I took my van there for a rebuild. Wrong…read more Got it back and it leaked constantly. I took it back after a while. The hag at the desk didn't even want to help me despite the warranty, saying I should have come back within 10 days. Nice to know. The technician who did the work looked at it anyway since I put up a resistance to her BS (warranty is warranty). Inspects it and comes back saying it's leaking out the slip yoke and implying it's my problem. Well, I dug into it and find the -real- problem is that my "rebuild" was really a "swap" and did not contain the sleeve and O-ring around the tailshaft that has been a designed feature of EVERY TRUCK 700R4 AND 4L60E EVER PUT IN. Chose to lie to me about whose fault it is, he had to have known about this (been going on since the '80s). So attempted denial of warranty service, then actual denial of warranty service for a problem that is entirely their fault. Do not come here. Do not take their word for anything. Documents or hardware they will lie to your face just to avoid their responsibility.

They were friendly and said it would be a few days (4-5) because they were very busy. I received a call 3 days later that they had my transmission out and were in the process of rebuilding it and found that an oil pressure sensor at the back of the engine was leaking and they would replace it for the price of the part. I agreed and then they called me back later that day to tell me my truck was ready to go. I was impressed that they were able to get my truck done before they said they would. The transmission is excellent and no more oil leaks on my driveway. I've put over 15,000 miles on it since then and it's just as good as the day I picked it up. Very pleased.

Took my 1996 Ford F350 dually to have a break repair. Shop said they did a complete rear brake job…read morewith shoes, drums, seals, cylinders, and bearings. Paid $2,397.00. When I got it home I noticed both wheels were covered in leaking oil. Took it back. Owner reported his mechanic over sprayed and made a mess. They said they will stand behind their work. Took it back home and had a severe grinding noise from right rear brake. Took it back again. Left it several days.. owner said fixed. Took the truck home.. and was towing my boat and had severe loud grinding and smoking from the back brake. Had owner tow it to the shop and he said that he replaced axel bearings and reassembled. Took it home and once again had the same problem. Took the truck back again and it stayed there for around 8 days. Launch Diesel said nothing wrong with it and he didn't hear any noise. I had a video of the sound and let him listen to it. He never even took the wheel off to check because he said he was too busy and didn't have an open bay. Would not fix or look at it. Took it home and once again severe brake grinding. Took it back and even though the Launch Diesel said they stand behind their work.. would not look at my truck, said he was too busy and refused to refund any amount so I could take it elsewhere. Same day I took it to Midas and when they pulled the wheel off.. parts fell out of the drum (pictured below) and onto the ground. Was told the parking brake was put on improperly by Launch Diesel and now I needed new drum, spring kit, and shoes. Launch Diesel did stand behind their work even though they had several opportunities to make it right. Richard (Launch Diesel) was advised about the repairs and issues found by Midas, and he said he did not believe it and he hung up.

I came in for an estimate and they wrote me up so I knew the cost before any work was done. They are honest and fair. The work and customer service was phenomenal. I am extremely happy with my exhaust, which I wanted to stay quite and stock sounding. My transmission was shifting a little rough which is why I wanted it flushed. They were so awesome and snapped some pictures of the trans fluid to show me how it was really burnt! This was great to know because Ford recommends a flush at 150,000 miles and my truck is only at 90,000. I always appreciate a shop that takes the time to explain repairs and talk about preventative maintenance for each specific case. I will be getting all of vehicles serviced here in the future!
