Today I finally decided to check out and see what it's all about. It's very welcoming and they offer both indoor and outdoor dining. They have a full-fledged bar with all of your drinking special needs. I was super surprised to know that they sold citywide. They have a brunch menu and a really easy to read lunch and dinner menu. Well here I ordered a Mexican city by which is a Tecate and a shot of tequila with life. And I order the muscles work linguine and white garlic butter sauce. My waiter was super cool. The bathrooms are really clean. And my food came out absolutely amazing. They give you just the right amount of Pasta muscles. The muscles were really fresh and huge and the butter sauce is full of flavor. Our kids love the vegan wings, and the other vegan options are also very good. The food is always ready or close to ready when we arrive, and always warm and fresh. We usually order take out instead of eating in, because the atmosphere isn't ideal in the family dining area. Street parking can be hard sometimes, but you can sneak a spot in the supermarket parking lot across the street for a quick pick up if/when you need to. read more

It turned out to be the perfect place to hang out - a classic, and even somewhat classy, neighborhood joint. We all liked it so much that we hit the place a total three times in the four days that we were in Philadelphia! My friends and I came here on a Friday night for some beer and dinner, and we had a great experience! I had been to Triangle Tavern before for a drink, but this was my first time eating there. I was so excited by all of the vegetarian and vegan options on the menu - I wanted to order them all! From the outside I pictured a dive bar. Inside was a newly renovated looking bar/restaurant with an neighborhood bar feel, an Italian leaning menu (sunday "gravy" special anyone?), delicious sounding vegan options (weird right? ), friendly servers, and a great vibe. Clientele varies in age. We tried the hibiscus, peach, and original (lemon) water ice and all were delicious (hibiscus was the crowd fave). Glasses go for $6 or $7 and pitchers for $24 ish? Unfortunately you can't get the water ice to go (we asked because it was so delicious). And yea, there's definitely booze in there. How has no one else thought of this?! Came here Monday night with some friends for the first time and enjoyed our meal of a little of everything. There are many vegan options on the menu, none of us are vegan, and we enjoyed a couple of them! I had the largest chicken wings of my life here, followed by a burata salad, mussels (they weren't too big and the red sauce was perfect) and finally a meatball sandwich. I really appreciate being able to go out with non-vegan loved ones and we both enjoy our meals! Everyone knows that this is a vegan destination in the city. I just want to sing the praises everyone else has given. The best vegan wings in the city. I stopped here cause I was going to a show near by. It was crowded on a Saturday night but we didn't have to wait to be seated outside. They have a wide sidewalk so you don't feel crowded by people just walking around. They also have the outside decorated with some flower boxes which are cute. My husband and I both got beers. They have a good selection of draft and cans, you can definitely find something you like. The food is Philly bar food but it's very good veganized Philly bar food. My husband and I split a vegan cheesesteak and an order of wings (50/50 buffalo and barbeque). Food is top notch and I don't have to worry about missing out on cheesesteak culture. I will be back but I need to explore more of South Philly. The wait staff was excellent and friendly. read more

It's a bar and restaurant so the ambiance is dark but they have lights throughout and a few TVs. Our server was witty and made a few vegan jokes when I asked his help choosing between a vegan meatball sandwich and wings. He recommended the meatball sandwich and I got fries with vegan cheese whiz. The meatball sandwich was amazing. I eventually ended up just eating the meatballs out of it and the vegan cheese whiz is something out of my dreams. My husband had a meatball sandwich with mozzarella cheese and said that his food was fantastic. No-nonsense bar with italian cuisine. Drinks are always a good price, the food is always decent, the service is always decent, the crowd is always a little alternative. They serve food late so especially in these COVID times the people who are there are always the people who want to keep drinking/eating well past midnight. It's always a bit dim inside but that kind of adds to the general late-night ambience, which can alternate from sleepy to madcap drunk depending on the night. I would say this is the best bar to get some late-night food in the Passyunk area, so it's always a good option to remember if you happen to be out at 12:30 drunk and looking for a bite. read more

So so disappointed. My last visit included great food and courteous, peppy and fun service. This visit, not so much. The food was under par, and poor service just made it worse. There were only about 6 tables that were seated and we waited 25 minutes for a Cesar salad that had so much garlic it was inedible. They brought the chicken parmesan and eggplant parmesan at the same time as the salad, so they got cold. Both parms were overcooked, rubbery, and difficult to cut with a knife, even the eggplant.
