It was a significant project, and Tim earned every bit of the five stars. We ran a three-bid process. The big corporate outfit came in $3-4K higher and left the drywall work completely open-ended. The budget option was priced so low I genuinely couldn't figure out how it got done professionally and legally. Tim landed right in the middle -- and more importantly, his walkthrough gave me confidence. He spent about 45 minutes taking hand notes, asked the right questions, and clearly understood the full scope of what we were dealing with. What stood out was how Tim worked with us, not just for us. We supplied the Benjamin Moore paint, the colors, and the locations -- he handled the rest. Because I was running other parts of the renovation simultaneously, we worked in tandem with flooring, cabinet refinishing, and countertop crews. Tim navigated all of it without drama. When we changed our minds mid-project and decided to remove a kitchen backsplash, he pulled the tile, reworked the drywall, primed, and painted -- without tacking on a major change-order upcharge. He painted doors and swapped out hinges and handles. He touched up paint after fixtures went in. He even built and painted a cubby door to close out a utility space. Every time we called an audible, he adapted. His team was clean, quiet, and effective. Drywall, priming, trim work -- it just got done. They were respectful of the HOA's noise restrictions, parking rules, and color requirements, and were always professional around neighbors and family members stopping by. After checking on his reviews here and elsewhere, we decided to hire Nick and move ahead. Nick and his team showed up at the date and time scheduled. After setting up, everyone left for other worksites except for the guy Nick had assigned to do the work here. Removing wallpaper is a miserable, messy task but he did a great job, and went around and fixed the problem areas after. Nick uses Sherwin Williams superpaint and we were really happy with the result and coverage. (Nick also has cards at the local Sherwin Williams store, which was a good sign).
