Fast forward to May 2019... I met with Sean. He seemed nice, very young, and not quite sure of himself. I ended up interviewing him. Turns out he was fairly new to the position, so I cut him some slack. Sean was pretty diligent in sending job opportunities my way, but I was pretty specific about what I wanted, where I wanted to commute to. During this time, I started working a temp position (not through AO), and stayed in touch with Sean. July 16, 2019, I got an "urgent" call from Sean. "I think I have the perfect position for you." Sean hooked me up with Ali Wadood. Apparently, Sean had been singing my praises (thank you!), and Ali wanted to present me to a position in Everett. I interviewed on the 18th. Job was offered on the 23rd. I started new position on the 24th! More money than I was asking for, 10 minute commute to/from work. Thank you Sean and Ali! I appreciate you both very much!!

It was supposed to be a 30-minute session to discuss my goals, but it ended in just five minutes. The person I spoke with seemed uninterested and dismissive from the beginning. When he asked about my visa status (I'm on OPT as an international student), his demeanor completely changed. He basically told me it wasn't going to work out without offering any advice or alternatives. He didn't even ask about my goals or what I wanted to achieve--he just focused on my visa status and made me feel like I didn't belong. If it's true that Apple doesn't accept OPT, then fine, but the way this was handled was frustrating and unprofessional.

Quite a few have a handful of friends, very little impressive jobs and no recommendations to note. Disturbed to go into my own linked in and see that someone employed by Opti Staffing- Tukwila, who had intentionally harassed our home multiple times and had charges filed on them was using the Opti company name to access my own personal work info. Even more alarming was this person was listed as a professional linked in recruiter when at 19/20 years old their own job experience was a prior bikini barista, work at dream girls, an attempt at only fans and a few months in retail. No possible way they would have the ability to decipher what a good candidate for employment would look like. Given this is the quality of recruiters hired by Opti Staffing of Tukwila I would steer clear of using their services based on their pick of quality/knowledge of recruiters. Hopefully the other recruiters are not of the same work experience. A recruiter at a minimum should have a stellar work record so they can filter good candidates. When you hire recruiter's with no relevant work experience and who have never held a job longer than a month or two with less than a cumulative years experience that shows the quality. Wondering what their hiring criteria is to become a recruiter given this?

Creative Circle is easily the best recruitment agency I've ever worked with!…read more I have been with them for over 10 years in different cities, and refer anyone I meet that's looking for work, to contact them. Opportunities range from short term assignments, long-term contracts, and contract-to-hire. Their agents are thoughtful, dedicated, and will help insure your resume & portfolio display your best attributes. They regularly contact you during work search and after placement to make sure your needs are met. Creative Circle is a brilliant concept. And, I believe there's ample room for the company to live…read moreup to their stated values. The actual people I have had the pleasure to engage with have always been lovely. But, my observation of their business model is that they are income-focused-first and relationship-focused somewhere much further down the line. Being more net-income-centric than human-centric resonates as more similar to "following" than "leading" in business, most certainly in the marketing world they represent, where consumers are critical and have endless options. Mine is, of course, just an anecdote, one experience. I have received dozens of invitations to apply for roles and I have responded to a select few, only those where the fit between my skillset and the work required was genuinely aligned. And, I've never received a response of any kind. There's a very modest time investment they make upfront, evaluating prospective employees', like myself, experience and expertise at the start of the relationship, then the 1:1 communication seems to end there. It's been disappointing. If I were ever asked "How can we improve?" I would offer that the opportunity for Creative Circle here, as I see it, is to reflect on your values as a company, take a look at the shifting marketplace, and create an authentically human-focused engagement environment where there's trust fostered, earned and realized between the employer, the prospective employee and the Creative Circle brand --- and the real-life humans behind that brand. I realize that's potentially a daunting task, perhaps one that eats into net income... but someone's out there trying to figure it out. Why not you? With all due respect, this has just been my experience. Perhaps others have enjoyed something more meaningful and valuable in their collab with Creative Circle. The other reviews here would suggest so, but I suspect there's a lot more folks out there who feel similarly but have too much else to worry about right now than a yelp review.

InConsulting is a lightweight agency that helps companies recruit and hire terrific software…read moreengineering talents. Okay, I might be a bit biased about the quality of the software engineering talent because I'm one of them. My team at Microsoft hired InConsulting to take care of their contracting needs and I cannot be happier with their services. They have a really quick turnaround and I feel very well taken care of. From the time I started working with them, they've been very up front about timeline, cost structure and other things that I needed to know. They're a small firm, so there's a personal touch to everything, which I think makes all the difference. My Microsoft hiring team is also happy because of the quick turnaround time and the fact that they're only charging an 8% rate (as opposed to the 25-35% industry standard). If you're looking for engineering talents for short- and long-term needs, I'd definitely recommend checking out InConsulting.

The folks that work at CompuCom are actually lovely people, no complaints on their people skills…read morewhatsoever. When they are in town, if you are one of their active consultants, they may even take you out for a (very nice) meal to thank you for your hard work. They also offer benefits to you, from the first day of employment. It's not top tier coverage, but it's far better than I've seen with any other staffing agency. If my rating was based on that side of things alone, I'd give them 5 stars. Unfortunately, there are three main negatives when it comes to CompuCom - 1. Their onboarding process is the most disorganized I've ever experienced. It took 1-2 hours of e-mail and/or phone tag per day, over two weeks, to finally get all my paperwork and benefits in order. It's not remotely user friendly and much of it cannot be completed online. You will also need to log into several websites regularly to keep track of things like paystubs, enrolled benefit info, timesheets, etc. Everything seems to have an entirely different portal, if it is online at all. 2. They go low on rates. You will probably be submitted at almost half the rate competing vendors are submitting candidates for, which *does* make you competitive but if you're qualified for the job you are missing out on a substantial amount of money. 3. Your first paycheck is sent as a hard check, no matter how far in advance you set up direct deposit. In my case, they didn't send me my first paycheck until I had worked 3 complete weeks.. If they smoothed out those few issues, it would be a great agency to work with.
