My service dog and I were confronted by the owner and told that he would need to see my dogs…read moreregistration. I tried explaining to him that there was no such thing as valid registration and it's not required, to which he responded that she needed to have a vest on, which is also not true. It was 103 degrees out, and her only vest is thick and not very breathable as we are not from eastern Washington. I told him that he was wrong, to which he responded "no, you need to leave" over and over while pointing at the door. My dog assists in cardiac alert and severe panic attacks. She was quiet and in a down stay during this entire encounter.

AFRICAN AMERICANS BEWARE! Especially if you are female! I took my car here for a flat tire. The…read moreservice guy took the nail out of my tire and put my tire back on my car and charged me $30. I leave, driving not even .1 miles away and same tire is flat again. I took my car back to this establishment and the guy says there is another nail in the same tire and that I needed to pay him an additional $30 and that it was normal for people to bring there cars back 3 and 4 times to get the same tire fixed. This is a SCAM! I have been driving for 41 years and have had flat tires fixed many times but have never run into a SCAM like this before. It is raining today but I refuse to go back even if my tire is flat again. So far I've paid $60 and I'm not even sure my tire is fixed. This is absolutely a SCAM and from this day forward, this business is cursed for taking advantage of people like me!! Times are different now, people do not get away with SCAMS anymore. If anybody knows what governmental agency to send these sort of complaints, please let me know. Again, maybe they treat other people fairly but if you have any melanin in your skin, don't take your car to this SCAMMING and now CURSED business!

This gas station covers a long stretch of Route 2 spanning Douglas County. It has a small…read moreconvenience store with cold soda and beer, and the usual candy and snacks. Reasonable prices on fuel and adjacent is a commercial fueling operation owned by the same family. They have a full kitchen and between 9 and 3 make hamburgers from cows the family raises right in Waterville. They also have chicken sandwiches and a few other choices. The gas station supports Waterville math and science teaching in the town K-12 school. Yes, K-12 all in one building. Waterville is a still going concern with dry wheat farming - no irrigation, alfalfa and cattle run on BLM land. Nice solid old homes and a small main street in town. This is the place to get your gas, and a burger! (This station was previously branded Shell - now it's Exxon, tomorrow another brand, same family)

Today at your Exxon store in Waterville, WA I experienced racism by a fellow patron and the clerk…read moreworking the counter. This was such a terrifying event I forgot the items I was purchasing on the counter when your clerk kicked me out of your store. Here's the scenario. I stood in line waiting for a young man to finish his transaction. There was an older man with his back turned to us all shopping the automotive items hanging on the wall. The older man grabbed his selection as the young mans transaction was finishing up and he was turning to exit the store. I stepped to the side in order to allow the young man to pass. As I stepped to the side, the older man tossed his item on the counter and gave the clerk an odd look as though he was trying to avoid eye contact with me. So I stepped forward and let the clerk know that I was here in line before this man and that I intend to be helped before him. I told the man that I was in a hurry and that I viewed his actions as "privileged". At that point your clerk interjected and told me "you need to stop". At which your customer chuckled and stated "yeah you need to shut your mouth". I felt as though that was a threat since he was accompanied by several young men and his tone was threatening. He was quite a bit larger than me and entered my personal space and looked down on me. Although I felt challenged I turned to him and stated "or what?" At which point your clerk told me "that's it! Get out". I was shocked and scared and didn't realize I had paid for the items and left them on the counter and left the store.
