Super clear and professional. Calm and painless. Easy to schedule andDr Kate Huza explained clearly the plan, the process and the follow up. The office staff is helpful, cheerful. The equipment is very high tech and advanced and I appreciate the attentiveness of the team and the cozy Gramercy scale of the office. Chanelle and Sandy and Jenny are the front staff and management that helped me understand costing up front and helped with follow ups. I highly recommend this provider should you need a root canal, repair or apecoectomy. read more

I cannot recommend Dr. Lauren D'Elia highly enough. I was referred to her after developing a severe infection from a previous root canal that left me in tremendous, unbearable pain. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in expert hands. Despite the complexity of an infected root canal, Dr. D'Elia's calming demeanor and empathetic chairside manner immediately put me at ease. She is incredibly thorough and took the time to explain the imaging and my treatment options without any pressure. Her clinical skill is truly phenomenal--she was able to resolve the infection and treat the tooth with such precision that the relief was almost immediate. If you are dealing with dental pain or need a specialist for a complex root canal, Dr. D'Elia is the one to see. She is a board-certified professional who truly prioritizes patient comfort and high-quality care. Thank you, Dr. D'Elia, for saving my tooth and finally getting me out of pain! read more

I had a fantastic experience with Dr Lauren D'Elia D.M.D. She sorted out my root canal in one treatment. She was phenomenal. Can't recommend her enough. Thank you read more

I had a positive experience with Dr. Lauren D'Elia and 3D MicroEndo. I was seen on short notice as a referral when I had concern about possibly cracking a composite crown. The front desk was able to answer my questions regarding the cost of the visit and scan prior to being seen, including what portion my insurance would cover. I was seen ahead of schedule. The dental assistant and Dr. D'Elia were both very friendly and professional. I appreciated that Dr. D'Elia explained the imaging to me, and was realistic about what the imaging could and could not show. She gave me sound recommendations and offered to see me again and/or speak to my home dentist if my symptoms didn't resolve. The office promptly provided me a CD of my dental imagery, and offered to email it to my home dentist if needed. Although this was only one visit, I had a great experience. read more

I was seen yesterday by Dr. D'Elia after a traumatic accident that left me in need of 2 emergency root canals. As someone who has severe dental anxiety, I was so impressed by the way Carmen (the receptionist) immediately treated me with such compassion and understanding. Because it was a last minute referral from my Brooklyn dentist, I assumed that I was going to have to wait for a few hours to be seen. Dr. D'Elia was able to see me within 20 minutes, and I was in my procedure shortly after that. Dr. D'Elia had a wonderful bedside manner and made sure I felt completely safe and comfortable. I knew just from the way that she enjoyed her work and had so much confidence that I was in great hands. She was able to complete both root canals in under an hour and I was out the door. I cannot recommend this place enough (this is my first ever yelp review) and I have already told all my friends and family about my fabulous experience. Thank you so much 3D MicroEndo! read more

When you think about having to get a root canal it's not exactly something to look forward to. However, the two that I just had done was SUCH a breeze. Dr. Reisig is amazing. She's very informative, efficient, and kind. Both of mine were completed *each* within an hour and I felt no pain at all! It was a walk in the park. The receptionist (I wish I knew her name), is also so friendly and personable. If you need to get a root canal I highly recommend this office. It's also very clean with a nice ambiance which is important for me :). Thanks so much Dr. R! read more

Dr. D'Elia and her support team were utterly brilliant: it makes my jaw drop open again just to think how impressive their treatment was from beginning to end. After looking at the high-tech X-rays, Dr. D'Elia discussed my problem and presented the options without pressure. I decided on an immediate root canal, and although it sounds perverse, it was almost a pleasure to sit there with a view of Trinity Church while I received the most assured, thorough, humane, and sensitive treatment I can remember. When it was over, she warned me about the pain to come: 36 hours later I can report that I have not had a moment's pain, which is all but inconceivable following this mythically nasty procedure. I am in awe ... and almost look forward to my next orthodontic problem. I have absolutely no reservations about the 5 stars. read more

I had an accession surgery done at Tribeca Endodontics. Dr. Shamoon was a pleasure to work with and didn't have any issues during the surgery. I picked the office because it was in network for me. However, while I was on the patient's chair and getting local anesthesia shots, the staff told me that I need to send my biopsy to Rutger's University Diagnostics Services and there would be a fee but it's always covered by medical insurance. I asked them to confirm the lab is in network but they said I need to make a decision immediately before the surgery is started. A few weeks after the surgery was done, I get a bill in the mail. The lab that they choose does not accept ANY medical insurance assignments and patients need to pay out of pocket. Normally doctor's offices work with patients to ensure labs used are in network, this office did not. I wish I had known this beforehand. read more

