I brought my car in and asked for them to fix the underside of my car due to damage from debris on 95. They replaced the front underside and completely ignored the part being held up by duck tape. They then told me it was all fixed. I'm not sure why they thought it was ok to leave it like this but I would avoid the blind mechanics at this location who missed this. Do not come here. Just under two years ago I brought my 2007 Acura TL in for a compressor replacement and got quoted just under $2,000, which is a great estimate. They knocked the repair out and I had a date lined up for the following week. On my way back from said date my engine overheated and then I was quoted $6,000 to replace it. I went rate-shopping, found something better, and got it knocked out at Schlenker's (Rockledge) for $1500 less. While on a trip to Pensacola this last week, my compressor completely died. If you want a mechanic, don't go here, they have about as many loyal customers as a Healthcare company. read more

These guys are con artists. AAA claims they are one of their "Select" shops. Select??????????? BS!! They are over-priced, charge for work they do not do or didnt need done. My impression of this shop is fair at best, and I would provide a word of caution to those who choose their services. They are good mechanics, and most of the staff is very polite. They were also very quick to service my truck. However, this being said there were two main issues I have with this shop, and as such I will never come back plus will not recommend them to any of my friends as well. First, when my supplied brake parts did not fit, they called me to recommend NAPA approved replacements (which was fine). They choose 250$ rotors which to me seemed high, because I have replaced rotors on other trucks in the past. Looking up my truck on NAPA, prices ranged from $146 - $236. When I asked why prices were so high and could they use the other NAPA approved part and they said no they would not be willing to entertain installing another NAPA approved part, just the peak performance version. Second, the gentleman over the phone, who I believe was the shop manager (I think his name was Louis?), when asked about the use of only the premium part, and inquiring about the price started going off on a long series of insults to include: my stupidity for ordering a kit which had wrong parts (this turned out not true when I installed the rotor in my driveway after I got my truck back), that I was arrogant and did know what I am doing, and that only he knew what was best because that is what his shop computer showed... etc. His insults were not acceptable and really served to hurt my impression of this shop even though everything else went fine. Overall, if you do choose to use this shop, be cautious of the parts they choose for you, and watch out for Louis. read more

DO NOT USE THEM... they are NOT honest people. When I went to pick up my car from them on Friday after closing, because I work till 7pm, there was a screw in my tire. So I called on Monday 8am because they are closed all weekend and asked them to replace it and the boss man cursed me out and said I couldn't prove it was them, and he was going to tow my car if I didn't pick it up by noon and then hung up on me. I immediately contacted the local dealer to see if they could get me in--they were completely booked for the entire week. First thing in the morning, contacted AAA; they recommended Triangle Auto. I immediately contacted Triangle Auto and they said they would look at my car as soon as the tow truck dropped it off. Within 30 minutes of the car being picked up, I got a call with the problem correctly identified, a fair price provided, and a promise to have fixed the same day. A couple of hours later I received a call notifying me my car was ready! The customer service, responsiveness, and value was above and beyond what I could have hoped for in every aspect. Dangerous place to have do any work on anything except maybe bicycle. They are not mechanics at best they are parts changers. Had my truck for 4 days did more damage than when I bought it there. They sent me on my way with a fuel leak from a line that was not secured. Very dangerous. read more

Watch out people, don't bring your car here! They will rip you off. They checked my AC for $70 and said compressor was bad and it would cost $1425 to replace it. I went to the Banana River Automotive & marine, the shop right next to them and It only cost me $135 to replace a little plug inside the fuse box. So if you don't know much about cars like me, please don't bring it there! Much like Doc V in April 2021 we had Triangle fix my sons car that was shaking on the passenger side front wheel and had steering issues. They fixed the steering and said needed 4 tires because they were separating. Spent over $700 for repair and car was still shaking. It got worse and had car towed to them. Now they said another $800 plus to do brake work and we never told them a braking issue. I asked we told them issue on right side and they hung up. We took car to Banana near them who are honest and it was the caliper locking up which was always the main issue that they had no clue on diagnosing. My son could have been injured driving due to their incompetence! AVOID them!! read more

They tried to upcharge me 3 times original quote and tell me there were issues they required more parts. After calling them out on their B.S. and told them to reassemble and id pick up truck and do it myself, they called back 5 minutes later and could miraculously do it with parts on hand. imagine that? read more

My car was leaking oil and I brought it in for them to look at. Mandy told me it was my head gasket and that they were not going to be able to fix it. I ended up bringing it to another shop where they diagnosed that it was only a bad oil sensor. They replaced the sensor and the car has been fine ever since! First, let me say that I am visiting from NYC and saw my Mom get ripped off by this place so I decided to write a review. I got to Merritt Island, where I grew up, and the same day I'm standing by my mother's van and I hear something blow up, it almost sounded like a car tire or something. So we checked under the hood and saw a bunch of green liquid everywhere. My family knows nothing about cars, so we had to take it in. Because my father likes to do things the same way for his whole life, we brought it to Triangle Auto, where I know from when I was a teenager and had brought my car in for broken head gaskets, etc., we have gotten ripped off and overcharged more than a few times IMO (this after asking other mechanics how much they would charge for the same problem) Anyway, this last incident really agitated me. We brought the car in and the next day Triangle calls back and says the computer they hooked it up to says "nothing was wrong." We get the car back, and the air conditioning doesn't work. THAT WAS THE PROBLEM! So we called them back and explained that 90 bucks would have gone a long way in helping our air conditioning problem had they diagnosed the problem correctly, but instead, Bob, one of the owners (I think) asked my mother if, "she knew the overhead at this place." First of all, that's bad business for people who have come to this place for more than 15 years. We were also waved off while Bob was on the phone while we were there (we went right back in when the air conditioning didn't work), so we actually had to call back and express our frustrations because they couldn't make time for us while we were there. I give this place a 1 star rating b/c that's the lowest you can go. Honesty, I wanted to take matters in my own hands, but I figured writing a review and telling everyone I know in town, as well as never having any family member of mine go back, is good enough justice. Louis welcomed me warmly and had Tom perform an oil change for my car. Daniel did a 24 point inspection and discovered I was low on windshield washer fluid, needed my wiper blades replaced, and made sure the tires had proper air levels. I was made to feel welcome, and they had a big screen TV to watch while I waited. I was out in 30 minutes. I feel safe knowing that they inspected my car and found no other problems. read more

My son has had his 1993 Ford F250 diesel serviced at this shop on two occasions. First time, he had them check for a non-starting problem which had stumped the previous owner. They found the problem and instead of charging for the installation of a part which the blogs said was the issue, they installed a relatively inexpensive part for a minimum labor charge. Second time, he brought the truck in for repair for an overheating issue, A/C system, and power steering. The radiator was pressure tested and passed but while removing the radiator to fix the power steering they called and noted that the radiator was rusted and asked whether we wanted it replaced as the cost of a new radiator install was required for the power steering repair and we would not have to pay for the broken hose which had caused the overheating. 12 month:12,000 miles warranty. The shop is very busy, but there is no wait to bring a car in for service, and the work is done in a timely fashion. read more
