make you get a receipt for everything. We would try to overcharge or try to make us pay twice. A hassle almost on the daily bases. I do NOT recommend. The staff are kind when first moving in, but they are the most unprofessional people. Don't let the beautiful grounds fool you, once you move in, it's a disaster! The walls are thin and you can hear everything around you. I can literally hear my neighbors alarm go off every morning. If you have a problem the staff like to blame the tenant. I have walked in on conversations with the staff bad mouthing other tenants before so I wonder what is said when someone is not there. This ENTIRE staff needs to be fired. ESPECIALLY the older lady with the blonde hair! When I walked in she was using swear language when talking about a tenant. This is unacceptable! If I was the manager they would all be replaced. They also let people record you with their Ring devices so my neighbor always knows when I am home and when I am not. This place may be convenient if you live in the Jackson area but it is way over priced and not worth the headache of ever living here! 10/10 do NOT recommend!!! read more

My girlfriend and I have lived in Trillium for a little over a year now. We have loved it except for the in house cable and internet. It's dish but the company is bloom and it cuts in and out sometimes and some of the people's mouths don't match up with the words. But that's not why I'm giving it one star. We actually just renewed our lease for another year a couple of months ago. We just had the person below us move out as soon as we renewed and another family moved in. Since then, it's hard to watch tv without hearing something bang into the wall, people talking loudly, the sliding glass door slamming, and the kids running around all hours of the night with no supervision. It's hard to do homework let alone sleep. I have made many phone calls to the office including two trips there. An on call worker came once to hear the noise and he said he could hear them just when he was walking up to our apartment on the third floor. He said he told them to quiet down and mentioned that there is another family like them in another complex and they let their kids do whatever. I even showed the office a video of me walking in the hallway and you could hear a crash when I paused in front of their door. This last phone call the office told me they could not evict them or do anything like that so I wrote an email to who I thought was corporate. I explained the situation and even mentioned that if they weren't going to do anything to at least let us move into a different apartment. Even though I hate moving but the position we are in sucks and I wouldn't wish this on anyone. A nice guy by the name of Fred responded and said he wanted to see the video. I showed him the video and he said he was going to talk to the family to see what's going on and hopefully resolve the issue. He called me back a couple of hours later, stated the family told him that we were the loud ones and asked if we could try not to take showers or do the laundry after 10pm we could come to an agreement and to maybe not record things with my phone in the hallway. I told him my girlfriend is a server and there is no telling when she gets home and when she does she is definitely taking a shower. Also, if she works the next morning she needs her work clothing clean so doing the laundry that late is sometimes a necessity. As for the phone issue, that's my right and I like recording especially in a situation like this. But then again what's the point if I get my proof on video? Nothing happens, and later I get accused of being the noisy one anyway. After thinking about what he told me, he pretty much told the other family if we could stop doing laundry and taking showers, that they should stop being loud and banging things against the walls. We have 10 more months here and I am not looking forward to another day. I will post another review if something gets done, but I won't cross my fingers based on the events right now. Very disappointed in how this issue was "Resolved". Consider yourself warned and if you have a loud neighbor... Have fun riding out the remainder of your lease with them.