Gettingg a root canal is exactly as much fun as getting a root canal, but they make it the best experience possible. Staff is friendly and professional, Equipment is latest technology, Office is clean and soothing. Work is well-explained and well executed. They should be the model for other practices. read more

AMENDMENT: Dr Jacobs' staff responded to my first review and as such I returned as a client. Dr. Jacobs was nice, kind, and patient. I can't go so far as to say I "enjoyed" my root canal, but her patient care skills won me over. I do not recommend this dentist. I was referred to TriBeCa Endodontics by my primary care dentist. I needed multiple molars evaluated and repaired. This is extremely costly, I am a graduate student and only working part time, my insurance was almost at its maximum, and I informed the dentist of the situation. His answer, was to ask my friends with money to help me pay. His insensitivity of the matter will keep me from ever returning to him. If he's that insensitive when dealing with my 1000s of dollars, why not give them to someone who is kind and understanding. read more

I went to see Dr. Jacobs today for a consult, because my general dentist had told me that my tooth might need a root canal, and that I need to see a specialist about it. After examining my tooth and my x-rays, Dr. Jacobs told me that at the moment I don't need a root canal, although I might need it in the future. I really appreciate it that she acted with such integrity. Furthermore, both the doctor and everyone in the office are friendly. I felt very comfortable there. read more

I am highly satisfied with the service provided by Tribeca Endo. Dr. Shamoon and her team were both proficient and patient from start to finish. I asked many questions during the consultation and Dr. Shamoon took the time to address all of them, including the more neurotic ones - they must meet nervous folk all the time but are clearly not jaded by this. I felt like she had all of the time in the world to make sure I understood what was going to happen and that I felt comfortable. On the day of the procedure they were running right on time - again, the Dr. explained the order of the day, made sure I understood and was ready to go, and then got to work. There was minimal pain during the novocaine administration (hey, it's a needle in your mouth) and then I felt nothing painful after it took effect. Dr. Shamoon checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout, and did excellent work. Once it was over, she again took the time to review the procedure and instructed me on aftercare and answered more neurotic questions. This Dr. and her team are absolute professionals, did high quality work, and made the entire root canal experience a pleasure - imagine that! read more

No one likes going to the dentist. And if you are sent here it means you are likely in some pain. So it is a relief that everyone in the office is very nice and helpful once you arrive, from the ladies at the desk (who remember you on the 2nd visit!) to the doctor and assistant. I also liked that the office was all digital; check in forms are on a laptop, x-rays, etc. Dr. Huza is fantastic! She was happy to explain the problem and the steps needed to correct it. She says she is a perfectionist and that is definitely a quality you want in an oral surgeon. I had a root canal and was fine later that day - could even eat something. The only downside is that it is very hard to find the office as it is not clearly signed. No where on the outside is their name, I had to call and ask them to buzz me in. read more

Been here twice for two root canals. Had Dr. Huza this last time. Both times were excellent. The staff both front desk and dental are lovely, kind and very good at explaining everything you need to know. It is so handy to the 1 Train at Franklin Street that even though it is downtown, I can still get there fairly quickly after work. Did this last root canal even though it took extra time. Instead of making me come back, she just stayed, and we finished up. Of course, she asked me first if I was up to continuing, and due to the care I had received so far, I absolutely was. Can't say enough good things about Tribeca Endontics. read more

If you have to get a root canal, you should consider Tribeca Endodontics. Dr. Hsin was kind, gentle and efficient. She treated my molar in just one appointment of about 90 minutes. Her office is clean, bright and calm with the latest in dental tech. I felt like I was in good hands start to finish with both her and her dental assistant. Even better: this practice takes my dental insurance so I'm not bankrupt from the bill. read more

Dr. Shamoon performed all four...yes I needed 4...of my root canals after I was referred to her by my dentist because of my complicated root anatomy. I had always heard horror stories about getting root canals, but I can honestly say that each procedure was easier and less painful than a routine cleaning. Dr. Shamoon explained each of the procedures that she needed to do, and the office was great with emailing instructions for post-RCT care. Hopefully I don't need any more anytime soon...or ever...but if I did I would absolutely go back to Tribeca Endo. read more

