I have not been to Triangle Square in what feels like a lifetime. I used to live right down the street and remember when Triangle Square was really popular. Sadly, I think it's gone downhill over the years. I see so much potential for what it could be, but it's just not. I do think the Western Bar was a good edition and Seville is nice too. But, it feels really run down. When I went today, none of the escalators were operational and they were extremely dirty with gum stuck all over. I'm not sure if the elevators were working or not, or maybe just really slow! I could not find a public bathroom, and still not sure if one existed. I'd love to see Triangle Square get some shops, maybe a dirty soda shop or ice cream. I think it is a great location and has so much potential. read more

Dump. Broken elevators and broken escalators and puddles in the garage. Why don't the landlords maintain this place.

There are a good variety of restaurants, physical fitness locations and a bowling alley. The parking is a problem because the escalators have not been working for several months. An elevator is available, but really slow to arrive because of 6 levels accessed through two levels of underground parking. No stairs between the levels eliminates any other option for customers. Please repair the escalators, they are vital to the businesses that operate there. read more

This complex must've looked great on the drawing board but layout, navigation & parking has been a disaster for 30 years, multiple owners, and periodic facelifts and "re-imaginings" How many more decades of this before City of CM accepts it's a been failed doomed experiment lol. I feel like I may just be a total blonde... but I was pretty confused by "The Triangle". I havent been in this area is so many years, since it was Triangle Square. I was not prepared for the parking structure parking, but at least was able to find a spot very easily.... on Sunday morning at 10:30am. Once I parked, I had a hard time figuring how to get anywhere. I realize this is probably just me, and Im OK with that, but it was a bit frustrating. I will say, the free parking in the structure was a nice surprise. I met a friend at the Tavern and Bowl place, for a quick game of bowling. We decided to walk around the area afterwards, while waiting for another friend for lunch. We returned to The Triangle for lunch, and at the elevators, it was a bit more easy to figure out what level you needed to be on.... but still a little tricky. The bowling alley was fun, it was nice and quiet on a Sunday morning - but I can see this place getting crazy. We had lunch at Saddle Ranch Chop House, and other than that the only place I really saw from the street was I think Yard House. I think if you are coming here knowing where you are going, you will figure it out, but I wont be rushing back here... Before yesterday, I hadn't been to The Triangle (it'll always be Triangle Square to me) in probably over a decade. Why the lapse? Well, for many solid years, there was nothing worth visiting this centre for. Over the past year/year and a half, it's really come back to life. And the establishments look like they might last! This is definitely a place to come if you're in the mood for food, or seeking some beverages. Between Saddle Ranch, El Corazon, and Yard House, you can eat, eat, eat and drink, drink, drink. I came here for brunch at one of the restaurants, but definitely want to come back for some evening fun. Saddle Ranch and El Corazon have outdoor seating, which is great for the summertime. Feel free to also catch a flick at the cinema (I think it's an older cinema, I THINK, so you might want to read reviews on that separately.) I've been to the Triangle on a number of occasions, to go places such as Yardhouse, Saddle Ranch, H2O, 24 Hour fitness, Sutra, and a few other ones. I've never had any unpleasant experiences, but many great, epic experiences here! It's a marvelous place to go to if you're coming here to relief your long and stressful day at work or a place to hang out with friends... They have quite a variety of selections of various food and drinks (including Mexican, Asian, American). They also have a good selection of entertainment (including a pool hall, a club, a movie theater, and even a mechanical bull!) I've been on the bull before and it's a must go if you have not tried it! I've never had any parking issues with this structure and as and added bonus, it's free to park at the structure! (unlike Anahiem Gardenwalk) I know it can get quite challenging on Friday and Saturday nights but i've always managed to find parking without a problem.. This is a great place! It's been remodeled and it's a really great hang out spot. It's just off the freeway and easy to locate. The indoor parking structure is free and spots should be easy to find if you come right before dinnertime. Pretty crowded most of the time. It's a pretty big space, which is great for walking around. Lots of outdoor seating. Clean and things look very new. They have a variety of restaurants, shops, nightclub, movie theater (5 dollars all day Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and bowling alley here. Great night life! I used to go to the movie theatre a lot when I was in junior high and early high school and since then it has changed so much! Not only did they re-do the movie theatre, but everything else as well. Most of the space used to be empty and it had a really poor late night crowd to where it was almost dangerous to walk to your car at night through the parking garage, now it's not that way at all. With so many restaurants, the movie theatre, and bowling alley, this is a great place to go any night of the week. The food options are all really great, each with a unique vibe and fun atmosphere. Even on weeknights you will find people there and on certain days they have deals at the restaurants and bars to bring people in, making any time a good time to go and mingle with a different crowd. Although the parking can be tough because it's such a popular place to go after work hours, they have a really large garage and people are always coming and going, you just have to be patient. The car wash is only available Thursday thru Saturday from 5:00PM to Midnight (if you are thinking those are funky hours, you would be correct) and you get free valet parking (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-triangle-costa-mesa?select=pKSTmDoPP2J0Ql5yGozR3A#WWgTeAd8c4fJdJq8EgOVJg ) with a car wash. Valet will run you $6.00 before and $10 after 10:00PM and valet is available 7 days a week. Upon arrival, I presented my complimentary wash card to the valet, I was given a claim ticket and informed it would take between 1 1/2 and 2 hours to clean the car. 2 hours? What are they doing? Cleaning the car with toothbrushes? Rohlinism: It is better to not ask a question than to get an answer you didn't want to know! Too late now, guess I should have asked before I drove this far out of my way. The only thing left to do is to see what The Triangle has to offer in the way of entertainment. My better half plans on using her complimentary car wash in the future. In the end, this is probably going to be attractive to locals mostly on the weekends, but there is nothing here that would catch the eye of a tourist and if you are not coming here to eat, your options are very limited. Bad form on management of triangle square. Not only is the PARKING horrific signage and security is lacking. So many bars and you can not leave your car over night. They will tow you even if you are at triangle square. Under paid security and kick downs by the tow truck companies. Don't have a spontaneous night there or just check it out because you will get towed. As well as my car got broken into and so much property stolen . The Triangle is an outside mall located in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa area. It's a bit smaller in size but there are still several things to do here. Usually when I come it's for dinner or to see a movie. In my opinion, it has one of the best movie theaters around the area. If you are looking for a place to hang out with friends in family to get some drinks or dinner, this is definitely a place for you to check out. Parking here can be a bit difficult as it's a tight squeeze in the parking structure. However, I always tend to find parking. Overall, it's definitely a fun place with a great atmosphere. There are a few smatterings of retail stores but with its new reincarnation, the Triangle is coming into its own. The flagship restaurants are the Yard House, Saddle Ranch Chop House, and El Corazon. Sutra is also located here but it's just a club that I no longer frequent. The movie theater has discounted movies on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The parking lot can be challenging but there are multiple exits and entrances. It's located across the street from Goat Hill Tavern. There are more and more hip offerings here and I can see why it needed a long overdue facelift. read more

DO NOT PARK OVERNIGHT. Went to triangle Thursday night had some cocktails and decided to leave my car. Went back Friday morning to get my car decided to have lunch at triangle and go shopping at the Halloween store went to get car and it was towed. Do you encourage drunk driving. The security guard pointed out signs that were faced in word on the pillar not even buy any parking spots. $250 and had to drive all the way to Garden Grove the tow truck scratched my car.
