What an awesome hidden in a Chevron gas station! Pat and Mike's offers GIANT (and I mean giant!! We saw someone order a large cup and it was basically almost an entire pint of ice cream smooshed into a cup for $5). scoops of quality ice cream at an amazing price with a mind-blowing selection of flavors. Try the strawberry cheesecake flavor - that's probably the best of the lot although the others like cotton candy, sour punch, salted caramel cold brew and maple nut were all good as well. I'll have to try their ice cream next time. This is a nice, clean convenience store/gas station on the south end of Chelan on the road towards Entiat. Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was clean. What makes this place stand out from the competition is their humidor! Granted, cigars are cheaper at the convenience store in Manson, owned and operated by a regional Indian tribe, but what they gain in price, they more than lose to Pat and Mike's in selection. Additionally, the humidor is well kept, humidity is right, and they obviously care for a fine cheroot every now and then. Granted, it's not a huge walk in unit like a dedicated cigar shop, but for a small town convince store it is a very pleasant surprise. Came here to refill my propane it was around 840pm which is dark outside but they are still open and I asked the girl if she can fill my tanks which takes no more then 5 minutes nobody is in the store. She told me no. I told her please it's my only source of heat and it's 30 degrees outside please she said no. I think it was closing time and she was too lazy to do her job. Was ending our 4th of July weekend by stopping here to fuel up on our way out of town. We ended up noticing that our car was overheating and ran into a perfect storm that landed us in a spot where we couldn't get out of town, and ended up spending numerous hours here. We had the chance to experience a better than expected burger & nice bathroom facilities. The staff, especially Jimmy, was very helpful with offering suggestions on a local mechanic and other local amenities. Jimmy and another staff member even helped us push our car into an overnight lot as well as offered a ride to the hotel we had booked while we waited for a tow. The waffle cone was piled high with Rocky Road, however the waffle cone fell apart on the way home. Had to stop on the side of the road to clean up the mess.