I went here for my first ever root canal. I don't think anyone relishes getting a root canal, and to make matters worse mine was very involved. While I certainly did not enjoy the procedure, my tooth now feels fine and the worst is behind me. Dr Jacobs made sure to numb me up with plenty of novacaine and made sure that I was not in pain. She gave plenty of time to allow the numbness to kick in. When it got rough she stopped and gave me more. She also explianed what she was doing in detail the whole time. The nurse was also compassionate and even held my hand (I am really squeamish) and squeezed my shoulder. When I left I got some pain pills, and she called me that night to make sure I was ok. So While I hated getting a root canal, this place was a good place for this necessary evil. Dr Jacobs is very good, it's the procedure that is rough. read more

Root canal used to synonymous with "the last thing I want to do, ever" but Dr. Audrey Hsin makes it a pleasant trip to a salon. Tribeca Endontics took my insurance, and her assistants are also gentle and efficient. read more

I didn't think I'd ever leave a glowing review for getting a root canal, but I had a really nice experience at Tribeca Endodontics with Dr. Huza. Scheduling a procedure wasn't bad, and the staff both here and at the 22nd street location were lovely. I felt that Dr. Huza took the time to explain everything and check in to see how I was feeling often. I didn't feel a thing for the actual procedure and felt comfortable the whole time. read more

Found out that I had a major crack in my tooth that was not addressed here after visiting a dentist to follow up. I wish this was not missed and checked more carefully by them the first time. read more

Friendly and nice. Root canal is generally scary thing but she made it easier for me!

I highly recommend Tribeca Endodontics, especially Dr Jacobs. I had needed emergency root canal 2 weeks before my wedding and she came to the rescue. She was able to find time with such short notice and even stayed late to perform the procedure. When it comes to pain, I get very nervous and overwhelmed. Dr. Jacobs went out of her way to constantly make sure that I was never in pain and always comfortable throughout the procedure. I hopefully will never need a root canal, but in the case that I do, Dr. Jacobs will be my first and only call. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Huza and her staff. I am so grateful for the care she gave me. I was seen for an extremely painful abscess on a Friday afternoon. They took me in immediately and accomodated my emergency treatment. The procedure was as comfortable as this sort of thing can be. I never waited, they ran costs for me ahead of time, and followed up later. Dr. Huza is kind, compassionate, and caring. I cannot recommend them enough! read more

Who knew a root canal experience could be so good you want to post a review about it? I saw Dr. Kate Huza for my first root canal. I was nervous but she was such a pro: talented, caring and explained everything to me before and during. The process was painless (seriously). It was so pain-free I almost fell asleep during it. Instead I got to catch up on the newest SYSK podcast while she worked on my back tooth. Dr. Huza must moonlight as a meditation instructor because her voice is so calming. Her assistant was great too and really caring. My appointment was at 9AM and I didn't have to wait at all. The cost wasn't as bad as I feared but my insurance did cover 50% of it. If you need to get a root canal, go here! read more

Just as pleasant as a root canal could possibly be. (This was my 4th so I'm in a position to judge - this was the best so far!) A modern, efficient, caring, and lovely experience. I told all my friends about Dr. Jacobs. read more

I found Tribeca Endodontics when I recently needed an emergency root canal during the worst rainstorm of the year; not the best day, but at least Yelp reviews led me here. Dr. Huza is possibly the nicest person in the world. Seriously. She did a great job and I'm no longer in pain. read more

Had Dr. Shamoon for root canal, very nice, friendly, and gentle definitely recommend! If I had to do another root canal would definitely come back to her! Gave a 4 star for overall experience only because getting the x rays and pictures from nurse could have been more gentle shoving it in the tight space of my mouth or say something to me when I am gagging or it hurts in my small mouth. read more

Went to see my dentist because I was having some on and off pain last week and ended up being referred back here for a root canal (yay). I had Dr. Arielle Jacobs this time and I couldn't believe how seamless this process was. Not only was the procedure painless, but Dr. Jacobs' talked me through everything. This helped a LOT because I was def a little anxious. It's been a few days now and I've had no swelling or discomfort. :) Not so glad I needed a root canal but glad I had it done here and she was able to save my tooth!! read more

This was my only root canal (hopefully), and it was still the most pleasant dr's trip I've ever had.

