I had never been to Transitions before. My only connection was through my daughter's mother, whose grandfather had been there, and her family spoke highly of their experience. Initially, we were told my dad's condition wasn't imminent enough to qualify, so he was sent home and were under the care of another hospice agency with very nice people. However, once my dad's condition began to decline, I knew we needed to make some readjustments, and I am so thankful that we were able to allow for my dad's journey to end with Transitions. I cannot say enough about the level of care, consideration, and bedside manner. I can't say enough about the support they offered my family during this difficult season in our lives. This is a no-brainer recommendation. If you have a family member whose time on Earth is coming to an end and you're looking for a place where you can feel comfortable knowing they're being taken care of, then you really don't need to look any further.

I reached out to Miss Stella upon researching adult day programs here in Raleigh. Stella was so kind. She listened. She was responsive to all questions and this allowed for a smooth transition for mom when she arrived in Raleigh. She had been attending an adult day care program in Jacksonville NC and I was worried she would struggle acclimating to a new environment. I have been so impressed with the staff here. Nursing, day support, nutrition etc. and the directors are all phenomenal. Responsive and professional. I appreciate how they always keep me informed with updates. The Saturday Day Break program gives me an opportunity to have time for myself and mental well being as a caregiver. I can spend time with my child while mom is attending program. Without this program I am unsure how I would cope with all the changes in our lives. My mom looks forward to attending all week long. I am thankful she has a place to go where she feels comfortable and I don't have to worry about her care while working. Senior Resources & Total Life Center has been a blessing in our lives.

This meant Physical Therapy, learn how to go up a few stairs, transfer into car, recover enough to come home in a week or two. He never got more than 15 minutes of PT per day. PER DAY. The food was dreadful. The food was cold. When he asked for coffee or anything it never arrived at all OR it was stone cold. They told us he was eating well and doing great. He was barely eating anything as the food was so bad and stone cold. He asked to have help taking a shower multiple times, no one ever helped. He also asked to have his bed sheets changed, no one did so. He ended up back in the hospital as no one there would listen or help him or tell us the truth as to how he was doing. He called 911 to come and get him as he was maltreated, malnourished and not helped one iota. His days there extended his overall recovery. The staff had no clue what was going on. Run fast from this place - and don't look back. I would give this DUMP a zero if I could.
