Extremely disappointed with the quality of customer care Alex & Sons Painting "provided." The owner, Alex does not communicate well. He quoted me and explained he was very busy for the month of May. This was fine. He told me that if he could not do the month of May 2023, he would do the first weekend of June. This was a standard conversation, knowing the demand in Spring. After that conversation in the beginning of May, I got *zero* communication from them. No updates if May would work or even confirming the first weekend as promised by Alex. It was complete radio silence. When I say radio silent, I mean completely ghosted by a contractor. Ultimately, I texted Alex asking if he still wanted the job? He finally texted back stating he was was too busy and could not do the job. I waited weeks holding out for this company when I could have found a painting company that could do the job in a timely manner. This has been a horrible experience with this company. read more

We had Alex's company paint our entire house one color and they did a great job! They were punctual and each person had a friendly demeanor. The price was exceptional for the quality of work done. They moved all the furniture, brought in extra guys in when necessary, and they are trustworthy. I called three painting companies for an estimate to paint over 90's faux orange/tan color in my dining, living room, hallway and foyer. Alex and Sons responded to my email on a Saturday. Alex came by with the color swatch book on Monday. He scheduled my paint job for the Thursday of same week and completed the job in one day. Alex and Sons is an excellent team that works together to get the job done efficiently and professionally. They did a beautiful job and I highly recommend them for any of your painting needs. We just had the exterior of our two story house painted by Alex and his crew. This was the first time for painting our house in 15 years. We went with a different color and were so pleased with the quality of workmanship by this company. Alex was great to work with and very professional. I saw an earlier review and was sorry that this person did not have the same experience. This company has come highly recommended in our Elmhurst neighborhood. The attention to detail was impressive. They pressure washed and cleaned the entire house, garage and all gutters and downspouts. They removed the downspouts and labeled them for more precise paint job. We can't say enough about how pleased we are with end result. We highly recommend this company. Their prices are competitive and reasonable. The quality of their is work is outstanding. The entire crew is professional, skilled and polite. We as well as some of the other loft owners hired them to paint some areas of our loft and they do excellent top notch work! Alex and sons recently finished painting my 4500 square foot home including all trim, ceilings, walls and doors. They also repaired any damage to any walls or ceilings before painting. We hired Alex and Sons to paint the outside of our home last summer. After getting many estimates and speaking with all of their teams, I found that Alex and Sons was both the best priced and most experienced. After we agreed to hire them to do out exterior, they scheduled a date that was about a week out. We picked out the colors for the siding and trim. They brought a large team that was very friendly and had the job done in about two days. This was not a small job. They were extremely hard working and paid attention to detail. They went above and beyond our expectations on our job. I am writing this review now to follow up on the project. After almost a year we had a few touchup spots that popped up due to weather. I reached out to them and they were on site within a few days to fix the areas that needed it. We had just purchased a home on an estate sale and it needed some serious TLC including paint and drywall joint repair on ceilings that are over 20ft high. We are so happy to have found Alex and his crew. Quoted price was competitive with other quotes we had received. They painted the very tall walls and ceilings with ease, even painted a large chandelier for us which totally updated its look, front door, and our large deck. This crew works hard, is polite, and makes sure they leave the job site nice and neat. They use Benjamin Moore paints that are low odor which was important as we have a newborn. What I liked about Alex over other companies we had received quotes from is that he was more than just about doing the task; he also gave some really great suggestions on colors/accent areas. We get so many compliments on our house from visitors thanks to Alex and his crew.