Dr. Shamoon is a wonderful dentist. She did everything she could to ensure I didn't feel pain during my procedure. Incredibly professional and explained everything before and after the root canal. She is very trustworthy and I highly recommend this practice. I've recently returned for a 2nd root canal on a different tooth and the treatment was borderline relaxing. I believe that Dr. Shamoon was a big part of that and I can't thank her enough for treating my teeth and giving such caring treatment. She is an asset to the practice and I hope they are treating her well there. read more

Dr Jacobs is just great! She made me feel very comfortable. I have to say she is great at what she does. I love that she followed up with me the next day to see how I was feeling. I would total recommend her to anyone! read more

Dr. Jacobs provided by far the best dental experience I have ever had. It's clear she has true concern for the well being of her patients. She goes the extra mile to ensure your are as comfortable as possible (which is hard considering there is a dental drill in your mouth!). She even follows up with you a couple of hours after the appointment to ensure you are doing ok. Of course being nice isn't enough - she very knowledgeable and takes time to explain your options to you and explain what she is doing. Her rates are very, very reasonable (I was only charged the insurance negotiated rate, which is much lower then other endodontists who tack on a couple extra 100 dollars above insurance rates). FYI, the practice also has offices in gramercy and the UES. read more

Kathleen huza is an amazing doctor. Very thoughtful and caring. She explained every consideration for my tooth very thoroughly ahead of making a recommendation. She made me feel heard and cared for. I would recommend her without hesitation! read more

Dr. Huza did surgery on my mouth to address an infected root canal. I have never encountered a medical professional like her before. read more

My 10 year old son had a root canal done by Dr Jacobs. I thought she was brilliant and all of her team very caring. I was watching the whole procedure and she explained everything very clearly to both me and my son. She also followed up with a phone call a few days later to see how he was which i thought was a really nice touch. And she took my insurance! I recommend her and her team very highly. read more

Dr. Kate Huza is absolutely the best endo in the city. If you are someone that shakes with fear at the thought of a dental procedure - you honestly must go see Dr. Huza. Not only is the office staff incredibly welcoming and flexible, but they are extremely understanding of how terrified one might get about a root canal (ahem, me). Dr. Huza explained everything to me in a preappointment, what my anesthesia options were, and allowed me to break my payments up over a couple of months. I cannot speak more highly of a medical professional and as someone who has worked in medicine for over 10 years, I give Dr. Huza and her practice the absolute highest rating without question. The root canal was praised by even my extremely discerning family dentist - high honors through and through. read more

I have never written a review before, but had such a great experience at this place that I felt I gad to give credit where credit is due. The entire staff was amazing! read more

I have never had any doctor or dentist take care of me as well as Dr Shamoon. I needed a root canal on a tooth with additional odd problems. It took three visits. She paid attention to every detail I gave her, and was attentive to every twitch or sign of pain. Has such a warm, truly caring way about her. And was so genuinely happy when I called after the second visit to let her know the pain was gone, like night and day. Has a very delicate touch, takes all the time in the world that is needed. And, educated at Columbia and Harvard, not some place you never heard of. Inspired such confidence that I got through three visits without nitrous, which I usually use just for a filling. (She does have nitrous if you need it.) I don't easily give unqualified compliments - I have some medical background and critique the several MD specialist I see; medical situations bring out my control issues. So - if you need an endodontist - She's the one! read more

I was originally referred to Dr. Huza by my regular dentist, but she was all booked up, so I saw Dr. Shimoon, who was absolutely wonderful! :) My teeth are terrible. That's a fact. The tooth in question had already been root-canaled but somehow it was causing me the worst pain I had ever known. Dr. Shimoon took an x-Ray, showed me the huge infection I'd managed to acquire and talked me through my options and explained everything thoroughly. She even called my regular dentist while I was still in the chair to let her know what was going on. Billing was spot on and punctual. Admin staff very friendly and wait time very short. Whilst I'm glad I didn't need a root canal this time, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Dr. Shimoon if I did! read more

I am such so dentistry-phobic that I barely want to write this review, because I don't want to recall any procedures on my teeth. Terrified and sweating, I met with Dr. Huza. She is ridiculously nice and gentle and gave me all the things to help me not feel pain, anxiety, or discomfort. If you need a root canal, she is your person. She was so caring and gentle. As good as such torture could be. She even gave me her cell # to call if I needed her afterwards. Above and beyond the call of duty. If you gotta do it, do it here. Thanks Dr. Huza! read more
